I wish I could leave 0 stars.My mother brought her my prom dress to get my straps fixed from the first seamstress we went to, she brought her 2 different sized ribbon to make spaghetti straps. The owner had her go out and buy a different sized ribbon. When I picked up the dress 6 days later (3 days before prom), the straps were not what I wanted, they were thick not thin. She had sewn just the ribbon on the dress, and the straps were not even in the same place on both sides. I brought the dress the back the same day and she told me she would not fix it how I wanted it to be, it would take 10 hours, it would be ugly, and a waist of her time. When I asked for my money back for the botched job, she told me to try on the dress and show her what was wrong. I tried on the dress and she told me she placed the straps exactly where the previous seamstress had placed them, we had brought her the dress because the previous straps were already wrong. She called my mother and told her she could bring the straps back on friday (1 day before prom) and would fix them, but that she wouldnt fix them for me. I went to Davids Bridal in tears looking for a new dress, but the Davids Bridal Seamstresses fixed my dress (it was not their brand of dress) for the same price as Eastgate Cleaners, exactly how I wanted them, in less than an hour. Go to Davids Bridal, DO NOT GO HERE.

I have used this dry cleaner since it was J’s in OakBrook Terrace when I moved here 9 years ago. I would never go anywhere else. They are kind, professional cleaners for a great value! Eastgate Cleaners owners work hard to make their customers feel appreciated.

About $10 an item which i think is expensive but it was my first time going to the dry cleaners.

Wonderful business

Really bad service. I took three days worth of cloths in to be laundered and folded. I used there Same Day service. Cloths came back stuffed in a bag and nothing folded. socks were mismatched. All of my shirts and undershirts were not folded but stuffed in the bag - Dress shirts and under shirts. All will have to go back to another dry cleaners. The cloths didnt smell as if they were laundered at all.
