I had a pretty big tooth emergency this past weekend and Dr. Buchanan took excellent care of me! I cant speak highly enough about the care and helpfulness she provided. Friendly, fast and extremely efficient. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful time when visiting this office for the first time as a new patient. They made me feel right at home and a part of the family. Dr. Buchanan gave me honest sincere advice on my teeth and how to proceed. She recommended what’s best for me specifically and referred me to an orthodontist also!

Dr. B is simply the GREATEST!!! I havent been to the dentist for some time, due to bad prior experiences at other dental offices. Dr. B literally took all my anxiety away with her warm and welcoming personality. She explained everything to me and was very patient with all my questions and concerns. Doctor Roxanne and her staff are the greatest. I went in for a cleaning and she found a bad tooth and removed it. I can not say enough good things about this practice. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for a good dentist who is honest and caring.

Best dentist ever! This was a dentist I heard about from word of mouth but trust me you wont be disappointed. Great customer service, friendly clean environment, knowledgeable staff with over the top work done on my tooth. They even got me out in time to catch a meeting at work. What more could you ask for?

The LAST honest dentist in town. Dr. Beuchanan and staff are down to earth and the dentist is very thoughtful and thorough. Not a people mill here. It is quiet and unassuming. Great location.

Dr. Buchannan replaced a bridge in my mouth that was at least 20 years old. The temporary, fit of new bridge and color were all excellent. Uncomfortable process (which was to be expected) but no pain. Very pleased with the results. I have a few more crowns that need replacing and I will have Dr. Buchannan do the work.

I had not been to the dentist in over 15 years due to fear but Dr. Buchanan was very professional, she made me feel at ease and took the time to explain what needed to be done. Very unprofessional. Dr Buchanan started the appointment with saying I was there for implants. I told her no, I was there for an exam and cleaning. I told her my oncologist wanted me to get clearance before starting another treatment. I felt like she did not believe me and first had to bring up an e-mail from Rose. I told her that was not me, that was not my phone number. She was not interested in finding the e-mails I had sent. She had her helper take x-rays. She came back in and said my teeth looked good. I told her I had breast cancer and again told her I needed clearance to begin another medication. She said my x-rays looked good. She turns to me asking what I wanted…. I told her an exam and cleaning… I asked her if she had time to clean them. She said yes, just needed a different set up. She began picking the plaque off my teeth. At that time she tells me how everyone in the US dies from breast cancer and began bashing Kaiser multiple times. (I am a Kaiser member) She proceeded to tell me how her mother and aunt in the Philippines, had breast cancer and had mastectomies, she told me “they didn’t have no lumpectomy” they had mastectomies and are fine. She told me multiple times she would never go back to Kaiser, they only see you have $4000 for that year and order all sorts of tests and medications. They only want your money and she would go to Asia for any medical treatment.After picking my teeth for 5 minutes, she tells me I have 2 cracked crowns, cost would be $1200 each to fix. Told me the only thing “free” is a cleaning and x-rays. No mention of my co-pay or having a talk with the girl at the front desk to find out. I was assigned to her office through DeltaCare, (DeltaDental,Medicare). She told me her helper will polish my teeth.That was the “cleaning”The worse dental experience I ever had.

First of all I’d like to inform that foothill dental has recently updated with an air cleaner/purifier that will help to keep the office cleaner and the air quality better. I looked up the model/brand and it is proven to kill/reduce COVID-19 exposure/risk.I needed an emergency dental analysis, and was quickly seen and referred to an amazing oral surgeon who was able to address/fix my issue right away.I highly recommend foothill dental.

I’ve been going to to Foothill Dental Care since I was roughly 7, I am now 21 and I am so grateful for how personable Dr is. Every time I come in, it is like catching up with family. I am someone who values my teeth and making sure I keep up with my visits. I usually never think about the dentist but their 6 month reminders are great for keeping up with your teeth cleaning. I fully trust Dr with my teeth, she’s been nothing but amazing to me and my family!

Love this place!! The prices are great compared to other in the area. The ladies are always so nice to me and make me feel extremely comfortable, witch is important when going to the dentist!!!

I have been going to Dr. Buchanan for about two years. I went to a previous dentist in Livermore (no longer in business) and after the prior dentist botched a crown I decided to seek out a new dentist.I remembered the sign, we cater to cowards, and decided to give Dr. Buchanan a try. Omg, she is the best dentist I have ever had. She was able to repair the prior dentist botched crown and saved the tooth. Because of that I replaced a number of crowns and hence saved teeth.The prior dentist took about 20 minutes to take out the bad tooth and install a temporary crown. Every temporary crown (again prior dentist) fell out within a few days. They also took about 25 minutes to install the permanent crown. And I had up to 6 visits to get it right.Dr. Buchanan is way better. She explained everything and took sometimes 1-2 to take out the bad tooth and install a temporary crown. The permanent crow took about the same time. She worked in both the temporary and permanent crowns until she was satisfied. I did not need to come back for an adjustment, she made sure I was happy. I am VERY PLEASED with all of my crowns and her efforts.Recently I lost a crown (again prior dentist) and went to Dr. Buchanan to replace it. The prior dentist did such a bad job, that I need an implant. Dr. Buchanan took the time to explain the process and what it entails. Again, I am very pleased with Dr. Buchanan.I am so pleased that I recommended her to my husband and mother (when she was alive), Dr. Buchanan was so nice and gentle to my 96 year old mother, that she told me she liked the experience.To reiterate, I highly recommend Dr. Buchanan and I trust her when she gives me a recommendation.

On our first visit for cleaning, we waited for more than an hour. And when its our turn already, they just did X-ray and told us to comeback for cleaning. We came back after 2 weeks for cleaning. The dentist did examination and suggested to take a picture of our teeth which cost $50 dollars each besides x-ray, which is not necessary in other dental offices. The dentist was able to convince my wife to take photos of her teeth. When we asked for a copy of those photos, the dentist said we cannot get a copy in a rude way and we can only take picture of those photos. And thats what we did. Their teeth cleaning was awful and very poor. Definitely not going back.

I called foothill Dental cause I had intense pain and my dental insurance for my new job had not kicked in yet. I have been seeing them for a couple of months now. Dr. Buchanan has been incredibly nice and accommodating and helping me get this tooth back on track.

My fiancé had a dental emergency during the middle of a Friday night when everywhere else was closed. When I called Dr. Buchanan, she was able to respond to my message at 1am and helped guide me through the steps of helping him through his pain. She made a special appointment and saw us the next morning no questions. She was very warm and informative about what the problem was and gave us the next steps very clearly. She clearly cares about her patients well being and genuinely wants to help resolve any pain. Her office and waiting rooms were very clean and comfortable. Parking was accessible. Gave an amazing first impression.

I cracked my tooth and I was in great pain and Agony. Foothill Dental Care was kind caring and thorough. They removed my tooth and called me day after on Saturday to check on me. I really appreciate their customer service and phenomenal attention to detail!! They are very kind and caring. My experience was extraordinarily magnificent!!

My insurance company listed me with Foothill Dentist.Im make an appointment. I come in and Im 20 minutes early they tell me no ones had lunch today can we reschedule Im okay with that so I rescheduled for the following week .I had them all my proper paperwork and insurance and everything is good to go 2 hours before my appointment on the following Monday the reception calls an leaves a message to tell me doctor Buchanan has chosen not to see me to find service elsewhere. First of all you were provided to me by my insurance company which meant you accepted the insurance HMO policy ahead of time secondly just saying you dont want to see somebody its not a proper excuse or Reason this is discrimination at the least. I now have to wait an additional 30 days to be seen by another dentist to get my dental needs fulfilled.The responce below has nothing to do with my complaint.. Seems like thier trying to pull a KAREN by saying fake information regarding my claim..No wife here....was never agggressive on the phone with anyone...Filling lawsuit monday November 30th...

I have been going to Foothill Dental for several years now, after a series of bad experiences at a different facility in Pleasanton. Several of my neighbors recommended Foothill, and I would do the same. The doctors are wonderful and the staff are really helpful.

I believe service is OK, However, they made a mistake by Charging me $ 90 on my first visit which should be covered by my insurance,Despite the fact that I mailed a copy of my insurance several days before my appointment.I will appreciate, if they can return my $ 90 USD for a mistake I did not makeSincerely,Ezer Y. My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Buchanan for about ten years now. She and her staff have been awesome: professional and attentive to our needs. Over the years, as weve become familiar with Dr. Buchanan, we have come to really appreciate her as our dentist and as a person. We recommend her highly!

Dr. Buchannan took care of my tooth filling I had to get. You see I had went to a different place to get my teeth done initially and thought that I was fine, but little did I know that the first filling I got ended up eroding and leaving a fat hole in my tooth. So I went into the office of Foothill Dental and was seen that same day. I was greeted kindly and treated like a family member of their staff. I had my hole filled up and even got an awesome tooth brush and tooth paste goody bag. I was told to just avoid crunchy food for a day or 2 and to floss and brush everyday so that my gums and teeth remain very strong. It’s been about 3 weeks since my visit date and my tooth feels perfectly fine and there’s no way it is going to become undone like the last crappy job.

My family and I have been going to Dr Buchanan for over 10 years and couldnt be happier. When it comes to dentistry, I am a coward and she is gentle and accommodating. I highly recommend Dr Buchanan to anyone who is searching for a Dentist who is professional and personnel.

I have always dreaded going to the dentist for fear of the injections. Painful reminders from childhood. But, with Dr. Buchanan in Livermore that is no longer a concern. I had all my old silver fillings replaced with no painful injections. The care was awesome and the work was outstanding. I highly recommend this dental office for quality care.

I am travelling from Texas and had a filling break. Dr. Buchanan saw me promptly and found several more problems. Ive had no better dental work any where. She takes pride in being very up to date with her procedures,and provides small things like lip balm while she is working so your lips dont crack.The entire staff works as a team. I had to see her several times and she listens to patient feedback, another plus.Next time I am in California, I will be scheduling my work with her. I leave with my teeth in much better shape than when I came. Thanks to all the staff, but especially Dr. Buchanan!

From the time I got in there she bad-mouthed my previous dentist saying very slanderous things. She is also the only dentist that I know that charges you the whole amount, even texting me about my bill at 8 on, instead of calling the dental plan and asking for their coverage and charging me for the rest. Upon calling Delta dental I discovered that I was also charged for services that were not performed. And after all that my wife still has problems w the teeth worked upon. When questioned Mrs. Buchanan was rude and was only worried about pre payment. I will never go back to that place again and urge current patients to pay close attention to their Billings!
