Where to start... Aptive Pest Control is using unfair and deceptive business practices as well as bait and switch techniques. I had signed up for quarterly service and a month later online it shows service every 6 months without notice. It took 3 months to charge my card for the initial service and I finally received an email they were having third party billing issues, which they are still having.I have an infant and initially hired them because they claimed to use “kid friendly” and “green” product. The technician showed me the chemical they were using and it was very toxic and not “kid friendly” at all!They also never showed up when scheduled per online notice and the initial service never solved the flea issue and when they came back 1 week later for a free re-service it still did not solve the issue.When I called to try to cancel I was hung up on numerous times. Once I finally reached someone, they refused to cancel my service saying they could make it right so I could not cancel and she was rude and doing dishes while talking to me. Eventually I was hung up on again. NEVER use Aptive Pest Control.Update- the only way I could cancel is by contacting the BBB of Utah where they are based.

I use Aptive Environmental for both my elderly mothers property and my own property. Always professional and on time. Good communication. Routine perimeter maintenance to prevent insects from entering the house, but going above and beyond to find & prevent rats & wasps from entering as well. Superb service. Highly recommend.

Basir from Aptiv was a great technician. He came early, inspected everything, suggested what else should be inspected, did all the service in a timely and professional manner. Asked if there was anything else that he could help with before he left. He was one of the best technicians that I have had perform the quarterly service.

I’m old fashion when it comes to business. And today Jacob from this organization came out serviced my house first service great service great customer service I just really you know the service itself I was totally happy with but I was really impressed with this young man in his capability to use his skill set of talking and explaining not only what he’s doing but really knowing what he’s doing and it was just a great experience thank you. If you need somebody for spiders past whatever I just want your house sprayed so you got aunts bother you in the summer mess with Jacob.

Brian was very professional, knowledgeable, fast service, thorough in explaining of prices and payments, seasons of spraying and etc. He sprayed the exterior only today, and cleaned off all spider webs. We have issues of mainly only spiders and ants really bad with an occasional what weve noticed lately Oriental water bugs in the backyard. He cleaned it all up and slayed everywhere that may be an entry into house in about 45 minutes. So far, Im a first time customer and their service has been great, from first impression to service date. Try them out, and their prices are really good too, most affordable Ive seen in the East Bay

Dom took the time to explain the source of our sudden ant infestation and gave several options about how to best handle it. I am so appreciative that he went above and beyond what was expected of just applying treatment and gave several personalized recommendations. Dom was fantastic and I would be excited to use him every chance I could.

Techs are always on time, professional, courtesy, and do a good job. I have never had a complaint.

James confirmed that I have carpet beetles. He was very knowledgeable. He offered to spray, but I told him I wanted to use something more natural and he had really great suggestions if things that I could use and how to use them.

Wow, I have never had a better door to door sales service. Not only was the price amazing, but Blake and Steve made it the best experience I could ask for. We generally do a quarterly treatment from stuff we get from Lowe’s, but the deal was so great it’s worth the money for a professional to do it. Not only was their customer service amazing, but they were professional, educational, and just all around pleasant.I’ve never in my life had anything door to door that was not just useful but affordable. They def locked me in as a customer and I would 10/10 reccomend eighty times over to all my neighbors.PS: you know how fleas adapt and become immune to fleas medicine so you have to get a prescription for stuff that works and the old stuff becomes over the counter and doesn’t work so well? Same with others pests and insects. When they explained that, I couldn’t believe I had been doing all this work myself. It’s more than worth $110 a quarter (the deal they have currently). I’m glad I was able to take advantage and don’t have to do this myself anymore. Also their stuff is safe for dogs. Which was a major thing for my home.

Nate, the technician sent me a text prior to arrival letting me know what time he would arrive. Then came and let me know when he arrived and asked if there were any particular areas I was concerned about. He proceeded to prep for an initial spraying, which involved knocking down any signs of pests around my home, garden and fences. He completed the initial treatment in an hour and kept me in the loop with his progress. Great service, happy with my first engagement with Aptive!

I love this service. I went for years not spraying anything around my house but the black widows last year were overwhelming. I wanted something as natural as possible and Aptive came through. I like their quarterly service and i dont have to worry about the wasps and black widows any longer. Plus their service techs are awesome. Polite, nice people and informative. They let me know where and what they found. Its a fantastic service. Highly recommend!

I had my APTIVE appointment this morning. After receiving a very polite call before his arrival, my technician Adrian showed up to treat my home for common bugs, insects. He got started on the exterior of my home while I got my big, rambunctious pup in the house. After he was done on the outside, my dog and I switched places with Adrian and he worked his magic on the inside of my home. He was so polite and very informative, answered all questions I had with a genuine interest in his field! He was very thorough, clean, (he wore paper booties inside), and just a sweet young man! I have a regular recurring service with Aptive, and recently we had seen an unprecedented influx in pests around my home. That said, I was upset with Aptive when Wayne arrived. However, he was able to quickly disarm me with his immediate care, concern and knowledge. He walked me thru his plan for our service that day which made me comfortable and confident that our pest issues would subside. A big thanks to Wayne!

They are always very professional. Haven’t had an ant problem since I’ve been using them. Used to get ants in the house during the summer and sometimes when it rained. Now I don’t ever have to worry.

Scam service. The salesman said he was servicing our neighbors house. Talked to my neighbor and found out they were not. They also said the service would help with ticks and wasps. Not 3 days went by and the wasps were back plus my dog got a tick. 2 different employees said I was signed up for the 1 year service while signing me up for the 2 year package anyways. Steer clear of this scam service. Save your money.Also most of their 5 star reviews are from people with 1 review. Check their Yelp page for more negative reviews.

Edward Leftwich arrived for our appointment early, fully outfitted for his work. He was very professional, explained everything, worked diligently while carrying on pleasant conversation when we spoke with him. He quickly completed a thorough treatment for ants, our main concern. He showed us their entry point from outside into our kitchen then sprayed inside and outside. He found the path back to the ant colony that we had missed. He also cleaned up various spider webs on the outside. Edward represented your company well, please be sure he gets a raise!

The guys came to my door and insisted a lot to do pest control for me. I used to it myself. I live in a hot area and have lots of ants at home during summer time. After aptive performed two services the ants still existed so I asked for and refund. Not only they didnt refund me they charged me another $199.

James just left my house from spraying my house and service was excellent, he explained everything before he started and got right to work. He even treated the fire ants I’ve been battling with for months.

I signed up for 12 months of Pest Control Service after the initial service in July. They came out in August for the first quarterly service. They then showed up without notice in October for the second service, which was 2 months not 3. They then tried to come out in December, again 2 months, I rescheduled for January. They came out and came out again in April. So they sent me a text telling me they were coming on July 14th. I asked them if this was free and they told me no and was for a renewal. I of course told them I did not want their service and cancelled. I then realized that I technically only got 11 months of coverage, given their service actually does last 3 months, but its probably more like 2 since they kept trying to come out in 2. So I called back, I was told since I cancelled a manage would have to call me back. I think I will ask for a refund of the 1 month, since I will no longer own the house at the end of next week, since they did not abide by the contract, since they have a penalty if the customer cancels early.Do not use Aptive Enviromental. I suspect they were gonna come out every 2 months and charge me $149 each time, which would have 6 payments instead of 4 quarterly payments. Beware, they might be criminals.

Have noticed way fewer insects in the house since switching to Aptiv. The tech doesn’t need to spray indoors anymore, thru just treat the outdoors. They have been very easy to work with.

A sales person stopped by to sell the service. I can overlook the super agressive sales tactics but whats with the reviews difference between yelp and google??? 1.5 star rating on Yelp and 4.5 on google??? smells fishy... stay away. many other services out there
