This was a shop with great vibes. Everyone had talent. I have been in the hair industry for 30 + years and I have never seen such great international talented men that work together for one mission and that was to give top service to all clients. The place was easy to find had great parking and allows for online appointment booking. If you are a busy professional this is a good shop to get a great cut. I have been to a lot of shops but this one has potential. They have a lot very professional barbers.

My husband has been going to Cut & Style since it was Against the Grain and has been taking our son as well. We’ve had the pleasure of being cut by two of the barbers currently there, Chet and now, exclusively, Ari.I have to say... I NEVER thought a woman would cut my husbands hair, but she has such a skill and gentle touch. She cuts my hair (about one a month) and I often catch myself falling asleep! She is such a sweet and gentle spirit. I am comfortable conversing with her or just sitting and getting my hair cut.She also does an outstanding job on my sons hair! His cuts keep him the talk of the playground! Some of his friends have started getting designs cut into their heads too!I’ve recommended several friends and family members to Ari as well. And they also go to her exclusively and regularly.I must add, we ALWAYS have an appointment and the most we’ve ever had to wait is 15 minutes. I’m a planner and keep biweekly appointments for my son and book myself on her booking app when I have time.With all that being said, I can honestly and highly recommend Ari. Book yourself an appointment and let her take exceptional care of you too!

I discovered this shop after dealing with a bunch of barbershops and barbers who aren’t organized, don’t keep their appointments, or mess up your haircut trying to give you what they want instead of what you want.At Cut and Style, the barbers take their time and make sure they are cutting your hair the way YOU ask. The barbers set appointments and stick to them and give you a great barbershop experience.My barber is Burn, but every barber in the shop cuts well, is friendly and personable.PLUS its near a lot of food places!

Women cutting their hair off is so taboo, but times are changing! When I considered cutting my hair off, my fear was maintaining my femininity. It took three barbers before I was able to locate Ari. Something about sitting in a women’s chair was reassuring and I felt safe.I love that I am to make an appointment using an app, that clearly states her prices. She communicates when there are delays and I walk out the shop each week feeling confident. Yari is my barber. I really love her cuts because she goes above and beyond for you, making sure every thing is detailed and in line. She takes her time and makes everything precise. I’ve been to other barbers and they don’t cut me like she does.

Has credentials and business license in front of barbershop so you know it’s legitimate the moment you walk in. Cut &style is by far the best shop I experience in long beach, the atmosphere was welcoming each person greeted you when you walked in. The shop owner was really cool and offered me a water,he was kind, and friendly the wait isnt long if you an appointment you walk right in. JIMMY was my barber and he was extremely great he cur my hair the way o asked for it he only been cutting for a week lol jk him and all the barbers are talented I will refer this place to any and everyone the prices are reasonable and you get quality cuts

I did a walk in with Yari today and it was fantastic. She put in a lot of time and effort towards cutting and you could tell. She mentioned how walk ins normally don’t work and would suggest getting an appointment.

I take my13 yr old grandson there because I love the old school atmosphere and the professionalism of everyone who works there. I went there to have my own hair cut soon after they opened and Jordan was my barber that day. I can remember saying a prayer for their success when I left. He also is Adrians barber and were very pleased with his service.

This barbershop is a complete rip off. The charge for a haircut is $50 and the cut was below average at best. Nothing that warrants the excessive charge. I would stay away from them

This place is great with great styles. I don’t know if the owner don’t pay them or something because the pass three weeks I have been calling and every time I call they say there barbers are not in and they won’t take you in till later afternoon then when I call in the afternoon all of a sudden they don’t have Availabilities anymore more

Shop chairs have been newly replaced and the vibe is very chill and comfortable. TVs all over. I would recommend making an appointment because the barbers get busy, but they also welcome walk ins.

If you have straight hair, make sure to get Chet. Chet really does a great job, but when I had my hair cut by Mr. Q, he messed up a few times and didnt get it the way I wanted. Ive also tried K.G., hes better than Mr. Q but wasnt anything too special. AVOID MR Q IF YOU HAVE STRAIGHT HAIR!!!

Its an awesome shop, reasonably priced and the skills are amazing. My only grip is that they need to be opened when the signs says they open its all about convenience because you dont want false advertisment flying around. Other than that keep up the sweet work!

To whom it may concern: my son was in this establishment for his second hair cut. The first time we walked in, and was told and explained how it work and its better to have an appointment. I agreeded. a nice gentleman by the name of Wayman saw my son which I was very thankful as we were walk- ins. The next hair was scheduled with Wayman as I was told the 1st time better to make appt. I texted, no response, I then called and made the 2nd hair cut appt for 9am on a Sunday 1030 rolls around no Wayman insight yari says I can see him I was again thankful, after she handed me her card and explained the days and times she is there. So this appointment for 1pm February 9th. Yari texts me at 1251 she was gonna be 15 to 20 minutes late. Ok she walks in no sorry, how are you, nothing. My son shows her the picture I sent via text to him and she ignored what he asked her to do. Hair in back way too short almost bald and she tapered the back which he told her to just line it up her words Im going to tapper it anyway cause it last longer. Really! how about you listen to the customer.I will never refer anyone to this place nor will I bring my child there again. No time management skills and they are unresponsive to what u are asking for. This does not reflect the other barbers as I only had the experience with the 2 that I mentioned. Disappointed!
