I’ve been an ME customer for over a year. I normally make an appointment using the ME app but I called since LA issued new COVID restrictions. The day of the massage, I received a reminder text an hour before the appointment with a link for contactless check in. When I arrived at the shop, I clicked the link to check in and waited in my car until I was called in. As always, the front office was super friendly. My massage therapist, Wendell, is the best and the only one I trust to work on me since my last back surgery.
I had a session with Juanita and she was awesome. She touch all the problem area. I was so relaxed after my session that I fell asleep right away. She comes highly recommended. My husband and I will be going there again!

Janine is very professional, trustworthy, knowledgeable and skilled at locating and correcting problematic areas of inflammation and helping get circulation activated! I highly recommend her massage therapy for those who want to get problem areas moving and feeling better. Also, the staff and management are so accommodating, professional, and delightful to work with. I appreciate the fact that they take COVID-19 precautions and have many clinics in most states, so I can schedule an appointment no matter where I live or visit. They offer a high level of professionalism and safety.
Awesome massage and great customer service
I was finally able to make an appointment in the app, only to drive 20 miles further than my closest location and find out that this location is still closed. They do have hours of operation but only for merchandise sales; no massages. I tried calling in advance to verify my appointment but there was no answer and the voicemail is full. Which by the way, if you do have limited hours and services, and you see an appointment come through, why wouldnt you proactively call the customer to cancel? I realize that things are very fluid at the moment, but if you cant keep the app up to date, block the appointment feature and only take appointments by phone! This was very disappointing after driving twenty miles for a much needed, long overdue massage.
Ive been here several times and have really tried to give it a chance, but the front staff is very unprofessional and three times the therapists have been late. Im not sure how they stay in business, but it is a very stressful place.
I made an appointment for a facial. No one called to confirm the appointment. I have called a number of times. There’s no answer and no way to leave a message. I’m highly disappointed in Massage Envy’s lack of reliable communication...especially during this time. At least, have employees to answer calls and questions. The website should also be updated with accurate hours of availability. Customers should not be able to make an appointment if the location is closed. I’ve been contemplating ending my membership for quite some time. This is the straw that broke the camel’s back. They are taking customer’s money, but not practicing fair business.
Ive requested for my membership to be cancelled due to covid and now Ive moved out of the state. Im told by the staff and managers that the only way I can cancel my membership is to email Marie (no last name) Assistant Area Manager. I emailed Marie and I got no reply. Soon after $120.00 was taken from my account from massage envy. I emailed her again asking for my membership to be cancelled and a refund. She replied to my email offering me different options other than cancellation and refund. I told her no I want to cancel and get a refund. She never replied back to that email and hasnt called me back. I continue to call massage envy and they take my name and number and Marie never calls me back. I have no idea why no one is calling me back or resolving this issue. Very unprofessional. I wont be going back to massage envy.11/14/20In response the owners response. Ive called that number for 2 weeks straight and spoke to a location manager. They say and do the same thing. They say sorry, take down my name and number, say that the owner will call me back. The owner and no one else has called me back. Last week one of the massage envy employees said that she refunded my money and I still havent received my money! They are theives, liars and very unprofessional.

This is my first day back since the covert and I have to say that the owner Tanya really went out of her way to meet all of the protocols and logistical and legal policies for some procedures to get us back to work it was wonderful glad to be back Janine Conway medical massage therapist.
Will never ever walk into this location ever again. There is always confusion as to what they “say” they do and what it is they actually do. I put in a cancellation request for the membership spoke to 2 managers and front desk people all assuring me if I cancelled the membership I’d have 3 months to use up the accumulated time I pre-paid for already called in today to find out there are no notes of this and I have 0 accumulated hours now. All that appears is a cancellation request in November Huge disappointment they already took the funds out and know there’s not one note of what they guaranteed me. Can not believe after a year of paying $70 each month this is what happens extremely disappointed.If you do go into this location just be careful and make sure to get proof of what they say because clearly they do not keep their word.

David is a game changer. Ive had lots of massages before and this is by far the best. Money well spent. The rest of the staff is kind and courteous as well. Ill definitely be back.Update: I gave a friend a credit to use for a massage but saw that Massage Envy charged my credit card without my permission instead of using the credit (and I was still charged the $10 fee to transfer the credit.) One month later and I still dont have a refund.

My husband bought me membership for my birthday and I love going there once a month! I like that if you cant make it one month you still get to keep that months massage as a credit and use it at a later time or gift it! The customer service is great.They are always very friendly and accommodating when I come in or if I need to change my appointment.

These people are thieves. I bought a gift card. They charged me twice and never put money on the gift card. I would understand if it was a mistake but after calling them for weeks, they have still not offered a refund and told me to go to my bank...and also no apology. They are happy to keep my money. The most unprofessional and incompetent customer service I’ve ever seen. Please avoid this location. They don’t have any idea what they’re doing.

I have been a member for the last couple of years. All was well in the beginning but most recently the service has been terrible. The most recent experience was when in December of 2018 I submitted a contract cancellation form for my mother because she would be having knee surgery. I personally handed this form in and was told I would receive and email copy confirming it had been submitted. I never received such an email but I still trusted they had done their job. Much to our surprise not only they not submit this form and continue to charge my elderly mother, but they claim to have no record of it. I went in personally to speak with a manager about this matter but they refuse to reimburse my mother. I can definitely say they are extremely disorganized as I have witnessed them looking for misplaced papers, have waited days for a return call, didnt receive a return call from the owner after I requested one, and even the manager I spoke with in person admitted to me their record room was a big mess and she would try to find my mothers file.Before this experience, I called to booke a massage for myself and explained I had not gone in a while because I was pregnant and had bad morning sickness but was not feeling better for a massage. When I arrived and was already in their tranquility room, five minutes before my session was to begin, they came in and said my therapist was not liscenced to give prenatal massages. When they called the day prior to confirm my appointment, I reminded them I was pregnant. Yet they overlooked this fact and didnt catch their own mistake till five minutes before my session. This was to be a 90 minute session which my husband and I planned for so that he would be able to stay at home with our three children. All they offered was to give me a free 60 minute session. Had I canceled 5 minutes before my session, I would have gotten the full 90 minutes charged. How is it that they can only do 60 minutes. That was not fair at all. They wasted 90 minutes of mine and my husbands time.Im extremely disappointed in their recent front desk service and have also witnessed the employees themselves on personal calls outside the establishment complaining about management. These people need to be honorable and do the right thing. I will be moving forward and reporting them.
Three words, Debbie, Debbie, DEBBIE. Ive been a member at Massage Envy for two years now and have been through dozens of masseuses, but none like Debbie. My line of work leaves me sore and bent by the end of the day, but every time I come in for a massage, Debbie seems to find exactly whats hurting and how to fix it. Shes an experienced, versatile masseuse/therapist and puts SO much into the care of her clients, shes a miracle worker. The staff is pleasant and the environment is always clean, warm and welcoming, great location!
I have been going here for about a year now and have had facials done by a few ppl there and I have just fallen in love with Kristy. She is the best I call it my therapy time. The rest of the staff there is great as well always to nice and friendly. Definitely recommend going and trying it out if you go for a facial ask for Kristy and if you go for a massage Bam is great.
The service itself is very good and accommodating to every individuals personal preferences, from gender of masseuse to the firmness of pressure and dressing down to comfort level.However, you pay for an hour but only receive 50 minutes of massage as they use the first minutes when you first arrive in the room and prepare.The worst part of this is the membership. It costs less than one-time massages, but they describe it as a membership when its really a 12 month contract. They also say that you can cancel at any time, but they dont say that only within the first month at any time. After that, youre stuck paying for 12 months even if you ask to cancel.While they do not force your signature on their extremely worded contract, they do lie and do not tell you the whole truth of their cancellation policy.

Friendly staff and very clean facility. Techniques and pressure levels vary greatly, so make sure that you take note of the names of masseuses that you like and dont like and book appointments accordingly. Last minute, whoevers available appointments can be very hit or miss.
I have been a member for a while and have to say that the owner (Tanya) of this location along with her staff are as unprofessional as any establish I have been at. I avoid this location and go to others to avoid this location. Their customer service is the worst I have ever seen. They make you feel like why are you here rather than wanting to make sure your are relaxed and taken care of. I finally am out of my year long membership and canceling today. I would AVOID this location and Seal Beach at all cost.
I loved it. A friend of mine is a member and she was able to transfer her service to me and a third friend so we could get a free service. The location is dow clean and welcoming. The massage rooms and waiting rooms are clean and inviting. I used to belong to Burke Williams and this massage was just a good if not better than any one I had there. I would still go to Burke Williams because they also have steam rooms, sauna, hot tubs and showers all included in the price and they offer other services like scrubs, soaks ans manicures. But if you are looking just for a massage this is the place to go. And ask for Adriel, he massaged every part of my body and it felt delicious.
Hi, Massage Eveny Long Beach Town Center is a great place in a great lcation, plenty of good parking spaces surrounded by restaurants and places to shop. I begin my experience with a warm and pleasant greeting from front staff. The rooms are private, clean and comfortable. Davids massages are enjoyable, therapeutic and relaxing. David has been a part of my health team approximately three months now. My pain and muscle soreness has decreased significantly as my range of motion has improved. My time and money are well spent here.
Great place to hang out and meet people but I can get busy though on the weekends. The plaza outside the movie theater is comfortable and homey with an outdoor fireplace, playground and in the summertime an interactive water feature.
I recieved a gift certificate for three massages for my birthday. I could not use it during the time noted on the gift certificate due to a surgery. I called and spoke to Josh to request an extension. I was told that I would have to pay for a monthly membership fee of $49 to use my gift certificate. I felt it was very poor customer service. I live close by and they lost a customer just to make a few bucks.
Tried canceling my membership several times and they continue to give me the run around. I had to cancel my credit card after 5 months of trying and they will not refund me anything. When I did have a time I could make the service was below my expectations. Seems to be a total scam!! I now go to the one in Bixby Knolls. Staff is nice and the service is hands down better but now do COD to avoid that again!!.
Enjoyed getting massages from here. Only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because they make it impossible to cancel your membership. I moved back to North Dakota for work. Let them know ahead of time and sent in proof and thought everything was good to go. They called me about a YEAR later and told me there was a problem with my account and that it would be going to collections if I didn’t take care of it. After hours arguing with them they finally figured it out. So hopefully it stays that way.
This is the worst customer service. I called ahead of time and requested a specific message. I was told that I would be able to get that specific message and they scheduled me for the time available. However when I arrived I was asked to get a facial instead because they had no one to give the specific message. I explained that I called ahead of time and was told that I would be able to get this message at the time scheduled. I was then told I could get a facial or schedule for a later time. I was never given an apology for their mistake and they were quite aggressive with redirecting me to another service instead of accommodating me with the service I desired.

I have had literally hundreds of massages over the years and I am here to tell you this was the absolute worst massage I have ever received. The masseuse (Moon) gave me a half baked massage on my shoulders, neck and very little else. No legs, feet, back, head or any other body part. Not once did she ask me to lay on my back so she could massage the front of my body. To compound matters, she gave me 50 minutes when I paid for one hour. Her lack of attention, skills and massage techniques were absolutely unacceptable. I wouldnt send my enemy to this place, more or less a friend. In addition, they seem to think they are giving you a special introductory offer of $49.00 when their regular price is $98. With todays economy in this competitive market there are places out there that give you a REAL quality massage for half the price. I walked out of there feeling NO better than when I walked in. In fact, I felt worse throwing away $49.00 for NOTHING! I would have rather given it to some needy person on the street. I wouldnt go back there if they said it was FREE! My bit of advice. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! You have been WARNED.

This was my first time there and I was not happy with Marie. The whole time all I could think of was Is this her first day?. She didnt know how to adjust the head pillow. She didnt know what fragrant the lotion was that she was using. She didnt use enough lotion, I think she was trying to conserve it! She didnt concentrate on the areas I specifically wrote down and I was disturbed with the frequent pauses, I thought she had left the room. Then when I flipped to my back and she was rubbing my arms I looked at her and she was just sitting there not into it, just laziness.... I felt like I paid to have someone rub lotion on me.....
I have been for massages and this time I decided to have a facial and I saw Roxanne. I have been having some breakouts along my chin area and she cleared these up! I highly recommend her she is awesome!

Came here to watch Les Mis. We were in theatre 25, and there was only 1 entrance into the screen, so coming out of the movie was a bit slow. The seats to recline slightly which was nice.When you buy your tickets, the people at the kiosk will tell you the % of people that will be in the theatre for the time of the movie you are watching. So, that was nice to know, if youre the type that doesnt like to watch a movie with a a whole ton of other people.

This is an ok outdoor mall. It has an ok selection of stores and restaurants. The outer perimeter of stores can be quite a walk when you consider that you have to walk through the parking lot to get to them. The parking situation can be really bad on weekends.

Go in to relax and come out a stress case. I have had the membership for 5 months and in that time Massage Envy has cancelled on me THREE TIMES (with little/no advanced notice) when I show up. I cancelled my membership April 1st so I have until May 1st to use the last massage. I had an appointment on April 11th at 130pm and I get a call at 1230pm that they need to cancel. I had already taken off time from work in hopes to get a relaxing massage and they cancelled. So I rescheduled for today (April 18th) at 1230pm. I show up at 1230pm and they said my masseuse no longer works here and I can reschedule. They never called me to notify me of this. I got a missed call at 7am from them, but didnt think anything of it because they left no message, and also What company calls a customer at 7am???? I told them this has happened to me now THREE TIMES in 5 months and I would rather just have a refund for the last massage rather than continue to come in for massages I dont get. They said that 2 of their managers quit this week so there is no acting manager. There is a person who is training to be manager but he is not authorized to do anything and he refused to come talk to me. The front desk lady said that if either of them gave me a refund that they would be fired, so Im basically out of luck, but I can come back at 4pm today to get a massage. I told her that I have to pick up my kids from school at 3pm so I cannot come back. According to them: Too bad for me, I will just have to lose out because I signed a contract saying that I would be a customer for 6 months. Another thing that really upsets me is that one time I tried to change my appointment and they said that since I didnt have 24 hours notice, I would either have to show up or lose a massage session. So I cannot cancel but they can. This is VERY VERY frustrating. So I called my credit card to dispute the charge because if I get cancelled on a 4th time, Im gonna be really pissed off.

This mall is OK but I left my bike on the bike lock and when I went back to my bike, there was an officer standing in front of my bike telling me that my bike was stolen and he was yelling me he was gonna give me a ticket for taking the bike but he just gave me a warning.
