Very clean and service was good. Food was very tasty and portions were large. Definitely would return when in town.

Did take out for dinner. We got the wor wonton soup(terrible soup), Hong Kong style crispy noodles(terrible instant ramen like noodles), Mongolian trio(not bad), honey walnut shrimp(pretty good and on point), and tofu black mushrooms with vegetables(this was the best dish of the night). The interior decor seem nice for dining in experience. All in all 3 out of 5 dishes were good enough for us to want to try other dishes.

Good food, decent prices, generous portions and nice staff - whats not to like? Even though their name implies it would specialize in Cantonese Cuisine, it is also so very adept at producing Sechuan Cuisine as well. I am especially partial to their Mongolian Beef, Ma Po Tofu, Eggplant w/Spicy Garlic Sauce and Mu Shu Pork (or Chicken). They always package it up nicely taking extra care to prevent leakage of the contents.

They provided party trays for a party of 20. Plenty of food and had lots of compliments. I will be doing it again.

Food was good. Only thing that threw me off is that meals (other than noodles obviously) do not come with a side of rice, so you only get the protein. When I asked about it, they were really smart about it (If you want rice, you need to order rice), even though this is the only Asian restaurant I ever came across where you have to separately order your side of rice for a dinner meal.

Service was excellent even though I had to eat outside. The food was up and down. The hot and sour soup tasted like a dirty dish sponge. The lemon chicken was delicious and the noodles were delicious. Price was very reasonable the way I asked for a lunch special which on the menu shows 8.99 and when I received the bill it was 11.99

I absolutely love this place! I first was introduced to this restaurant in 2014 and I do not want another. I had family gatherings here as well as referred friends to come and they too feel the same as I . Miss May and her Canton Village family does an excellent job and its consistent.

Its good, consistent food but not great. Also, like a lot of places now days they use too much onions so they can reduce on the other ingredients. I like onions - its just too much.

Good Chinese food

Bomb. I requested a noodle dish be made vegetarian and the woman (perhaps owner?) happily did so and let me know she used less oil for me! I mentioned something about wanting to eat a touch healthier (Netflix lbs), and I was so impressed by that. It was delicious! I cant recall the exact name, but it was thin rice noodles with spicy tofu and vegetables. Our server was a young gentleman who was very attentive and pleasant. When I am in town, its always a great experience coming here. They have tables outside for COVID.

If I could give it 10 stars, I would! Our family of 13 (4 sisters/4 brother-in-laws + kids) was looking for a place to eat at just before 9 pm on a Sat. Everyone wanted Pho first because they were cold from being at the park. A neighboring Vietnamese Restaurant (Viet Nom Nom) refused to sit us at 8:50 PM even though they closed at 9:30.So, on to the next restaurant. I called Canton Village because they were in the same shopping center, they closed at 9:30 as well, and asked if theyd seat us even though we had 13 and it was now 9 PM. Their response, Yes, well make it work. So we went. Im so glad we did!I wish I had gotten our main servers name because he is an awesome gentleman with a phenomenal personality and sense of customer service. He cared for our entire family along with the other servers and we never felt rushed.The food was INCREDIBLY good and very reasonable. I think from the time we ordered to the time food started coming out was around five minutes, and it kept coming and coming because we ordered a lot. Every single thing that came out of that kitchen was so tasty, fresh, perfectly cooked, and hot.Ive eaten at Canton on the past but its been many years. The entire family was so amazed with the quality of the food and speed of delivery. We will definitely return!Thank you Canton Village for taking such good care of us! In the words of Arnold, Ill be back!PS- I should have gotten more pictures other than the Honey Walnut prawns but I was too busy grubbing on the food.

We had lunch at Canton Village today which has always been one of our favorite resturants, especially for lunch. My daughters chicken appetizers were raw. I had the beef and vegetables which is one of favorites, but found it to be tasteless. Both dished were sent back. They did comp us for the meal, which I appreciate. But we wont be back

Delivery was right on time, food was packaged well, proper covid-safety precautions were followed during delivery.We ordered:Honey Walnut Prawns - walnuts were very soft to an extent i found unpleasant, sauce was heavy on mayo and light on honeyLemon Chicken - very generous portion of chicken. Very light on sauce. I guess I just prefer the breaded chunks over this style, where a large flat piece of chicken was breaded/fried with a thin crispy coating and then sliced in strips.Twice Cooked Pork Belly - this was my bad for trying a completely unfamiliar dish without carefully reading the description. Poaching left the pork belly rubbery and either the mushrooms or the cabbage had an extremely unpleasant odor, I tried 3 pieces and tossed the restIm mainly leaving this review so I order from a different place in the future. I think this is just not my preferred style.We ended up ordering from another local chinese place immediately afterwards because it just wasnt worth finishing the food.

Best Chinese food in Livermore. The food is so good. Some of the family favorites are the general chicken and happy family. You have to try the tapioca pudding for dessert, it’s incredible. The restaurant is clean and the servers are friendly and fast. Family owned business-you have to try it, you’ll love it!

Great for take out or dine in. Friendly staff with a good variety of items from the menu that serve quickly. The week days seem quiet and great for a relaxed dinner. Unlimited soda refills are a plus. Ample parking.

Amazing place. All the usual Chinese dishes, plus a terrific Lunch Special of a tremendous variety of entrees combined with large helpings of fried rice and noodles. All for between $8 & $10. And they can accommodate large parties at the drop of a hat.

My Dad loves this place! they treat him so well. when ever we come to town, he always wants to take us to Canton Village. the food is good the service is wonderful and they take good care of my Dad... which is priceless!

The food here is great! Everything we ordered came out piping hot. The service was good. We did have to ask for refills. They had all our usually orders on the menu. We were not disappointed at all. Large portions as well!

Ordered sweet and sour pork with vegetables, didnt realize it wasmixed like a soup different very disappointed and for $11.00 plus...never go there again...I thought the vegetables would be seperate.....not....and the portions sucked....cant believe your ripping people offf...

I loved the food it was fresh and the environment was clean. Cleanliness is very important to me. The service was excellent and fast not too fast just right. They timed the dishes accordingly.

I had the lunch plate, it was $8.95 (before taxes), includes soup of the day, fried rice/chow mein 50/50 mix, 1 eggroll, and a protein. It was so good, and amazingly fresh. You can taste the freshness in the ingredients. Dont ever go to panda express, come here for the quality of the food and overall better deal.

Casual atmosphere and the staff was helpful and friendly. The food was very good. We had wor wonton sou, it was very flavorful and full of wontons, and meat. We also had General Taos chicken, Mongolian beef, Honey walnut prawns and barbecue pork fried rice. All of these were excellent. I would definitely recommend to others and return myself.

This place gets five stars due to the excellent staff, service, and quality of the food. It was clear that the people working there truly care about their customers and work hard to make sure their service is exceptional. The food was not greasy and the vegetables were fresh. Will definitely be back again next time Im in Livermore and am craving some authentic Chinese food.

When i ordered the women asked me for how many people i said two. She said wow a lot of food for two. You eat a lot. Im a new customer and now im wondering if i should have even put my order in. Customer service needs help. I dont think ill come back. Very sad with this experience.

Service was excellent

Food is made to order, fresh on the spot. You can feel that someone fired a wok and sauté all the ingredients seconds before the plate arrived at your table. Music is appropriate and at the right volume. The size of the venue helps acoustically and aids towards a comfortable experience.

I love eating there . There food is very good they have a good verity. Have never got anything I didnt like. The service is excellent the servers are friendly. The prices are good.

Ordered walnut pawn to go. Proportion was very very small, that was fine, but I can tell it was not freshly cooked, looked more like a leftover from at least a night before. Walnut prawns is one of my favorite dish of all times but this was the one and only worse version I have ever had in my life as a Chinese.

This was my first time ordering from this place. I ordered 3 items. Rice. Orange chcken and broccoli beef. Came out to be 30 dollars. The guy tells me 45 minutes. I was buying dinner for my son and myself. We were both excited as we are new to the area and wanted some good Chinese food. Well after an hour had past and our food was still home here I called. Them. They said they locked their keys in the car and were waiting for someone to come and unlock the car. Keep my,mind they also said they locked my food in the car. So now my food is also getting cold. They said we will give you soup and sorry but it will be a bit longer maybe 30 minutes. No discount nothing. Just a free bowl of soup. Then the guy said in sorry you cant understand that these things happen and you just have to deal with it. Wort customer service. And they were gonna deliver me cold food. I told them to keep it and refund my money. Extremely disappointed and will not be eatting from this poor establishment ever. Now my 2 year son is not happy and super hungry and he was to wait even longer for me to make him food..
