Brought my Chevy HHR for an oil leak .John the owner called me later in the day with the location of two leaks, an oil pan leak and a timing chain cover leak .He gave me a cost estimate and time needed for the repair .My car was repaired to my satisfaction in the time promised and within the quoted cost estimate.Its important to have a repair shop that is honest, knowledgeable and with good people. You get that with owner John, a very cordial and respectful person and good mechanics in Chris and Pablo.I will gladly return to Long Beach Auto Clinic for any future repairs or service

John got on the phone and told me I will take a look at your car like if it was for me He then told me when the dealer drop the car and then he text me pictures and his thoughts about the car. Theres not enough stars to rate this wonderful shop. Needed to have torque, trans and engine mounts replaced 11-25-19. The car was running so rough and noisy, I was panicked. But I got it to the shop and John (the owner) quickly diagnosed what was happening and called me before noon for the authorization to do the needed work. It was fixed and ready to pick up within a few hours. Its running so smooth and quiet now! Theyre very quick, professional and efficient at Long Beach Auto Clinic. John is a pleasure to do business with. My whole family goes here for our repair needs and I highly recommend this shop to everyone in need of their services.

Took my car a few weeks ago for back breaks replacement. According to the owner i believe his name is John he called me to say i needed new drums. I agreed for him to fix whatever i needed. According to them they put new drum and break. Well my car continue having a noise.I took my car again for the noise and to replace my breaks again but he said it was the axel and something else. I took it to another shop and there they showed me that my breaks and drums where never replaced and i got charged for something that was not done.The mechanic went to this shop to tell them to don’t do this things to people. Specially us woman that don’t know anything about cars. The Owner John was very unprofessional and threatened him with his dog. He was very disrespectful towards my mechanic calling him a dirty mechanic. I wish i can show the pictures of my car to show everyone how this shop works.

I went to long beach auto clinic after going to two other mechanics and the dealer.The two other mechanics wanted more than 2000 dollars to fix what they thought was the problem and the dealer wanted to charge me 1800 dollars just to get inside the engine,after spending more than 1000 dollars trying to fix it on my own i took it to John at the long beach auto clinic left it at his shop and within two hours he found a cracked spark plug.He told me to take it home and drive it around a couple days before he would charge anything. I drove it around and the check engine light hasnt come back on after 100 miles of driving it .he only charged me 104 dollars !!!!! finding an honest mechanic is very hard to do I finally found one I would recommend him to all my friends and family.

This is a scam, half these reviews are fake, and they mess your car up even more, also want to point out..Don’t buy any cars from KEY MOTORING AUTO, they sell you half broken cars that work for a week then break down, and If they refer you to this mechanic don’t go take it to an actual DEALER.

If you want an honest, knowledgeable mechanic this is the place. All I needed was a timing and carburetor adjustment. For which he charged a ridiculously small fee. He practically did it for free. And John is always available and professional.Update: After having my vehicle for almost 6 months with little or no progress I showed up with a tow truck to claim my vehicle. John was not only unhappy he was belligerent. Very unprofessional. Especially as a man, talking to a woman the way he did was upsetting and a little scary.He was not able or capable of completing the work he promised in a timely manner. Instead of just stating he could not work on an older vehicle or couldn’t figure out the modifications I wanted, he just stalled and stalled. I would have accepted his honesty and figured out another way. Instead, I spent several thousand dollars on rental cars waiting for my vehicle to be finished. It is still in pieces in my garage as I spent the funds in rental cars. I should have reported him and I should have sued him. Instead I just wanted to move on with my life.

Originally I spoke with Larry and now his son John has taken over. All I can say is that I trust LBAC. No BS and trying to sell services you do not need.
