They sure are a joke yes pill pushers and money

I placed my first appointment back in january and had to wait a month for my first appointment in peru indiana. they wanted me to go to the next step so i made the earliest appointment available which happened to be at this location but it was also a month away. just got off the phone with them and they told me they needed to reschedule for another month. why is mental health not taken seriously by anyone? i reached out two months ago at a breaking point and now i’m being told i have to wait another month for help. ridiculous.

The only dr worth seeing there retired. They are pill pushers out to suck every penny possible out of you. No help at all. They do not listen to you or care.

Went on unit twice, one of the workers tried to get while me while I was in there and also underage. This place is a joke. If I’m mentally unstable, I expect the place I am going to to help me, not give me nightmares.

They have one actual doctor,l think, cant keep competent help, and are a money hungry facility that cares nothing about your mental health. They have all your case files from years back; however are unable or too worthless to go through them to see what another doctor prescribed or suggested.Have tried to get their billing department to contact me for over two months. I have left messages, with no calls returned. I have to wonder if there is actually a billing department on-site.Yet, they now have a monopoly over mental health centers for all counties within driving distance. Listed in my phone as 4-County Jokers!

I have been a client of 4 county for several months and they have always been willing to help me whenever I need. All I have to do is ask!

I went there when I was 15, let me just say, those times were VERY DARK. & My psychologist would see me once a month even after saying I was very depressed 😐😐 very narrow conversations. Would barely give me any help. I ended up leaving & going to another psychologist by area 5

This place is a joke. They will prescribe you medication even if it doesnt benefit your mental health. The therapists will listen to you for an hour without any emotion or empathy. I remember one therapist specifically. His name was Steve. He sat and listened to me for an hour with the same response, how does that make you feel? I felt like he didnt listen to me. At one point he actually cut me off in the middle of my sentence because our time was up. My Psychiatrist was Dr. Forthner. She was not very pleasant to speak with. I felt very uncomfortable in her office. She showed little to no emotion when listening to my concerns. After listening to me for an hour she put me on Abilify, Buspirone, and Effexor then sent me on my way. I remember waiting for over 30 mins. for my scheduled appointment times and nobody seemed to have a sense of urgency. DO NOT GO TO FOUR COUNTY. They will make you feel dumb, belittle you, and treat you like youre in a psych ward. I recommend taking yourself or your children to Howard Community Health. Thanks for reading!
