I use the online app for check-in. I love it, I can check in, depending on wait time, and get a seat right when I walk through the door. The system saves your hair style / measurements. So, if you get the same fad or cut each time, the stylist just looks at the notes from the previous session and boom, you ready to go!

Great place for a quick haircut. Friendly and professional staff. My son really likes the Gilmer Road location. Store was very clean and well maintained. Sports on TV as advertised!! Check in was quick and easy. Check out was just as fast. The waiting area gets pretty warm when the sunlight comes in though. Great place.

Husband took son to get their hair cut. Weve been taking him here for a while, this time though, idk what happened, but my husbands hair was not done very well and my sons neck was all cut up and bleeding. My son sits well, and loves haircuts so it wasnt from him fussing. Theres no excuse for my 4 yr old to have MULTIPLE cuts on his neck. Maybe one I could understand but 4+ is unacceptable. Will not be back.

The lady cutting my sons hair didnt listen. We asked for maybe a quarter inch cut off and shaved underneath. She cut it quite short and told us we need to use product to keep his cow lick down. But really all it needs is the underneath cut shorter.... But my son didnt want to fix it. Its already shorter than he wanted, so he is just working with it. Usually we get much better service. I know who we wont be letting cut his hair anymore.

I had to get my haircut for my schools one act play, which takes place in the 1930s, and my hair stylist, Michelle, did an incredible job interpreting that to work with my face!! I will absolutely be coming back in the future!!

I took my son to get a haircut on 8/30/2020 and Sandi was the barber that cut his hair. She did a super fantastic job on his hair and didnt have any complaints on my requests to only use scissors and not clippers. She suggested some tea tree moisturizer for his hair due to his hair texture which I agreed to. I went to pay using one of my debit cards and I forgot I was going to pay for services on card and leave her tip with cash. This is where the problem happens. The total was $43 for cut, product and what I was going to leave her as a tip but I only had $37 on the card. I asked for a refund and paid in cash instead. It has now been 12 days and I have called numerous times to get my refund and I get told that the manager isnt there that she only comes in after closing and that they will text the manager to have her call me back. I have never received a phone call or refund. My son would like to go back because he really loves his haircut but the bad customer service keeps me from going back.

What more can you say?If you get the Sport Clips app it works really well to see how long a wait you might have and check in on-line before you head to their location. Using the app, I rarely have to wait more than a couple minutes after arriving.

Sammie gave me a fantastic haircut today and Holly did a great job fixing my sons hair after he attempted to cut it himself.I am also impressed with their patience and professionalism while working with a young child that was there at the same time I was getting a haircut. The boy was not happy about getting his hair cut, but they made the best of a bad situation, got the job done, and the child and his mother left happy.

One of the most butchered fades (can’t even call it that) that I’ve ever had. Let’s just say one side is done halfway decent the other side there is no fade whatsoever. Absolutely waste of time and money. Now I will have to go to a actual barber and get it fixed.

Do NOT use the Sports Clips off Gilmer Rd in Longview! The manager cut my son’s hair for his very first hair cut, she was rude as hell and very mean. That store definitely needs a new manager. I will not be going back to another sports clips ever again because of this unprofessional manager named Mo!

The lady that cut my hair did a good job. But this is by far the most expensive place in town to get a simple mens haircut. They just opened back up after the cvid19 scare. I did not know until I sat down and they asked what I wanted, that they do not do beard trims right now, she said they are not allowed. I would have never gone in there if I had known that. I would have found someplace that does both. I know the response will be “its for everyone’s safety”. That is always the answer when corporate is trying to do what is politically correct and not what is prudent.

Put my son the list and they kept moving people that they knew in front of him. When I said something they tried to take his name off the list. We had been waiting over an hour and all the people that had come in after us were either getting their hair cut or was done already.

Heather cut my grandsons hair. She did a great job and was very patient as he has scars from back surgeries, and limited range of motion in his neck. She found his double crown before i mentioned it and cut the hair on his crown accordingly. The place was very clean and comfortable. My grandson has autism and wasnt scared at all. I highly recommend SportClips!

I went in the Gilmer Road store in Longview, TX. I wanted some information. Three employees were at the register area at one time. I was never greeted or acknowledged. After the last employee walked away, I walked out humiliated! I could have been from corporate for all they knew. Obviously, they didnt care! I wouldnt even give them one star. It was embarrassing.

The personnel are always friendly. They also have a record on what I want done. I would not go anywhere else.

I love the sportish atmosphere, and on the whole, the entire staff is very friendly, but the clippers that get used are about as inconsistent as a Detroit sports team, leaving me unsure what a #3 or #4 is on any given day.I assume they make minimum wage, and bring their own clippers, which is a shame- theyre all so friendly and truly deserve more than I suspect their getting. Id prefer SportsClips buying standardized clippers, keeping lengths consistent for one, and not requiring their stylists to spend money on purchasing and maintaining different brands and types of clippers.

Im hesitant to use chain barbers/salons, but gave Sport Clips a try last year and have been going ever since. Staff is nice, there are a few girls who do outstanding fades (especially Alex) and take the extra time to pull out the 1/2 guards and do it right. The shampoo and massage chair is icing on the cake.

My wife and I take our son to sports clips to get his hair cut. Yesterday 12/10/18 we took him to get his hair cut and they completely destroyed his hair. How hard is it to look in the system and make sure your doing the same hair cut as last time. We ask for a fade not a buzz cut. My son is so upset over his hair that he cried all afternoon and didnt want to go to school today. I will be getting a refund today and WILL NOT take him back here. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!

Sent my son here today to get his hair cut. He always goes to the one on Gilmer Rd and they always do a nice job. Today he went to the one on Eastman Rd and OMG never again. My 2 year old niece could have done better. He asked for 3 inches off and they cut at least 4, chopped it all the way around, left one side longer than the other and cut the crown of his hair so short he makes him look like an egg head. Tomorrow is his first day back to school and things lady really screwed up. I have never been so disappointed in a haircut in all my life and its not like it was cheap. They need to give him his money back so he can go pay to have it fixed. Pathetic!

I was a walk in on 2-28-2019. there were mostly men customers and it seemed fairly busy. it only took about 20 mins to get me back and miss monica did me right. shampoo, cut, an amazing cut(just what i wanted) and a quick styling. reasonable price. all good. very good. thank you again monica. see you again soon!!

I asked for my hair to fade up and my hair is the same length all the way around. It seems like she tried to fade the sides but it didnt at all. It looks stupid. It doesnt blend and its so choppy and uneven on my sides.My hair is some what long on top and short all the way around.I showed the girl pictures and everything and I still didnt get what I wanted. Not to mention she didnt section off my hair like youre supposed to, and it only took her 20 minutes. If she wouldve taken her time and done it correctly it wouldve been a 30-40 minute cut.I cant speak for people who have long long hair but if you have short hair, dont go here. Big waste of money and time.

Horrible experience. The woman cutting my hair was very nice and courteous but the manager Gail was very rude to me and others in line. Also rude enough to co workers that it made it uncomfortable for everyone inside. I will take my business to the sports clips on 259 from now on even though it is out of my way.

I hate this place. I always go to Bernardos barber shop and it happened to be closed. I really needed like haircut because I was about to head out on vacation and so I had to get a haircut so I had to choose Sports clips. It was the worst haircut Ive ever gotten. I even asked for specific things and specific details and they ruuined it. If your going to get a haircut go to Bernardos Barber shop.

I am a non-gender confirming individual that happens to have thinning hair. I dont have a problem with my appearance, but I had my doctor check my scalp and run tests. He today me that it is hereditary (my paternal grandmother had the same issue) and that I could try one of those hair growth formulas, but in his opinion they dont work. As I said before, I dont have a problem with my appearance and as long as its not a health issue, I am not going to waste my money.I quit going to beauty salons because I got tired of the beauticians basically trying to get me to buy the hair growth product de jour that they are pushing for vain reasons.I was in right before Christmas and the lady that cut my hair tried to say my doctor was wrong and she knew better. Now, no offense, but when did a medical degree come from a cosmetology school?Im not sure if I will be back.
