Love, love loooove this place! The food is very authentic, specially the green Salsa😋 they have plenty of vegetarian dishes and MEZCAL! Mr. Erick was so helpful and attentive. Word of advise if you are planning dinner/or after work meeting with friends at this place get there early ( like around 4pm) Fridays and Saturdays; since the patio gets full quickly and they have just a few tables and its quite cozy 😉.

The customer service provided is usually great. Jocelyn who took my reservation on the phone was outstanding and showed exceptional customer service skills.This restaurant is a favorite of mine and my former colleague and we always enjoy the wonderfully tasty food.

As always, great food and great service! Ive been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal. I recommend their enchiladas; amazing flavor and their housemade sauce. You also cant go wrong with their flautas, sopa, or just about anything else on the menu. And be sure to order a margarita or a michelada to wash your meal down!

Love the red sauce here. So good! Staff is so friendly. Just as nice eating outside on the patio as it is inside. Solid drinks at the bar too!

Service was great, but the Torta Milanesa I got was not very good. The bread was dry, and the steak was extremely thin and over cooked.

Mixed review here. They were extremely busy which is great to see, but they were understaffed and so there was a looong wait between ordering and getting anything we ordered at the table. The menu was visibly dirty and splashed with salsa inside so clearly they are not cleaning things before passing between customers which is concerning with rising covid cases in the area. The food was not bad, but not amazing either. The churros, which were the reason I came back after a previous visit, were no longer as delicious and the sauce was different and didnt go with the churros at all. The margaritas, however, were fantastic and saved our dinner from being otherwise less than ideal. Probably wouldnt return unless no other options nearby.

I thought this was a nice place to get some authentic Mexican food! I recommend getting the fajitas de camarones! Muy fantastico!! The staff was really nice and accommodating. It was quite pleasant! If youre looking for some delicious mexicN look no further and stop on by. You will not be disappointed!

Great food and margaritas. Two menu highlights that are must haves...the taco salad is phenomenal. I have it at least once a week. The carnitas are absolutely fantastic. Some of the best Ive ever tasted.

OMG!!! My first time, definitely NOT THE LAST. Our servers were amazing and had had terrific customer service. We went for my moms birthday and had a blast!!!! Lets not forget about the COOK.....ALL THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!!!! GET THERE LADIES AND GENTS!!!

The hostess are lazy. Not only with in line waitong for days, but with the dashers. Theres a dasher with his doordash shirt and bag ready for his delivery. And there was one sitting down with his regular clothes on and No Bag. They help the driver with No Bag real Good and the Sharp driver was asked to showed them the order. While the other guy was helped without any question. 5stars to the waitress and waiter. Thank you for them. 3 stars for the cooks

We had hoped to enjoy the outdoor dining, but the section with heaters was full. We ordered take-out instead, and all enjoyed our food at home.

We used El Charro to provide a buffet lunch for a socially distant and repsonsible lunch with some family - I placed the order at 12pm and the food was delivered right on time at 4 that afternoon! The food was delicious - fajitas, rice & beans, salad, and all the sides were all great! Ive only dined there a few times, all before Covid, but will definitely be eating there more often and 100% would use again for catering!

I call last weekend to order the food they took me 10 minutes will be ready .well when I get there my order was not ready so I have to wait another 10 to 15 minutes and then wen ask for hot sauce they want to charge for it I dont like that

I am a fan of El Charro and have been for years. I tried something new today! I came out with my girls for a watermelon margarita/wine and tried a Prawn Ceviche because it’s so hot out here and it was so delicious and refreshing! I like how they setup a large patio space too. Thanks for the great food and service!

Great chili Verde! Personable & Professional staff. While I waited for my to go order. Everyone including the owner were extremely welcoming and helpful. Which is amazing as it was almost 10 p.m. on a Friday night. Finding any place nowadays that serves past 8 or 9 p.m. is a huge accomplishment. To find a place that welcomes an order & appreciated the patronage seems to be a real unicorn in the restaurant world, these days. I highly recommend this restaurant !

El Charro service tonight was not real good. We were there for 2 hours and did not even take our order until we had been there for an hour. Food was cold. That is not the norm for them so right now Ill blame vivid for this.

So so so good!! Went here for happy hour dinner. The taco basket was amazing (all 3 meats were fresh, juicy, and well seasoned). The asada fries were also a nice treat! Delicious margaritas too (the citrus one). Would definitely come back!

The cheese enchiladas with red sauce are the best Ive ever had. Nice atmosphere for families, or for a relatively casual and fun date. Service is good even when they are busy, which is often.

Love this place. Authentic fresh Mexican food. I love their prawn tacos, enchiladas, carnitas plate, and so many others. Friendly staff, great chips and salsa. They have a great bar with a lot of beers on tap. Great location but street parking is your best bet since the lot is fairly small.

Great atmosphere to celebrate birthday with friends. Veggie tacos with beans and rice is my go to meal. Love it. Chips fresh, nice crunch with salsa.

This is a hidden Gem! We really really dug this place, and for a range of reasons -First and most importantly the food was total restaurant-style high quality Mexican. I had a vegetarian burrito with Fajita veggies and avocado inside, and it was so obvious that the vegetables are bought and cooked fresh - they were still crisp and juicy, not soggy and watery!!! Second the service was great, Katie Jo was our server and was always on hand, plus refilled the chips + salsa (KILLER SALSA) right when I was thinking it.Also, their famous red sauce truly is *all that*. It was amazing. We had our burritos drenched in it, and it made the meal.Long story short, I cant imagine theres a better Mexican place in town - and if so, I havent found it yet. Highly recommend.Oh, PS - My Wife has a deadly nut-based allergy, and they were really attentive to our diets and needs. That was really appreciated.

Had a great time here. Great food and excellent service. The portions were big. I had the al pastor burrito, extremely well prepared. Asked for picante salsa and was not disappointed, had some heat AND good flavor.

Love this authentic mexican restaurant. Chile Verde plate is awesome, chips are fresh, salsa is fantastic. They have hot salsa if you ask which is also very good. One downside is that the acoustics are not great so it tends to be very loud in there when its busy. Food and margaritas are too good to care though :)

Pretty good food and service. Just be careful to read the fine print on what drinks are included with happy hour. If you are going downtown for a movie or other event, let the waitress know and they will be mindful to get you done in time. Great atmosphere with the decor and open feeling.

I love coming here, food is always amazing. Its hard to find good Mexican food these days but if I want a good burrito I come here. And there happy hour deals are pretty good too. Me and my wife got a burrito, chimichongas and 2 IPAs for about $25.

Good food -, its seasoned well and quality is there as well as flavor authenticity. Price well for the portion. Service is slow sometimes though friendly and the table bus boys/girls works hard (I hope the waiter and waitresses share tips with them). I like the waiter and waitresses are bilingual. Give it a try.

Love the food. Their enchiladas are amazing, and they have Mexican coke. I dont even know what else they serve, because I only ever get the enchiladas and a Mexican coke. Seriously, they could literally rename their restaurant Enchiladas and Mexican Coke and theyd still do very well.All joking aside, it is a great place with a great atmosphere. Everyone leaving negative reviews is nuts. And remember, those with ONE bad experience are more likely to review than one hundred people who have had good experiences. So give it a shot! Youll love it!

What isnt love about the place The decal is great and the service is top notch guy serving as were so friendly we had a great time happy hour from 4 till 6, from 8 omwards is a great deal. Well go back for sure. Oh yes and the Margarita were delicious.

The service at El Charro was excellent! The servers were more than happy to serve our large party of 15. We were a loud bunch of people but that did not seem to bother the amazing El Charro team! I would highly recommend this lovely authentic Mexican eatery to anyone hungry for excellent enchaladas served with a smile.

The food here is very good. The servers are friendly and helpful. Rather noisy so I wouldnt say it was cozy, but with food that good... Who cares if its cozy or not!

They moved down the street near the theatre to a much bigger place. The old place is now an Italian Bistro run by the same family. Good food here too, even if they are not Italian! Good deal on good red sauce pasta. Lunch $8.00

Worse Mexican food ever. I wouldn’t even consider calling this Mexican food. it taste nasty as if they microwaved the food and served it to us. 10/10 I would not recommend.

Their 4th of July party and beer garden was awesome. We enjoyed the fireworks with front row visibility while sipping margaritas and beers ! A must do for next year!

We went here on Cinco de Mayo to kind of have a fun time. it wasnt fun. the food was awful I dont recommend going there. I dont really like posting bad reviews because I hate to hurt the staff making tips but I will never go back there I saw reviews that the beans were purple and they were we ordered and the food came out within three minutes and Im not exaggerating there is no possible way it can be cooked to order if it comes out that fast. stay away

Food is good, service is good. My only suggestion is that they do something to cut down on the noise in the back room. The voices just bounce off the bare walls & floor which makes it really loud! Maybe an update in decor would be nice. Overall good place

A nice restaurant with a bar with small plates (entrees) for $12 and regular combo plates higher. Nice when you have guests. Food is OK.

I called in a take out order, when I got there the guy who I talked to on the phone never placed the order. Had to order again while I was in there. I had to wait another 20 minutes, then when I got home with the food some of the order was incorrect. Ive gone here many times to eat in the restaurant never had any problems, but there take out was really unorganized.
