Our tax preparer, Leah Young, is absolutely fantastic! She brings enthusiasm and lighthearted joy to what could easily be a droll task. She is highly skilled and informative, taking the time to explain different options and answer questions. Leah is so personable and friendly, we actually look forward to getting our taxes done each year. She is someone we trust to guide us in financial matters and she shows sincere interest and care. Because of her superior service we have referred many other people to H&R block.

I like the service and knowing you will back me up if I need it. I do not like the difference between a taxpayer with up to 3 W-2s and a retired guy, like, me who has to pay more for the same service. Thinking about doing it online myself next year and saving $100. I have a very easy return to do and it seems too high.

Phoned ahead to try to get an appointment. Was told if I came in 25 minutes I’d be taken care of. Made it there only to be told I’d have to wait around 30 minutes. I understand the wait isn’t ridiculous but those expectations weren’t set which is why I came in the first place. The staff didn’t really look happy to help me out so I chose to file through turbo tax and save money instead.

Your scammers. Its very misleading to put advertisement out there that its 60$ to file for the w2s. Only to have to pay another 60$ for the state return. What you people are doing is wrong. I will never return to h&r block ever again.

OMG - do not ever go there to get your taxes done. We did and we found out the hard way. Ours was a simple error they made on a 1040 and left us with the bill. The so called H&R block guarantee - what a joke. They admitted to the mistake and told us to do a payment plan with the state. Nice huh. We contacted their customer service, they set us up with a tax professional and assured us it would get taken care of. Ya, they took care of it alright, directed us to the website and told us to set up a payment plan. Stay away from that office and H & R Block. Save yourself the money and agony we are going through.
