I called the Lockport police department to request a mechanic recommendation. I got Mel’s service. I called to make an appointment to bring my precious vehicle to Mel’s, he was grumpy and way too overpriced for me, $100 an hour for a Toyota vehicle scan that he said would take 5 hour’s 😳 I love law enforcers and because of it, I am a great candidate for letting them know who they can trust.

The guy was decent enough to offer me a half hour rate instead of the full hour for a 5-10 minute job. He claimed to only do minimal mechanical issues. He didnt B.S. me or try to con me from what I could tell. I might go back.

Best place to have work done on your automobile. I have never dealt with such an amazing business when it comes to my SUV. Service is fast and you cant find more honest people anywhere else. I live in wheat field and there are lots of mechanics much closer to my house but I will never take my car anywhere else but Mels. Thank god for this business.

I have been taking my trucks to these guys for years. John, Joyce and their team are always prompt to get to your vehicle and will only fix what is needed, without taking you over your budget. Its great to establish a great working relationship with your mechanic
