Solid! Fabulous, friendly service and good food! We need to revisit this place when it’s not as busy. Of course our downfall; we visited on a Friday evening (What were we thinking)? The service was fast, friendly and efficient. For starters our waitress recommended the Mac and cheese balls, they were ridiculous and I’m glad I stopped at two! I consumed my weeks worth calories, tonight! Food and drinks were delivered quickly. I ordered the Thai salad and it was huge! Hubs ordered the pork butt soup and a Caesar salad. Both of us were very happy with our meals. We will be returning. Soon!

Their food was total comfort food! Whoever is the chef there knows how to cook good food! And flavor? Such fantastic flavor! Very enjoyable, however, if it’s peace and quiet you need while enjoying some amazing food, here may not be the place…very loud, but if you can put up with noise, you won’t be disappointed.

Highly recommend this place, fire burgers, salads, and more. I had the signature mill city burger, that blue cheese sauce is what has me hooked and coming back for more.My only gripe was that burger I ordered was cooked ‘well’ and very very small didn’t fit the bun. Hopefully next time the patty size will be adequate for the bun size they use, and asking on cooking preference, I always love a mid rare burger.

I love this place. They are comfortable and physically uncrowded even when busy. The menu is varied (the pork butt stew is killer, and you wouldn’t get that many sautéed mushrooms if 3 of you ordered sides anyplace else- and look at the size of the spaghetti serving!). The wait staff is experienced and customer-focused. Try it!

Delicious food and a good tap list. We got the loaded sweet potato fries last time and with all the blue cheese and bacon, that could easily be a meal on its own. The southwest chicken salad is huge and quite satisfying. The pizza is one of the best pizzas in town. Splitting meals is easy here and they all go well with the beer. We will be back soon for the burgers we usually go here for that we havent had a chance to try yet because everything else is so good.

Im torn between giving 3 or 4 stars. I decided to be generous and give 4 stars. The food is good to excellent, depending on what you order, except the fries were overdone and dry. I dont recommend the fries. All other food has been good to excellent each visit. The service varies from one visit to the next. Sometimes service is poor. On other visits service is good.This is a good place to go if you have a lot of free time (after work or on weekend). This is NOT a place to go if you are in a hurry. It takes too long for a workday lunch break, but is nice after work or on weekend.Prices are high, but portions are large and most food is good to excellent. This is NOT a place for a person on a tight budget; but if you have plenty of money, time, and patience; and love good food, then I recommend it.

Fantastic food, and a place you can take your dog to eat with you. (Outside of course!) The food was tasty, but the service did take a bit. But I presume they must have been really busy inside!

Go here for the meatloaf. The mix of mostly bison, ground beef and spices is top of the line. So is the chili, but skip the seafood, which is too ordinary to rave about.

Yummy pizza and delicious salad! We had a great time!Edit (2 weeks later): we went back and got loaded sweet potato fries and a different salad and it was even better.This is a must-eat in Longview!We ate in the bar upstairs and the waitress and I did impromptu karaoke to the country music, the beer was good, and honestly, just lovely. Great open atmosphere. Tall ceiling, upstairs bar, outdoor seating. It was busy on Wednesday lunch and I got 2-piece halibut fish n chips ($14.04+tax). It was solid tasty. Smaller portion of fish not seeming to be battered in house. I should have gone for steak tacos or another of their specialties with menu recognition. Server didnt check on me after served, but was delivered quick from the kitchen. Will be back to try the ribeye.

I love this place. Ive never been disappointed. I got the steak dip and beer battered fries (the house chips are hard and have no flavor) the fries were 2.50 extra and worth every penny. I love the atmosphere and the service and the food. I will go back!

Myself, my wife, and our son visited the Mill City Grill on Sunday, May 2, 21. Very impressed. Remarkable staff. Good, street-side - and covered - outdoor seating. Perfect pizza crust was best ever. Beer/wine Great. Wake up to this town, investors. The retail core is asleep.

They were so awesome and accommodating! We had tried to go somewhere else but it was a 2 1/2 hour wait so we called Mill City Grill, just over an hour to close and they welcomed our 14 person party! They were so nice and the food was delicious!!

Kim was awesome tonight. She works upstairs but was downstairs running around dealing with multiple tables when the other servers where only dealing with 1. And Kim would even help with theirs. She wasnt even our original server. But glad she became ours. Thanks Kim. Will definitely be back again thanks to you. Only giving 4 stars do to other servers lacking.

Not the fastest service in the world, but we werent in a hurry so that was fine with us. Amazingly very menu with unique dishes. Very good food, in our experience, and friendly employees.

For the price I was disappointed. Service wasnt the best and for the atmosphere, I would have been happier if the food was more the basics of what you would expect for a grill. They tried to be too upscale in the food that I didnt find the flavors palatable.

My family was in town to visit Mt St Helens and we wanted to go grab a bite to eat outdoors with our little dog. I called ahead to see if that was okay. They said Yeah, all dogs are welcome outside. See ya soon! We got there at 6:40pm and the waitress said that food was going to take over an hour from the time you order. I said okay, we are sitting outside. She gave me this puzzled look, then she looked at her watch and told me again itll be at least an hour before we got food. I could tell that she was signaling to me that she didnt really want our business. It pretty much ruined our night of vacation so we went back to our room and ordered Dominos delivered to our room. This is some really poor service to say the least. Im not positive how you stay in business but hopefully youll look into professionally managing a restaurant.

We were only in Longview for the day and the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed. After driving through the downtown we chose this place because of the cute outdoor seating and delicious pizza smells. I was impressed! It is cute and clean inside. All of the employees we encountered were friendly and helpful. The wings with the bbq rub were awesome - crunchy but also moist. My husbands club sandwich was over the top with thickly sliced meats and fresh tomatoes and lettuce. The housemade chips were well seasoned and crispy. I got the halibut and chips and Im not sure they were hand battered but Im also not sure they were advertised as such and they didnt have any freezer burn taste and had obviously been fried in clean fryer oil. The fries were tasty. Also, a lovely beer selection and the tater tots and pizza I saw on other diners tables looked yummy too. Well be back next time were in town

The food was pretty good, got our drinks wrong, but was corrected with time. The broccoli tasted a little off. However my wife and I enjoyed our steaks and fries. Not sure wed make this our first choice but we wouldnt say no if invited out.

Best burger in town! They have fun updates and plenty of space and noise to allow for kids, adults celebrating, and everything in between. This place is on my short list whenever we plan to have a night out, especially with friends or out-of-towners. “Fancy but not fancy shmancy” as my daughter says. It’s a nicer bar and grill. :)

We came in about 5 on a Friday and it was kinda quiet. The food was very good, and the service was great too. I ordered a cherry lime martini and it was excellent. Even as it got busy, We were asked several times from different servers if we needed anything. Looking forward to going again and trying other dishes

Oh this place is pretty cool. Do they have great food if only had four or five dishes but theyve all been really good my favorite so far has been the beef stroganoff. The beer is good. Staff is competent wouldnt say the most friendly bunch in the world but their their to-do a job not be your friend lol

Great food great service fun atmosphere

Decided to try this place while we were out traveling. Food was decent. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich, had less then a table spoon of sauce on it. The service is definitely left more to be desired. Waited probably 15 minutes before anyone came over. The waitress seemed very unpleased to help us or even be there. When we paid she didnt give us our card back. When I made eye contact with her she scooted away quickly into the kitchen. I had to go up and ask for my card since she disappeared. We wont be back.

Not sure what happened tonight... seems like the waitresses were arguing about who would have to take our order. We waited for almost 30min before we gave up and just walked up to the kitchen to order. After being told a waitress would be right over, she was very rude and not shy in showing she was not pleased to be taking our order. Weve been a couple times and the food is good but with tonights service Im not sure the food is worth it.

Chaoticwe were waiting on three meals for 30 minutes and by the time we got the last three meals the other six people I was with were done eating. not only did the manager give us $3 off a $15 dollar burger, she didnt help the waitress who obviously needed some guidance during this. the bills total was $200 and she gave us $3 off??? this was absolutely ridiculous. after all of this happened we checked our cards and discovered many of us were charged all over the place for our meals. help your employees becca!!!

Like pulling teeth just to get a drink. Beer or otherwise. Only me at a table..one beer and a shot, berr tok 2 minutes. another 10 minutes for shot. Asked for another beer n my check, about 8 minutes later a beer appeared but no check. No food even.

Great place to go for a burger and maybe a Fire roasted pizza or ribs. I ended up ordering the Maui waui Teriyaki burger. Very Juicy and lots of flavor. It being Friday I also order a small cup Chowder, very creamy and sweet and tasty. Anything from that our server was excellent. She had to leave cause her shift was over mid time through our meal. So another Server took over. Just a little upset she was to in grossed in talking to her peers then checking up on us. We had to wait a little longer for our check. Besides that I recommend this place great atmosphere and nice people.

If youre looking for big portions this is your place to go although there was nothing memorable about any of their signature dishes. I feel like the owner would be better off shrinking the menu options of over 50 entrees to a smaller menu focused on quality rather than quantity

The staff was friendly and energetic. It was also very nice to get out after lockdown. It was also reasonably priced, side for the chicken strips which were more like popcorn chicken, and the salad with steak could have had more steak for the price.

Our food was good, once it’s came. Party of 6 so we had a small wait, but other larger parties were seated before us even though we were on the waiting list first. Our food came minus 2 people’s orders, they corrected it, but it was like it was forgotten and took an additional 10 min. The sever checked on us one time once we were done eating. Seems like if you are not a local, you do not matter. Too bad

First time trying this place. Didnt know what to expect. Its a seat yourself restaurant. We sat down and our first hostess/waitress came over gave us menus and we put in our drinks. However if you want an alcoholic drink you have to wait to order that from your real waitress. We waited about 20 mins before we ever saw our waitress. She didnt say hello, she came up and said what can i get you.... it was 8pm on a Friday night so the second food rush was beginning. However we watched 4 others come in get drinks and order food from the same waitress while we waited for her to come by our table. Food came out. Burgers were good. Frys were good. Waited another 15 minutes after food arrived to get refills. Got refills, then waited for our check for another 15 mins. Our waitress never came back to our table to check on us. I flagged down another waitress to get our check so we could pay and leave. Terrible Customer Service! After reading the reviews i can see thats a common theme. I cannot say Post Covid was to blame because our waitress was helping some customers but ignoring others. There were plenty of staff. Its unfortunate this was our experience. Looked like a place we would try again but i dont know.

Tried calling, could hear people talking but sounds like they answered and then put the phone on the counter.....no “thank you for calling please hold”.... just silence. Been trying to call but the phone is busy because they clearly aren’t paying attention. Never been there before....not a good first impression.

Have been wanting to try this place and I guess today was a bad day to do so. Went in around 1 pm, wasnt busy at all. The sign said seat yourself so we did. Sat, waited, waited, waited long enough we go up and left. No welcome, no drinks, no acknowledgement at all. Doubt Ill try it again.

It was ok. Chose this place because they claimed gluten free on the web. The server was not very knowledgeable about allergy issues but she did check with the kitchen. My food was weird but my granddaughers hamburger looked good. If you have allergies eat at your own risk.

I have been here 4 times. The first time my husband ordered the mac and cheese with pulled pork but the server wrote down the mac and cheese pizza. It actually turned out to be one of the best mistakes. The second time he ordered the pizza again and it was good but slightly burned and the service was really good. The third time the service was awful.They forgot our drinks, the food took forever and my husbands pizza was extremely burned. Finally tonight it took over an hour to get our meal that was burned again and the service was awful. We decided we would not be returning.

The food was delicious, the portions are huge, the price is right for the quality of food you get, the establishment in itself was very nice and welcoming, and the service is excellent..... no complaints at all, 5 star rating from me!

Had a wonderful dinner with even better service! Didnt realize they were closing at 8PM, but we arrived around 7:15 and were still treated as though we were welcome for hours! Hands down, best customer service Ive had in years, and made my friends birthday great! Delicious food and great drink selection 🙂

Today we went for lunch about 2pm, it wasnt busy. Drink and food order went in shortly after sitting down but the good service stopped there. A different employee brought over our food and we still hadnt seen our server to ask for some ketchup. We werent checked on until our glasses were empty and we were done eating. I politely asked for a box when we were and then proceeded to watch our server handle 2 different take out orders passing us both times and stand behind the back POS counter talking to other employees for about 10 min. When she did bring the box and our check she stood waiting at the table for my boyfriend to put his card down like she was afraid we were going to dine and dash. I was mortified. We wouldve left no tip but the kitchen was on point and the food was great. The server didnt deserve the tip.

I want to like this place, I really do. They have a variety of food, the place looks cozy, Ive always had great service, and they have awesome beers on tap.The main issue is the food. The price is solid for the portion you get, which is a lot, but when that food is so incredibly bland, the quantity is unnecessary.Ive tried multiple dishes here and each seem to miss the mark as far as flavor is concerned. Its a real shame because with just a bit more of a bold approach to the spices, this establishment would be dominating the longview area.Mac n cheese and their spaghetti are so flavorless that youre just eating bland wet pasta. Their chipotle clam pasta has absolutely no chipotle flavor should be called clam shell pasta instead because thats essentially all youll get. Bites of bland pasta and just empty shell shrapnel. Absolutely no clam, just empty shells that have chipped and mixed in, waiting to destroy you like a landmine. (Seriously becareful when you eat that dish.)Id go into depth how bad their steaks are as well but to be fair, you cant expect amazing steak at a small family restaurant.Overall, I really hope they fix their food. They might have just gotten a new cook or something because I could have swore this place was a lot tastier a few years ago. Their steak frites were super well done back then. Tons of flavor and the presentation made heads turn.Please find a new cook if thats the case. Good luck.

The food was freaking fantastic!!!! My husband and I went for my birthday and had the best burger in Longview and the steak frittes are my new favorite meal!

Honestly some of the best food in town. After my surgery I went here for some good pick me up comfort food. It was a peaceful environment, very clean. Staff was limited but did their very best to seat and sanitize. 10 our of 10 in my opinion.

Sat at a table in the bar last night and after 15 minutes: had not even been acknowledged let alone no menus, no offer of beverages to get us started. And, yes, they did see us.We happily spent $125 down the street at Urban Saloon instead and it was one of the best meals weve had, not just in Longview. Ever. Will follow-up this review with a stellar review for Urban Saloon. Gotta love unfortunate incidents that turn out so perfect!
