Just a wonderful experience. I was lucky to have Stephany shave my head and trim up my beard. She was wonderful and really put a lot of time and effort into making me look my best. I always appreciate when people pay attention to details and do quality work.All the other staff was super friendly. I will definitely be going back.

This was our go to place, but the past 4 experiences we’ve had here haven’t been great. My son who is 4 came in for a routine 15-20 minute haircut that turned in to 55 minutes due to the fact the lady doing his hair cut stopped and answered the phone upwards of 15 times and went in the back a few times as well. I asked her to do a line on the side of his head and a Mohawk which neither of them was done. I would of asked her to do it at the end but didn’t want to spend another 30 minutes there. Super frustrating.

While the haircut turned out great the barber was way too rough. He almost ripped off a mole on my scalp with the clippers, dug the comb too harshly into my scalp and sliced my ear pretty severely with the straight razor. There were several people there who were very happy with their experience but I wasnt and wont be going back.

Big and spacious barbershop with a modern open-plan design and retro decorations. Several chairs and anywhere between a a couple to several barbers depending on the day. Originally walk-ins only, they have transitioned to requiring appointments (which I think is more convenient).Definitely not a salon — so head elsewhere if that’s what you want. Great lathers, straight razor shaves and men’s haircuts with well trained barbers. Prices are slightly more expensive than other places in the area but the experience is worth it. Plus they give discounts to seniors, children and military servicemen.

My first visit to the barbershop and it was absolutely wonderful. I went in for a straight razor cut and beard trim. The results were wonderful and it was so enjoyable. This was by far the worst haircut my husband has ever received. He came in with a specific, and rather easy paircut for a faux hawk, with a faded side and longer top. The woman cut him bangs, with the too part being at least two inches shorter than he wanted and did the choppiest fade Ive ever seen.This was done the day before he had a high profile interview, which the woman was informed about. If she didnt know how to do the cut, she should have said so, instead of ruining his hair. We will never return to this place, and are now desperately trying to find someone who can make it at least look like a toddler didnt attack his head.

My facial hair is lopsided and uneven after a beard trim here. Way too much of my moustache was cut off as well. I definitely looked better walking in than out.

My new go to barber. They dont rush you in and out, but they give a quality haircut at a fair price.

Went to get a haircut and left with a patchy “fade” on both sides and a skewed hairline. The lady I got was pretty heavy handed and nicked me. She seemed extremely unexperienced. Cut your hair with the other barbers, at least they look more experienced. Their clients looked way more satisfied with their haircuts.

5$ haircuts for $25.......Second time going here and the second time they completely messed up my hair. The lady didn’t seem to even want to be working, very rude, my fade was uneven, one side of my line up was higher then the other and she left hair longer in some places. Ended up going home and shaving everything down to a 1. Never coming here again! do not come here unless you want to drive back to have them fix there mistakes more then once....pathetic

Awesome service! Elias did great work! Really took his time and I didn’t feel like he was rushing through the cut. Ive been to many places before and just felt like they were cutting so fast just to get the job done and always had imperfections. Elias made sure i was happy with how it looked! Ive had cuts by two different barbers at Gents and both did an excellent job.

They are good is just I told one of the girls to cut the sides and nothing on the top but she cut some of the top and a mid fade and I was very disappointed

LONG BUT WORTH THE READ: y’all need to stop playing and get your haircut here. Best barbershop in the state. All the barbers get down, no doubt, but I gotta give a shout out to Stephany. Always giving me the clean fades! Their setup is dope. TVs everywhere. Todo entretenido while I get the cut. The hospitality? No’mbre. A1. A customer had to get his wallet from his car and asked if he could leave his kid in there while he ran out to get his wallet. Child started crying and the barber picked up the kid to console him like the kid was his own! I’m telling y’all! Schedule an appointment here. Prices are great too! Especially for the quality of the service. If you go, tell them I sent you. You will get absolutely nothing out of it because I’m a nobody there, but it’ll be funny. They’ll be like “what’s a Zamir?” But honestly, great service for a great price. And es pura raza too, so you know they’ll take care of you. Caile. Highly recommend.

Fair pricing compared to a lot of other places that charge a ridiculous amount for a mediocre cut. The Gentleman’s Barbershop give a great service that you feel comfortable walking into. They had rocky playing when I was in which was great. Clean place. I walked in after not getting a hair cut in over six months and walked out with a clean style that was better than I had expected it to be. I’ll be back for sure.

Not many people can cut my hair as nice as they did. I like to let my hair grow for a couple of months then get a cut. This shop handled everything all the other shops failed at including my darn cowlick I hate. I work next to this shop and now have a great place to go and convince.

It seems to be a repeat issue with them not listening to what you want. The second time I even brought in a picture of what I wanted but with that first buzz of the clippers.. the damage was done. The lady cutting my hair was also incredibly rude. Go at your own RISK!

Went in for a haircut just to try it out, I normally go to platteville but do to covid it’s been hard to find a place open not only did I witness incredible customer service but also watched the barber thoroughly sanitize an clean the area. Which makes a difference at this time Christian did my cut simple fade but his professionalism an attention to detail was great. I highly recommend this shop it was a great experience an will definitely be back.

Straight razor, awesome beard trim, great fade and a little massage at the end to cap things off. Definitely recommend and will be back to see Eli.

This is by far one of the worst experiences with a barber. I brought in a picture and explained detailed what i wanted he didnt listen and he completly destroyed my hair now i have to shave it. He didnt listen, he didnt do anything that i wanted and then he gives me 10 dollars off my next haircut like i would ever go back to him. Only reason you get 1 star is because you were nice and i liked the theme of the place.
