I had the wax specialist Amaya(if that’s how you spell it sorry) & she was super sweet ! Made me feel so comfortable for that to only be my second wax! She even test the wax out on her arm to make sure the temperature is good for you. That’s so caring. She’s now my go to wax specialist I’m very satisfied with the work also I love it

This review is long over due for Gianna! I have seen others at this location and will not see anyone else but Gianna. She is special person, not just with what she does but in general. I love her! She has a magic touch and makes your session as painless as possible and always make you feel comfortable. I will follow her if she ever leaves!

My sister and I have been coming to EWC Lombard for about a year now! We both adore and love seeing Jess! she makes our service fast easy and painless. The other employees here are dolls as well! Everyone is friendly and absolutely sweet! Thank you Jess and everyone for always making us comfortable!

This was my first time being waxed at this center! I have been a regular at the Orland Park location for quite some time, but I was out at the Yorktown Mall and decided I should stop in. I saw Gianna and OMG! She is the KINDEST, most PLEASANT, and gentle waxer. I couldnt have been more pleased with my results. If you are a first timer, I highly recommend her - she talks you through everything and makes pleasant conversation the entire time. Her room was neat and tidy, she didnt make the process feel rushed (even though they have to move quickly), and she recommended products from the new line to me as well. And Karen at the front desk was so sweet, accommodating, and just awesome all around. I will definitely be back to Lombard EWC. Thank you, ladies!

Gianna is the best ever. Always there when I need her the most! Very professional and her work speaks for it self. Any part of the body she waxes she makes it the least painful and beautiful! I totally recommend her!

This is the first place Ive ever been to get a wax. My first appointment was with Rebecca and she was very patient and gentle. Ive been going to her almost a year now with no regrets. The front desk staff is always bright and cheery. An overall great experience.

The employees were very nice and the quick service was great. However, the wax was so hot I am left with burn marks on my face two days later. I know it has to be a certain temperature but surely not hot enough to peel skin off my face!

Always easy to get an appointment and all the staff members and waxing specialists are wonderful!!

What a great experience I had at this location! Not only was the front desk associate very polite and welcoming, but my tech Gianna did an awesome job. She was very accommodating and had a sweet personality. Due to a really bad experience that I had at a different location, I was ready to give up on European Wax Center but this location was able to gain my trust again. Tiffany was fantastic. Very gentle and very nice. Best wax specialist that I have had. I have been going to European wax centers for about 3 years now and have always had a good experience. It is always nice to know that I will come away with a good experience even before I go.

My daughter has been getting waxed here, has seen Gianna and Nicole, both are great at what they do, both personable and make sure my daughter is comfortable and looking her best. Deffo 5 stars!!

I wasn’t able to rate the waxing services because at 2 p.m. on a rainy Sunday when I went in with my two daughters to inquire about eyebrow waxing for all three of us, I was told by the two young women at the store, they were closing early. When this location closes and the same two women are looking for new jobs, I just bet they will remain completely oblivious to how they are their own worst problem. Yorktown is losing stores and there are two other places in the mall that do hair removal and these lackluster ladies had no time for three paying customers and there were no apologies or incentives to come back. Good riddance to businesses that are managed like this!

I am very happy with my experience. The front desk staff was polite and accommodated me as a walk-in appointment. My waxer was Susie. She was pleasant, kept me informed, and we had a wonderful conversation. I am usually nervous when I go into waxing appointments but felt comfortable with her. Thanks, Susie!

I have been going to EWC at Yorktown for almost a year, and have had nothing but a good experience each time. Nicole is the best esthetician I’ve ever gone to. She is extremely nice and personable and makes me feel comfortable every time.

I was really happy with how Tiffany waxed my brows. I’m pretty picky but thought she did a great job. I’ll be asking for her again next time! Alyssa also does a fantastic job and is really sweet.

I loved it. This was my first wax experience ever.! Going in I was so nervous. I heard mixed reviews about getting waxed. When I walked into the wax center I immediately felt welcomed. susie was my wax specialist. She talked me through everything and was straight forward with me. I love that she made sure I was comfortable with any and everything. best first experience ever. Made an appointment for next month!! They are great.

I will never return to this location again. I was 7 minutes late for the FIRST time ever and even apologized for being late. The front desk was nice but my tech was SO rude. I never felt so uncomfortable in my life. She started tweezing my brows without any warning and jerked my head side to side several times. She was so unwelcoming and you can hear her repeatedly huff and sigh. Surely, I am not the first person who was late and if you couldnt take me in, you should have just let me know.The front desk told me she would have a manager give me a call but of course, i never heard from anyone. I have been going to this place for several months because i really love their professional service but this appointment was so horrendous, it left me in tears. Shame on you for treating people this way.
