Absolutely amazing food and staff. I have never had anything bad here. Side note if youre picky about bloody Marys as I am this place has the best I think I have ever had. That is not an exaggeration by any means. Cant wait for them to re-open. Please please do it soon. Im having withdrawals 🙏🙏

Once in a blue moon you come across a chef who is part wizard, whos passion for what they do is beyond our comprehension. With an ability to coax the most delicate of flavors from every ingredient touched. Such a wizard exists at Urban and if youve had the pleasure of experiencing this consider yourself blessed and if you havent then shame on you.

We ordered the prime rib.one steak tough and both had way to much rosemary on them. The cheese bread really stale and cold. The side a pasta cold not even a little warm. So disappointed. At 26.99 each. And such a bad dinner

We had actually gone to Mill City Grill to eat but after 15 minutes at a table, with zero acknowledgement of our presence, we left for Urban Saloon & Grill. What a wonderful decision! It was meant to be! We walked in, oohed and ahhed at the specials, the drink menu and our hostess said to take our time, our table is ready for us when were ready. Nice! The menus. Lordy, how do you choose? Everything sounds so mouthwatering delicious! We started with cocktails. My husband ordered the Pineapple Upside Down Cake and it was divine! I ordered the Orange Lemon Creamsicle and it tasted JUST LIKE an Orange Julius but with that nice little boozy bite to it. EXACTLY what I wanted! Our server even brought out the little extra that was left over in the blender. (Dont you just love that?!) She took our order for the cheese curds appetizer and it was absolutely delicious! I remember thinking I could happily eat those on the daily😃. By this point, Im thinking we really did something right to be enjoying the evening so much. We needed our servers input to decide what to eat, we just wanted everything. My husband ordered the end cut prime rib with onion rings and cavatappi pasta in a pesto cream sauce. Needless to say, the selection of side dishes will appeal to everyone. I ordered the seasonal special of mushroom cavatappi pasta. Okay. Let me just preface this with a backstory. In the quest for perfect prime rib, there has only ever been one place that I would eat it. In beautiful Olney, Montana there WAS a restaurant called Point of Rocks and I Yelp reviewed that place so good and so hard for the perfection of it. Yes, 700 miles away. Dont care. It was that good. Sadly (and when I say sadly, remember that I think that a 1400 mile round trip for prime rib is aight) SADLY, Point of Rocks burned down. I cant talk about it. It just hurts when I get to that point in the telling. RIP, POR. Flash to us sitting at the the table at Urban Saloon & Grill. These meals have just been served and one bite of that mushroom pasta caused quite a special spasm of joy. People. Linda. Listen, Linda, listen. IF YOU LOVE MUSHROOMS you NEED to get there quick like and order that seasonal special. The flavor and texture will blow you away! YES! You TOO can have little inappropriate joy spasms before God and everyone! And, because I am a woman and there really is nothing we love more than what YOURE having, I tried everything on my husbands plate. And this is when the planets aligned, and I realized that this IS my winning Powerball ticket, right here. The onion rings, perfect 11/10. Srsly. The batter is RIGHT. The pesto cream pasta is basil-forward in a good and bold way and I honestly couldnt believe they allow us to have it as a side dish. THAT good. But the prime rib, mama, the prime RIB. Butter my butt and call me a biscuit if that prime rib didnt just take the top honors. We passed cow in one bite. My yelp for POR declared their prime rib cut from the calf of Jesus Christ himself, so good! Well, guess what. Jesus has TWO calves and this prime rib clearly came from the second calf! This sexy hunk of Jesus calf may end up being the only reason Ill regret leaving this world. Queen Carnivore here is telling you that if you are all about the beef, you can NOT miss this place. That prime rib just falls apart in your mouth, so tender, juicy and flavorful. Its everything. Im sorry that words are failing me on this but there are some meals that we dont have words to adequately describe and this, ladies and gents, is one of them. BELIEVE THE HYPE. Now, no dining experience is complete without a review of the service. There was only one person working the front. She was hostess, server, bartender. She KILLED it! Friendly? ✔️ Patient? ✔️ Timely?✔️ Did we want to adopt her?✔️. Im on the record here and this has got to be meaningful. This was the BEST service Ive had in Longview. Maybeeee even ever. Im not saying youre dumb if you dont go. But I AM saying youre downright savvy if you do.😁

My friends and I tried this place for the first time this weekend. LET ME TELL YOU! The server Erin is AMAZING! She was the only one on staff that night and she made sure that didnt slow her down. One of the best customer service I have ever had at a restaurant! We were all pleased with everything from the drinks to the meals. So I had tried this place twice in the past, and had a terrible experience.The first time it was right after they opened, and I chalked it up to being new.I gave them a second try some time later, and was thoroughly unimpressed. I dont know if an entree can lose the will to live, but that is what it tasted like happened. The atmosphere was bad, and the food was worse.Flash forward to this week. I see there are new owners, and the previous owner is tearing them apart on facebook, but amid the blind hatred I saw a lot of people talking about how great their experience was there since the ownership changed.This was enough to make me willing to give them a third chance, and I am SO glad that I did.Our waitress/bartender was absolutely amazing, she definitely seemed like she was needing to multitask a ton, but never missed a step with our table.The beer list was great, but the food, oh the food, that was amazing.The portion sizes were absolutely perfect, I was comfortably full, without needing to take home a doggy bag that would sit in fridge purgatory for a week before meeting the trash can.If my previous dining experience tasted like my food had lost the will to live, then this time it tasted as though it was seasoned with the optimistic hope of youth.The french fries had the best flavor of any fry I have ever had, with the perfect amount of crunch. My steak was absolutely fantastic as well….. then there was dessert…..We order a slice of peanut butter cheesecake, and it was delightful. You know how everyone adores that kid who plays Dustin on Stranger Things? That is how good this peanut butter cheesecake was.I got a chance to meet the owner as well and he was a genuinely kind human being.Bottom line, do yourself a favor and ignore the local drama and go try the best dining experience I have had in this little town in a long damn time.

Gena was a delightful hostess & server. Our visit was on a Wednesday evening close to closing time so the place was enjoyably quiet. Food was yummy as always, served fresh and hot. Drink was tall and cold. A perfect evening.

The food never disappoints. It is always fresh and delicious. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. When I ordered a lemon drop my server said she made great ones and she wasnt lying. It was amazing. The only complaint I have is that the building design amplifies the noise and it is very loud. If someone in your party has a sensory processing disorder you may want to take that into account. My daughter with Aspergers was overwhelmed by the noise.

Make sure you try one of the many delicious burgers they have on the menu, and I think youll enjoy the rich flavor of fresh french press coffee. Ive had many meetings with business clients at Urban Saloon and Ive never been disappointed!

Food was pretty delicious! Had prime rib and it was cooked to order (medium rare) which many places have a hard time getting it just right. They have some specialty cocktails that sounded really good, my husband had a red captain morgans drink that was tasty! The red pepper jelly was to die for. The service was quick and friendly and the restaurant interior was very cool. It was a pleasant place for date night!

Ribeye was cooked to perfection; delicious grilled flavor. The Yukon Gold spuds and grilled vegetables where the perfect sides with this steak.

Just happened to look up restaurants while shopping. Chose Urban Bar & Grill. We were not disappointed. Portions were generous for the price, great presentation and truly flavorful. Great food, drinks, atmosphere and staff! We will definitely return!

We had a large group with reservations for lunch on August 13.Disappointed that we were never told about the 18% tip added on, so several tipped again. We ordered the special, a chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes & gravy. No bread, no salad, no veggie for $21.99 each.0 We asked the price & never got it. It had very little gravy on it, so asked for more. We were each charged $3 for extra gravy. $61.99 for 2 lunch specials, 2 drinks, 2 sides of gravy, & a large preset tip. Needless to say, we wont be back.

My favorite place! The food is excellent! The prices are very reasonable! Fun environment and friendly staff along with great service! Peanut butter pie and mounds pie are to die for! If you havent tried Urban yet youre missing out!

Every now and then, when you pass through a place you know nothing about, you happen upon an establishment that meets and exceeds every expectation you could have. The Urban Saloon is just such a place. Great service, perfectly cooked steaks, and tasty sides. Thanks for a great meal!

Delicious burgers... Loved the beer tasting platter and the environment. Server took forever to bring check and was slow on bringing out food. Forgot part of my order.. I ordered the same as my partner she brought his salad and not mine. Never got it.

Not worth the prices. First time eating here and my experience was not good. Took way to long to bring the food out. My food wasnt hot. It felt like it was under a heat lamp for a while. You can tell the grease in the fryer needed to be changed because my fries didnt look appealing and were to hard. The spices used in the burger and in the pot pie were to over powering. Over all not worth the prices they are asking for. The chairs are very hard and uncomfortable. All though our waitress was very polite and friendly I would not recommend this place, or come back.

Came in at closing time and the staff was super awesome. My girlfriend wasnt a fan of what she ordered. And the manager was nice enough to comp her meal. Great place awesome waiting staff definitely a place to come back to.

First time here and was very good. Best onion rings i have ever had and my coffee was served in my own little french press, that was a first for me and the coffee was so good. Had one of the prime rib sandwiches, very good loved the roasted red peppers and blue cheese on it. We will be back. Oh and they were busy and yet service was just fine

Been here several times. Weve always loved their burgers and pasta. This time we went for Valentines Day. We ordered steaks. They were full of fat. The sides were great bit a little disappointed with the meat. Ill return based on prior visits. Love most of the food!

First time thete for lunch and we found a real winner!! Once inside the tables and chairs were spaced so we werent hearing others conversations. The menu had a variety of food and prices...hard to decide on your choices. We had great tasting choices plus dessert...cheesecake was out if this world. Will plan on visiting soon. Yummy

Wedge salad was ok, not hard to mess that up. Service was amazingly slow and waitress never even checked on us. She was too busy talking to guy at counter. Atmosphere was awesome. Sadly the service was so awful. Took 45 minutes to get our wedge salads and only 3 other tables in the place. Sad

They were very attentive. The food was great. However if youre gluten intolerant, be sure to ask about each item just to make sure. They do have gluten free options and were very helpful, but one item had to be redone when we realised it might note be gluten free.

We were there on our way home from Christmas road trip in the middle of the day, so not many patrons. The food was outstanding, beer and drinks were really good. Gena our server/bartender was very personable and a great gal!

Steve told us to go here. . . F Steve. The food we ordered was not too bad, the sandwich I had was alright (its hard to mess up a club sandwich). The environment, not my thing, nor is the country music. I get the western theme they were going for, but the BMW bike just didnt seem to fit. Again though, I enjoyed my sandwich, and Steve loves this place, and Steve is a cool dude. :)

This place never seems to disappoint my taste buds. I usually dont try different dishes because I know what I like, but here you will be glad you did. They took off the pork chop which I was bummed about but the waiter suggested the N.Y strip steak, mashed potatoes and stout gravy and it was amazing. Definitely worth stopping by if you havent. They also have a good selection of local craft beer.

Went here with wife later in the evening. Liked the candles at the table. Unique place. More importantly the food was really good. Wife had the salmon and said it was really good (and she is really picky with her fish). I had the Diablo burger and it was awesome - I’m just paying for it now LOL.

The chicken pot pie is great and decent burgers and sandwiches too. The bare light bulbs are a bit much and take away from the atmosphere. But all in all, a great place.

Easy walking distance from our dodgy motel -- we needed something keto-friendly so looked at reviews and chose this.The host was excellent.The steak salad was on the good side of what we consider ordinary, but we have pretty high standards. The fresh sheet had a chicken chicharrone app that was new to us and very likeable! Was told that the wedge salad had just sold out and was offered romaine treated like a wedge. A wedge arrived (! and it was good: solid wedge with choice of dressing, nice serving of extra blue cheese crumbles, good bacon, halved baby romas and thin cucumber slices. And a slice of grilled bread which I didnt eat so I cant report on).Soup was a seafood chowder, light on cream and agreeable, several seafoods including baby shrimp. Nothing exciting.Decor was hit and miss, we liked the use of lighted paper lanterns to make a wall division, and the varied burlap sacks as wall art. Table covers were paper and colored pencils provided -- I was about to draw something fun for the staff then discovered that every pencil was entirely dull. Sadness descended upon the land.Beverage selection was probably good for the area. Prices were fine. Service was there but the check was brought without us asking, while I was two thirds through my meal and had most of my beer remaining. The place was mostly empty so I felt like I was in a diner! If we had wanted dessert we would have had to have called out to her retreating back or decide to go elsewhere.Not destination dining, yet a solid choice from what we saw, and the area we were in. Hence four stars, the same I give the French Laundry.

Had a quiet, quick mid afternoon meal with my wife. Food was great. Wait staff were understanding of our needs and quickly offered an alternative for carbs. Decor fit the bill. As an additional plus, the Urban Saloon sponsors our childs marching band!

The place was uncomfortably warm, the wait staff seemed overwhelmed and in a hurry the whole time. I feel the kids menu is over priced, who pays three dollars fora kids drink? Our food was good but its the whole experience that makes me question going back.

Im up awake at this hour as I have been for a few holding my stomach hoping that this too shall pass. I think this place needs to limit their menu to food they can cook correctly, onion rings were delicious but steak and soup, not so much. Im not sure if it was the bartender/servers lack of beer pairing knowledge or if the food was just bad. Brewhouse steak/pineapple ipa? No, just no. The server was depressing, she looked so sad and it brought down our vibe. With the menu prices as high as they are I expect more professional hospitality. I consider making sure strong flavors dont contrast an imperative. On top of all that, the NY strip was fibrous, chewy. Not my best restaurant experience.

The food here is fabulous. Pasta dishes are the best - wish there were more options of pasta on the menu. Like the decor, altho it can be a little cavernous - but its hip and trendy and Longview needs some modern eating establishments! !!! Waitress was friendly and nice and service was good. Personally, we think this is one of the best places to eat in town. The only negative is that they seem to be out of my preference of wine pretty frequently - which is disappointing.

Top places in town, Clean, Well organized and amazing food.

Side salad contained moldy lettuce. Server seemed grumpy from the beginning. Food took an hour and the place was empty- should’ve taken that as a clue. I will never go back and will not recommend.

The food is excellent!!! The service was just as good. Great place to eat! We started with the Jalopĕno Popper dip. The dip was great and we really liked the flat bread served with it. We had the Divine Swine Sandwich and Burger with Pulled Pork on a pretzel bun. Both were very good and we would recommend either. The Bacon Jam is awesome. We live in Vancouver but take trips all the way Longveiw just to eat at Urban Saloon. Next time up we are going for dinner. I hear the prime rib is awesome.

This is a very nice place to eat at. The staff is very frendly the food is cooked exactly as you ask for it to be. This is a place you can bring your family or if you are just looking for a place to take a date to. I highly recommend this place to everyone for any reason. I am glad there is a place here in Longview that can be either formal or informal and that is family frendly and pleasant to everyone. If I could I would of given more than 5 stars.

Awesome food, staff is very friendly and welcoming, and decor is adorable. Only downside is that the drink prices are a bit steep. It is also somewhere we wont go if they are too busy, as there really arent any dividers or anything between each table so when busy it has sort of a cafeteria atmosphere. However, this has become our new go-to for dinner out! Highly reccomend!

The Urban could have used more wait staff during the first part of our visit. Also the mesquite pound if potatos had seasoning caked in clumps. The steak was cooked to perfection, even with its large piece of grissle in the middle. Over all the experience was good, even though the price seemed a bit high.
