If you’re searching google for the best veterinarian in the business, stop your search and call these guys. We suffered through the recent tornado in Weld County and had a horse that was cut up as result of the flying debris. Dr. Yurek was on-scene literally before the sheriff’s dept. As a farmer, I come into contact with numerous ancillary businesses that support me as a producer, most have top-notch customer service, but none of them come close to VetweRx. Their concern and compassion for the well-being of our animals is unrivaled. This is the vet practice that all others should be measured by. Thank you Dr. Yurek for your kindness, compassion and professionalism! This was truly the bright spot on a dark day.
Love these guys! They all are great. You call and they come. I have used them for many years now and they have help me with all my horses. They are honest, very knowledgable, and compassionate. I wouldn’t call anyone else
Best vets in the area hands down. They have kept my upper level Dressage horse sound and happy for several years now. They are honest and kind and have amazing skills for diagnosing lameness. They are a part of my team and have bent over backwards for me and my horses. Highly recommend!!
To bad their respect for animal life doesnt extend to humans. Had one of their trucks blow past me weaving between lanes doing at LEAST 90 in a 65mph zone up hwy 287. Slow down!!!
Drs Finley, Yurek and Smith helped our silly young horse immensely this weekend and we are very grateful! They went above and beyond (in the middle of the night, of course!) -- both Dr Yurek and Dr Smith actually returned my initial call within 10 minutes of my leaving a message, and Drs Smith and Finley drove out personally to meet with us at a location near where wed been riding. Dr Smith drew blood immediately and Dr Finley left to run a chemistry panel on it (the results of which we got 30 minutes later and were much better than we had feared!), sedated and intubated our horse on the spot so we could get fluids and medication into him promptly.Dr Smith was with us the entire time, administered the fluids and meds we needed, and remained very patient, calm and professional throughout the entire process -- even when a nearby barn manager came out to see what the heck was going on and wasnt very polite about it.Calling an emergency vet for your horse in the middle of the night is never fun, but these guys made the process as painless and uneventful as possible considering the circumstances, and Dr Smiths calm, kind demeanor kept us from feeling too stressed out during the intubation process. He patiently answered all of my questions as he worked (sorry, haha) and afterward, we felt like wed gotten a good education from him that will help us keep our horses healthier during our many adventures (and even possibly save a life) in the future -- invaluable.Dr. Smith responded promptly to our 4 am text messages later that night and gave us some advice that worked really well. He checked in again to see how our horse was doing the next morning and again at mid-day.Our big buddy is doing great 36 hours later, and came through the entire process with only some mild discomfort. Things could have gotten soooo much worse without prompt medical assistance...Thank you, VetWerx Equine, we are extremely grateful!
Best veterinarians I have ever seen. I have worked with Vetwerx for three years and will not recommend anybody else. Their attention to their clients, dedication to their craft and care for the animals is unparalleled. Vetwerx listens to the client, advocates for the horse and above all will do ANYTHING for their horses. I have dealt with everything from routine maintenance, emergency calls in the middle of the night, the worst lacerations I have ever seen and prepurchase exams and theyll never fail in their thoroughness and reliability. I trust them 100% and my horses benefit from every interaction. Best vets in the business.
Dr Yurek responded to recip mare that looked like a founder but turned out to be a very rare reproductive condition. Luckily he identified the problem, we saved the mare and the foal.
