The CFL community is welcoming and filled with good quality coaching. I was nervous to start CrossFit, but right away I knew I was at the right place. The format of each class allows adequate time for warm up, prep work, as well as practice for each movement of the workout. I’m a runner/endurance athlete mainly— the workouts at CFL have carried over to my running performance as I feel much stronger especially on the inclines. The coaches also have a variety of ways to modify and scale the workouts for any skill levels. You won’t regret joining this awesome community!
CrossFit Livermore is a great place for fitness, health, and community. Matt and his team of coaches provide great support and programming for everyone. Theyve have made me feel welcome, helped me stay on track with my goals, and have given lots of helpful pointers. Best is that everyone at the gym is there for the right reasons (coaches and other members!). Im glad I joined the gym last summer!
CFL is an awesome gym. Warm and welcoming environment for all fitness levels. Coaches will work with you individually if you are new to CrossFit or returning to ensure you don’t hurt yourself and get you comfortable with all the movements. I come for great workouts and stay for the wonderful community. Highly recommend!
Love CFL! All the coaches are amazing and encouraging. It is a great community of people and they are always available for questions and give great tips! Everyone is highly trained and knowledgeable. I highly recommend stopping in to try a class out!
CFL is the best gym! Come for the fitness but stay because of the amazing community. The coaches are knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. There are plenty of class times daily which is very convenient! The gym is also family and child friendly!
My partner and I were members of CFL for about three years and would still be if we didnt move out of state. I have been to a number of crossfit gyms in previous homes or on travel and CFL is a step above the rest! The owner and his team of coaches care so much about the members and it shows both in their actions and their reinvestment into the gym. From daily WODs to their special programs you can opt into, there are so many options to improve your fitness and have a great place to de-stress. My partner started out his crossfit journey here and they were wonderful at coaching him and intentional about improving his range of motion and technique. Its a great community and a great gym to be a part of!
What a great gym and community. No judgement at this place but great advice on moving properly and recovering properly. If you are looking for something new you should checkout Crossfit Livermore. I did check the gym out in 2017 and have been going ever since.
I have been coming to this Crossfit for the last 3-4 months and I must say hands down this is one of the best decision that both my husband and I have made. We always were intimidated of going to Crossfit and felt it was only for the super fit or active folks. As soon as we joined we were introduced to the movements but at our own pace and our own ability. Matt was just awesome on making us feel comfortable. But it is not only one person here, all the coaches - Jess, Dylon, Vince, Tim, Suzie make sure you are first doing your movements right and that too every class. Then we have the wonderful community here whom I still remember the first day when I was having difficulties just to run 200m or pick a barbell or do any movement, the community kept saying good job which was a great motivation for me and feeling welcomed. This year we also joined their Weight Loss Challenge and Grace who manages the nutrition aspect here at the gym was just AMAZING. Not only did we have weekly challenges and Sunday workouts, she always helped in recommending the best relationship you can have with food and how you can carry it with you even after the challenge. I feel everyday here that I attend, I am getting better physically and mentally . Thanks to the great team who always makes this experience more like a family than just another commercial establishment. I definitely recommend this place to anyone at ANY fitness level to join here and you will never go wrong!
The amazing coaches and members of Crossfit Livermore make participating in any work out fun. The coaches are attentive and know my needs. They know what I am capable of and know how to push me a little bit further. I have Lupus, an autoimmune disease. My immune system mistakenly attacks healthy tissue in many parts of my body. Some of my symptoms include overall inflammation, muscle weakness, joint pain and fatigue. The coaches always find a way to keep me moving. They work with me to modify any (all 🤪) workouts so that I can keep moving and go through the range of motion of each movement. Exercise beneficial for everyone of all ages, including people with Lupus. If you think you are to old, too weak, to sick, to out of shape to try Crossfit, you are wrong. You just haven’t tried Crossfit Livermore. It’s a life changer!
I think Im the first rater since CFL has moved to their new gym! Great looking, clean, LARGE facility with plenty of room to run two classes at once with no interference. I was greeted by Grace, whos infectious, easy-going attitude immediately made me feel very welcome. The members and coach (Matt) somehow made me feel like I was at my home gym, without being over the top about it. Overall, Kudos to this gym. Looks like theyre doing it right.

7,000 sq ft., beautiful facility. BEST coaches who are very knowledgeable. Age range from 15-80 years old. This gym offers weightlifting (6 platforms), nutrition coaching, and tons of community events. Hands down best gym Ive ever been a part of!
I dropped in on a visit from Tucson, AZ and had a great workout taught by Jessica. She was a great coach and was very welcoming, friendly, and motivational. I am very happy that I dropped in and recommend others to do the same!
The whole family loves CrossFit Livermore! My husband and I bring our 7 & 8 yr-old kids often. It’s a family-friendly environment with great workouts, music and community! We appreciate CFL for making recovery and stretching a huge part of lifting and all the staff being so attentive!
Crossfit Livermore has changed my life. The coaching staff is awesome! They are patience, knowledgeable and are able to modify the workouts to my specific limitations. I always get a great workout. Coach Matt has places a strong emphasis on movement, mobility and recovery to prevent injury. CFL has an amazing community of members who cheer and support each other. CFL is definitely my happy place. If you are looking to improve your nutrition, I highly recommend working with one of CFL’s nutrition coaches. Coach Jess & Coach Grace are very knowledgeable. I highly recommend you give CFL a try. You won’t regret it. CFL will change your life too.
Stopped by here for a workout while traveling too far out to visit my normal box. People were friendly and gracious, space is very large, and the gym is well equipped.
Great workouts combined with great great people. The coaches are very helpful no matter what level you are at, from beginner to expert.
I dont like the disorganization. If you have different people in the same class start at different times, it is really easy to lose the engagement of your athletes, and it makes it impossible to correct improper movements. This gym could improve by adding some more structure and taking the time to make each WOD more than just an hour long trip to a gym with weights on the floor. The people were nice once I talked to them, but the coaches seemed distracted by the chaos.
CFL is the best gym you will ever have the honor to come to. They have the best coaches that teach safety first so injuries can be avoided. They are amazing people with fun attitudes. It does not matter what skill level you have, you will learn a ton and gain the strength you are looking for. I used to hate working out before coming to CFL. I am now here 5 days a week! I LOVE everything about this place. My body has changed and I am so proud of the strength and skill set I now have! I have made a lot of new friends and I call this place my second home! Stop by for a class..you will NOT be disappointed!!!

I dropped in for a WOD on a business trip. The Coach and athletes at Crossfit-Livermore made me feel as if I was working out at my regular box. Even though I was just passing by, I got the same attention from the coach (Eric) as all the other athletes. They have a great facility. I hope I get a chance to drop in again.
I dropped in two years ago to try this new thing I heard of... CROSSFIT and Ive been there ever since! Matt the owner is absolutely AMAZING! Taught me how to lift correctly, efficiently and modifies the workouts so I am able to complete them with injuries (not from crossfit) and still have an awesome hardcore workout! But thats not even all of it. I have other coaches (like Jess) that help me with my relationship with food and found a nutrition plan that works for me! All coaches give something a little different but all help me to succeed in my health goals! And the community? Seriously everyone that goes there is so awesome, they keep me going, give me the motivation to complete a workout when I think I cant anymore! CFL is my second family!
Fantastic coaches, facility, equipment, programming, and (most importantly) community. I never thought I would ever look forward to working out, but this place does that for me. I know it can be intimidating thinking of joining a Crossfit gym, trust me, I was there myself. Prior to Crossfit, I’ve always been super unathletic and weak and the thought of working out in front of people terrified me. However, this gym has members of all ages, abilities, and walks of life and everyone is super supportive. You will fit in and be welcomed without judgement. I’m constantly surprising myself on what I can accomplish and how much I’ve improved and it is a tremendous feeling that you can’t put a price tag on.

Crossfit Livermore is by far the best Crossfit box in town. My fiancé and I spent several years training at other gyms nearby and noticed that when we joined CFL we made significant progress in a short period of time. The progress is a result of excellent coaching, with attention paid to movement, mobility, and mechanics more than just throwing weight around. The coaches definitely know their stuff! Even better then personal progress is the amazing group of people and energy of this gym. It’s filled with energy, love, and passion for this sport and for life!! People from all walks of life are welcome, the coaches aren’t “clicky” or elitist like other Crossfit gyms we’ve been to, and they are really care. Check it out ASAP! You won’t regret it!!
5.5 years ago I tried Crossfit for the first time in my life. The best thing I ever did for myself! I always participated in sports but never considered myself an athlete. I committed to 1 month because it takes at least a few drop ins to understand the flow and instructions. Im still learning today! I have crossfitted throughout my 2nd pregnancy here at CFL and the coaches couldnt have been more supportive on helping me modify workouts when the belly started getting in the way or when I no longer could row/run. CFL is beyond a place to get a workout, theres a huge community here where you learn more about yourself beyond what time you finished the workout. The people are beyond generous, kind, and sometimes competitive. Very spacious and the programming is wonderful! I can workout every day and not feel like Im going to injure myself... and if there are days where I dont feel that great but still want to go to the gym, we can modify so I keep moving around for that hour. All I have to do is show up and do the work and I will see gains.

Just stopped by this place because Ive been wanting to do CrossFit for a long time. The instructor there was not only knowledgeable, he was a professional encourager and the guys there were friendly.
