My hard drive crashed at the worst possible time. I walked in and was immediately helped! They catered to what I needed for my laptop and went above and beyond at meeting my expectations! They were able to save everything from my old hard drive which had very special pictures that I would be devastated if I lost! Super fast service, excellent communication and my laptop is running better than it was when I first bought it!! Will definitely use them again in the future!!

We took a iMAC to this location to have the hard drive replaced. The owner had it replaced within 24 hrs and it is working beautifully! He is also very affordable and made it worth it to keep the desktop instead of replacing it. Highly recommend!

So I just bought a refurbished toughbook from Proton and I just wanted to say how happy I am with the product and how great the customer service was. I got all my questions answered right away so that I could make sure the toughbook would meet the specs I need for work. They shipped the unit on the same day I made the payment and even gave me a free case to cary it in. They just have top notch customer service and that is sometimes hard to find these days. Oh and the price was very reasonable in my opinion. I am going to recommend them to the other guys at work for sure.

I bought a Fz-g1 toughpad on Amazon from Proton computers and when I received it it had an issue with barcode scanner, Proton stood beside me untill I was happy, Not only did I get a like brand new tablet with very low hours, I received a hand bracket with no charge a battery at 100% and a computer case. Friendly, Great service, reasonable prices and very knowledgeable staff. Mathew did an awesome job fixing my power socket on my HP laptop and cleared up encrypted files. Before leaving he asked me how I use my computer and after telling him he explained that without virus software protection and a VPN I was at high risk of hackers accessing my personal information. My husband accidentally stepped on the corner of my laptop destroying my screen. I took them my laptop on a Wednesday and by that Saturday it was fixed! Not only did they fix it but they upgraded my hard drive so my computer was better than before it was broken!! Ive already referred my father and brother in law to get the devices fixed!

I received two defective units from proton. They emailed me a shipping label and shipped two new ones within an hour. Got the machines the next day and they threw in free accessories for the trouble. Highly recommend due to their great customer service and willingness to go above and beyond.

Proton Computers Inc. (Lombard store location) was a great choice that my boyfriend and I made as far as looking for a great deal for a laptop. They have all kinds of computer equipment plus others. They have laptops and all kinds of other equipment such as keyboards, cell phone chargers, misc. computer parts, spare computer power cords, etc.The store was well organized, clean and we were greeted by Matt with friendliness, hastily and with professionalism. We are please at what he suggested for us to buy as well as our overall experience while there. If youre a college student, writer, etc. this would be a great place to find a good deal on either a laptop or a computer!

For the past 7 years they are The only place I go for computer parts and repair, not only is the staff kind and very knowledgeable they can guide you through any repairs part ordering ect, they also help local charities. I recently bought a hard drive and they included a few extra components and only asked for a donation towards the charity in return. Skip frys and go to the good guys at proton!

My Toshiba Laptop display was not coming. So I took my laptop to one of the leading Electronic Shop and they said LCD is broken and it would cost around $199 + Tax. So I kept at home and one of my friend suggested Proton Computers, Lombard which was quite a drive. So one day I fixed an appointment with Mat over there and showed my computer. After 30 min. one of the Technician comes and says LCD screen is good only inverter gone bad & it will cost $20/- to fix it. I readily told the technician to fix it. There was another problem with the speakers which was not working and they fixed it for free. Laptop works absolutely fine.The Guys over there are clean and true and dont want to rip customers.I will certainly go in Future, if I have any issue with my laptop.I highly recommend you to go there for any Computer/Laptop small or big repair. Proton Computers is a perfect small business to bring odd computer repairs and service requests to. Matt has always been polite and attentive to my needs. I would recommend them anytime.

This store will give you the worst buying experience ever. The staff is incompetent and couldnt answer simple questions about computers. When you walk inside, there are just piles of junk and electronics all over the place. The technicians are incredibly unorganized and I would never trust them to service anything.The owner is incredibly rude and untrustworthy. Save your time, money and a headache and go somewhere else for your computer needs.

This computer store is the best. I have never ever been ripped off by these people.They always keep to their word when they say that they are going to fix your computer for free. Manager is a total godly gifted chrisitan. He gave me three laptop computers for free and for no charge. So that is why proton computers is the best computer fixing and repairing store ever. The techs there are very highly trained at what they do. I think Jack Daniel Shurtz is very excellent at fixing and isolating computer issues. I will continue to do business with these guys. he also gave me an ibm thinkcentre s50 desktop computer. But it has a bad hard drive, But the doesnt mean anything because Proton Computers is great. I love this store. Techs are very higly skilled and trained and they have all of the certifications that most tech it guys do not. Excellent computer store and by far the best one that i have ever done business with. I am very blessed to be working there as well. When you need a computer fixed at any given time. You just take the machine to this store and the techs get right to work fixing issues with hard drives, pci wireless cards, graphics cards and soldering solutions are very good too. So that is why i will continue to do business with these people. Thanks again for hiring me and i hope to continue working for these people in the near future.
