I have been living here with my family for a little over two years .I love the apartments! I love how our office manager is very smart and knowledgeable about the property she is also very helpful and she is a wonderful manager always is open to any questions and always has apartment repairs done quickly. I am very pleased with these apartments and happy to have found them.

Ive lived here almost 3 years and I love it. Mandy and Luis are amazing and beyond friendly. Mandy truly cares about the residents and Luis can fix anything and do a great job at it. I cant imagine living anywhere else

Ive lived here 10 years, and yes dont get me wrong there has been bad and good things. But overall Ive loved living here. Ive never had any problems with things getting stolen. Its mostly a Quiet place there will be the Casual talking loudly or yelling but for the most part quiet. Since getting the new manger things have changed around the community and getting cleaned up and put together. Like getting repainted last summer which looks good and now having sitting areas around the property has been nice. Each apartments have 2 bed 1 bath and either a little backyard or Patio. I would recommed looking into these apartments an see if there a good fit for you.

The best place i have ever lived amazing grounds, nice pools, very spacious apartments, amazing staff, and allways fast to help with a problem. Prices is a little high but your not just getting an apartment your getting your own little community and A+ staff in a nice part of lodi

Been here for four yrs. We should expect a few bumps in the road during changes. All and all, the improvements being made are exceptional the peaceful surrounding proves Meritage to be a pleasant living environment for us.

Moved in, in October of 2005 and just recently moved out. Everything was good until management started changing. The last 3 years have been interesting! Rent has gone up 3xs or more a year. Thats a joke what they are asking for rent right now is way to high for that place. Summer time=Cars being broken into every single night! Walls are paper thin, you can hear your neighbors phone vibrate. They dont ever replace the carpet. It looks clean until after about a week when all the spots come back up.. dishwashers suck, pointless to use.nithing is updated. Your not allowed to have anything on YOUR OWN BACK PORCH,THAT YOU PAY FOR. Had my daughters bike and chair and ball back there, got a letter to remove the trash from our patio.. kids are not allowed to be kids. No chalk no playing nothing. So many spiders every where, always a ton of flies at your front door, huge flea problem. Pools are always hella nasty and usually get temporally closed a few times due to people wearing all of their clothing into the pool. Always a ton of random people who dont live there at the pools. Washer and dryers suck so bad!!!!!! They are older than dirt. Always getting broken into. Your clothes will either be taken out and just thrown on a table if your not there the exact moment the time ends or even better stolen right out of the machine. They put in dog poop stations which was cool they are always stocked with poop bags and a trash can. But not to many people use them!!!!! Mandi is nice and I get it shes trying to better the place and hopefully one day it works out.

18 months I rented here. Everything was good at first...They once hired what seemed to be a homeless man to clean the gutters. I was awoken one morning to him walking on my roof with a leaf blower blowing out the gutters. He sprayed mud and leaves all over my patio and chairs also the was sliding patio door was covered in gunk. I refused to clean it up and it was never cleaned for me. Unacceptable.I almost had my second car towed that was parked in guest parking because it was there for 3 weeks. I saw other renters have cars sitting for months and they never got towed. It pissed me off.When I moved out I spent days cleaning and making the apartment look nice. I even requested a walk through and the manager said it looked great. I carpet cleaned, as well and it was immaculate, cleaner than when I moved in. I even cleaned the walls When I got my deposit back (which was $1700 instead of the normal $500 because I didnt have appropriate credit even though i supplied a bank statement saying I had 10s of thousand of dollars) There was $250 taken off of it for $150 for a cleaning charge and $100 for carpet cleaning. On every section of the move out report the manager (Mandy) said needs cleaning on everything. Totally dishonest and unacceptable. I called the property management company andbasked if everyone was charged $250 for move out expenses and she said NO. So why was i charged that with an immaculate apartment. Everyone here was completely dishonest. And i would never EVER recommend someone rent from these crooks. Oh and my starting rent was $1150 (and I never missed a payment) it had been raised to $1400 within a year and with the threat of $1450 if I didnt sign a lease. Honestly the apartment wasnt even worth $1150. Old crappy cabinets and crappy fixtures. The only decent thing about this place was that it was quiet.Also they painted the complex while I lived there and they did a terrible job. They had paint stripped for months and it looked terrible ugly.Do not rent from this place.

Luis Mendez as maintenance is excellent very efficient in their work and always has a good attitude.

They wont give you a full deposit refund no matter what. we left the place in better shape when we got there. there were webs on the back porch. the bug infestation here is outlandish. how do you keep webs out when the place is infested with spiders. we even had a flea problem for a minute. avoid this place at all costs. bad management.

The merritage apartments i would never rent from because they changed mangement and still cant get there stuff together. I called multiple times to view an apartment never had one too show me and my family very disappointing, noone knew what they were talking about down there at the office kept telling me to call back, even went to view apartments in person they said it already rented the same day dont make no sense . I would never call or rent from here . They give you the run around and wasted me and my families time.

If you like your cars being broken, stolen, stuff cut off of them then rent here if you like your rent raise all the time rent here if you like paying high rent and things around the apartments still broken rent here if you like hearing people out side yelling at night come down here and rent a place
