I was laid off in July of 2020 due to the pandemic and had been looking for work since Oct 2020 without luck. I contacted Express Emp. Pros. And within one day I had interviews with Elizabeth. She helped me get some weld tests scheduled for two companies that seemed promising. Even though the companies took several days to respond to Elizabeth, I eventually will be placed at a company where I believe my education and experience will benefit me in the long run. As far as Express, Elizabeth was always in contact with me during the days giving me updates and she never once seemed bothered by me contacting her. She is very professional in every aspect. I know it is up to me to work hard and make a good impression so that I may become a permanent employee, but Elizabeth and Express guided me to get my foot in the door. I love the Express Employment Professionals team. The people are not concerned with placing qualified and experienced job seekers. They wasted my time testing for a role that was posted, only to turn around the next day to be told by Carrie they weren’t sure if the role was actually going to start. She was supposed to follow up with me, but never did. I also tried contacting the recruiter, Elizabeth directly to inquire about open opportunities and sent my resume. She never responded. If you are seeking employment in Longview, look elsewhere.

I interviewed prior to moving to the Longview area. Once I came, I let Jeanie know and she had me an interview within a week. I was hired on and after my 90 days, I became a Full Time employee. I am extremely happy in my current position and get to work with Catie (one of the ladies at the Longview location) on something every week. They are super friendly and very sweet. Very well organized and helpful place. They really care and will help you find work. After a month of signing up No job has been found for me yet and tired of these online applications with their questionnaires that determine rather you are hireable or not. Someone who fails those thing could be the best worker of all but someone who passes those questionnaires could be the laziest worker of all.Since no jobs have been found for me I give up on calling the number they gave me.

I’ve worked various assignments for Express for nearly 20 years now. Throughout this time, the efficiency and compassion shown by the employees has been consistent. I can always depend on Jeannie at the Longview, Texas branch to deliver positions that fit my qualifications and personal life.When Jeannie has a position in mind for you, she takes into account your entire situation. I can recall when I told her a concern that I had about my morning and evening travel time. They never call you back or contact you, and looks that they only get jobs to people they know, when you go in they are always really friendly with someone and know them by name whom just got permanently hired somewhere, no trust or belief in this or others temp services,, by the way people need jobs, what happen to on the job training, if we had experience for some of these jobs we wouldnt need a temp service, people could work if these companies would stop only wanting people that already have skills in that area, what a discouragement, we have to lose our homes, apartments or cars . When these Temp Agencies started years ago you went to work in 2-3 days with No experience so, sad these Corporations are all for themselves and their pockets and dont want to spend No time at giving training to people that Need a job and wiling to work.

Express Employment has wonderful staff that are helpful and friendly, I was working 2 weeks after I interviewed with them. They are the only staffing agency I would recommend!

Its a hit or miss with this company. Im not gonna talk down on them. Whenever I am available for work, I dont hear from them. On the other hand, whenever I am unavailable, they call. I have made money with this company in the past three years; Better than $0/hr.

This place never calls you back and never had a decent job available. Waste of time. I found a job using indeed and didn’t have to leave my home.
