Everyone was exceptional in their professionalism and sensitivity. While there are obvious financial and legal necessities involved when providing this type of service, they handled it delicately and discreetly. Its very obvious that they have never forgotten what it is they do, why they do it, and the meaning it has for the families they serve.

The director and the whole staff made this difficult process so seamless from picking up our loved one is a different state to setting up a lovely service to arranging the burial site. This was a difficult time and we did not have to worry about a single detail.

My father just recently passed away and Louis at the funeral home was just so helpful in organizing everything for us. He truly took much of the stress away when it came to making arrangements. We had anticipated that side of the process to be much harder. They clearly have a very high standard of service. Louis and everyone else working there always responded to our calls, answered all our questions, and were extremely respectful.

Our family buried my grandfather Daniel Clarich on January 30th. We were thoroughly impressed with the warmth, sensitivity, and professionalism of the entire staff from Bernheim. Everything was seamless and conducted with absolute attention to detail. I was pleased to learn that my grandfather was in good hands and that his shomer was Rabbi Daniel Sayani. Rabbi Sayani is well-known in the Jewish community as an expert on chevra kadisha practices, and is the only shomer to serve as a congregational rabbi, member of the prestigious New York Board of Rabbis, chaplain, and author. I read about him in the New Jersey Jewish News for his rabbinic leadership and Ive read his articles in Times of Israel. He is a scholar and a leading rabbi in his field. Bernheim should use him as their shomer, as he is an asset to the community.
