From the initial conversation with Danielle, to the consultant Brian coming out, and the installation by Nick the experience was great! Danielle took the time to understand our need for radon mitigation in our new home and was very flexible with the schedule. Brian took a lot of time helping us decide on the best source for mitigation considering my basement is finished! Nick arrived early, was pleasant and professional and really did a great job. We are repeat customers and have nothing but great service with Ace!!

Great experience all around. When buying our home, high levels of radon were detected. Our inspector referred us to Ace Radon. When I called, Jennifer was very knowledgeable and asked numerous questions to better understand our property, then quoted a price based on my description and measurements. Thanks!2nd) Our Install was a little non-standard and because they used the Radon-Away brand of Fans we ended up with a terrible vibration in our bedroom, they moved the system (at their cost) and that helped but I believe as long as they install Radon-Away Fans in locations that are noise sensitive (vibration induced noise) this will be an issue for some customers.They did go out of their way in an attempt to correct the vibration induced noise and I stopped asking them to improve the system but 5 months later we still have noise issues and Im not convinced that Ace has the expertise to solve this type of a problem.Maybe their is no low vibration Radon Fan on the market, but I feel that some company somewhere has addressed this type of issue.I gave them 3 stars as they seemed to have done their best.

I had a sump pump and radon system installed by Ace Radon. The sump pump was not adequately installed and it pushed water up onto the basement floor instead of out of the house.They came back to fix the installation and committed to covering the cost of the clean-up. We are now 4 months post-work and they have not paid the invoice of the company that cleaned up the water damage. Would not recommend.

Jennifer (on the office end), Brian (who came to the house to see the work that would be needed in preparation for the Ace quote) and Mike (on the installation) are efficient, helpful and extremely pleasant to deal with. There was absolutely no sales pressure during our transaction. Everything was explained thoroughly and our questions were answered to our complete satisfaction. We chose the interior garage installation, rather than having the pipe run outside the house, and it looks very good with just a short vent through the garage roof that is barely noticeable.Another company provided a quote over the phone, but with caveats that would have allowed the price to increase once the work began. That was not the route I wanted to go.Based on our experience and the people with whom we interacted, I would recommend Ace Radon without reservation.

He finished our single family home in about six hours on one of these clear warm winter days weve had in 2019.Our system is much more than a do-it-yourself type work, for a long weekend. Working from one hour cutting through, and under a hand-sized hole in the slab to the next, standing on a forty-foot ladder above the second storey, then to working on the peak and edge of a steep pitch (9-in-12) roof.He made it work with our finished (custom trimmed, painted, and carpeted) living area basement with very little impact. There are clean, squared and aligned penetrations of the existing interior wall built-ins, and exterior siding courses. All is caulked and sealed up, and I noticed all new equipment from original packaging. I had no question about his safety, workmanship, or any the components or materials used in the installation.Finally, we have a challenging, pitched roof penetration and Matt was professional and stayed long to make it right. He honestly explained the challenges and how he compensated, and inquired about our total satisfaction with his installation. He listened with us for motor and fan sounds, and fully explained the warranty, post-installation testing and walked through the major components with us.Really, it is all that you should expect from paying for a major project like this, and ACE truly is good to their word and bid. Weve had ACE come out and instal mitigation systems in three houses now. They are always professional and do a great job. At one of the houses, the radon level was at 30 when we purchased, so the mitigation system was installed first thing. The level immediately dropped to less and 2. For our latest install, Jeff came out personally to the property and gave recommendations for reducing the level without a pricey install. We had someone moving into the basement, so we went ahead with the install anyway just to be sure, but we really appreciate when a business owner doesnt want to just do the job and take the money even when he feels it may be unnecessary. So, we are really happy with ACE and we recommend them highly!

The previous homeowner used Ace Radon for a radon mitigation system that needed to be checked after I moved in. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the sump in which the radon pipe was installed had water in it to such a level that a new sump pump had to be installed. So as to have the radon system and the sump pump work in conjunction with one another, I hired Ace Radon to install the sump pump as well. The technician for the job was Nick Medina. From the very start Nick was polite, professional and patient with the many questions I asked him about the job and what it would entail. Nick explained the process to me, made sure to notify me every step of the way and left his work area cleaner than he found it...the sign of a true professional! Nick installed the pump and piping in such a way as to make it blend in perfectly with my outside iron fence. The inside construction was clean and Nick even improved upon the initial installation of the radon system by making the access panel and piping easier to disconnect in the future. Overall one of the best service technicians that I have ever encountered. I was thoroughly impressed and will be requesting Nick by name should I need to use Ace Radon again in the future.

My experience with ACE Radon has been positive, two installations in five years. ACE Radon installed the radon system in my previous house, so I called them again. This installation was completed in September, 2020. Their quote was not the cheapest, but the variance is about $100. I like their warranty; a company has to stay in business so that the warranty is meaningful to homeowners.Nick did a rather complex installation routing the system through the garage attic. He is a very knowledgeable and experienced installer. Jennifer set up the appts, and Nick came out to do the work on our basement. I asked Nick to describe what he was going to do, and why. He took the time to explain the process. When I got home in the evening, the job was done. This was a very neat, clean install, with a vapor barrier in the crawl space and a clean patched hole for the pipe below our floor.. The foundation was also sealed all around the basement floor. Outside, the installation was very clean along with routing power to the pump. We had a difficult radon issue that I was not sure if anyone would be able to resolve, yet Ace Radon eliminated our radon in just one visit. Our Radon had been running anywhere from 30 to 120, and in one visit Ace Radon was able to get it down to less than 1.Being that our house is build directly on rock without any crawlspace, or even any gravel under the foundation, I didnt believe there was much that could be done without tearing up walls, cutting concrete, etc. However, Ace Radon came out analyzed our situation and came up with a solution that only took five hours to install and all the work was outside the house.I would highly recommend Ace Radon if you have a difficult radon issue. We just moved to Colorado area and began our search for our new home about 3 months ago. Hearing that there are some concerns in living here like something called Radon gas was completely new to me, but still in my mind I assumed this will not be a concern for us because we are looking at newer homes. Well we found our perfect dream home that was only 2 years old. Radon gas does not discriminate. To our surprise upon inspection it was noted that we had some radon concerns. I immediately panicked. I called 3 different radon mitigation companies to help educate myself and try to determine what financially I would be responsible for. The second I communicate with Leighanne my panic began to subside. She was so clear and educating about this unknown gas that was discovered to be a concern in my new dream home. She spent more time educating me and explaining the mitigation process than trying to just sell the services for Ace Radon. It was obvious she know the science behind this and what was needed to eliminate the concern. She know I was communicating with other companies because I was completely up front about that and at no time did she speak negatively about the other companies only focusing on what Ace could do for me. I had read that in many situations companies gave a quote over the phone only to have to add additional work on site causing more of an expense. Leighanne understood my need to feel financially at ease so strongly suggested an on site bid for the work with no obligations. Brian did that and explained clearly the work to be completed. Living in Parker we are required to have specific electrical work with a licensed electrical contractor. Another mitigation company told me to not worry about that that they would be able to complete the work so to save the expense. Whether or not the company could complete all the work was not in question, but it is required where I live for the work to be permitted and completed with a license electrician. Ace never tried to sell their service by undercutting that requirement. They were protecting me and my investment if I chose to sell later. I appreciate that. Leighanne gave me a list of several electrician for us to contact to make that decision or we could find our own. Joe from Ace was our technician and I could not speak more positively about him and how he represented Ace Radon. He was on time and very professional. He was so respectful about being in my home and staying masked in this time of the specific protocols dealing with covid. He worked hard and clean. His quality of craftsmanship was impeccable. My husband is very Meticulous so almost always has to follow up cleaning the work done by many different trades. With Joe that was not needed. He worked great with the electrician upon his arrival to complete his portion of the work. Upon completion he not only explained in depth what he installed but again explained the process of the system. Also telling us that if we ever have questions to contact Ace. He spoke in clear layman terms and instructed us as to what our suggested roll going forward was in order to guarantee we are safe and get the most out of our system. I know this review is long but coming from someone who never heard of this concern just 3 months ago having the folks at Ace Radon start to finish gave me the complete confidence we would be safe. Ace Radon was professional and prompt. We could not go through the utility room which was an unwelcome surprise. This was no fault of Ace Radon and they were able to run the pipes through an interior closet. I contacted several radon mitigation companies and Ace was by far the easiest to work with.

Was delighted to finally get my Ace Radon Mitigation installed after putting it off for several years! Also had delayed this due to the COVID-19 but went ahead and rescheduled for April 29,2020! Stacey was very kind and helped walk me through the process - inspection, estimates, and installation. Brandy was also able to easily answer several of my questions and assisted with billing. When I discovered we had high radon levels in the house, I talked with five radon mitigation companies, and Ace was the only one that responded to my questions and concerns. Jennifer was our rep, and she worked with us to get the system installed very quickly due to our concerns about how the radon levels might affect a pregnant family member. Nick, the technician, showed us everything he was doing and made suggestions to get the best possible results. And Jeff, the owner, came by to check things out and talk to us about any concerns. We were super impressed by how conscientious all three of them were. Also, the work was done at the time promised, and the techs cleaned up so well afterwards we couldnt even tell they had been here! Ace Radon did an outstanding job installing my radon mitigation system! The installer (Nick) was very professional and did a great job of explaining what he was going to do, showing me what he did and explaining next steps for me. He worked hard in a crowded, dusty, hot environment and made it look effortless. Nick paid careful attention to ensuring doors/fences were closed for my dog’s safety. Angela who managed the scheduling, quote, etc. was extremely helpful and responsive as well. I highly recommend Ace Radon.

Danielle took my call and was able to schedule me in a very quick amount of time, even calling me back with a cancellation so I could get it done sooner around the basement construction deadlines I had. And when Nick arrived, he explained the process, my choices and answered ALL of my questions. He did a great job!! I was so impressed, I referred my parents to them for their radon mitigation as well. And after follow up testing, my level dropped to .7. I am very pleased with their work and the results!!

Ace Radon was recommended to me for radon mitigation by our realtor. We dealt with Stacey Wacholz. The final cost was $700 more than the original estimate but that is not my main complaint. During the entire process, I had a difficult time reaching Stacey. Our final pCi/L was 4.0, not acceptable. When I inquired about this, my calls and texts were not returned. Not a very satisfying experience.

My family and I have worked with Ace Radon for many years and have only the best things to say about them. When we moved into our house we had them out to test our home and found that we needed mitigation. They were very informative and helpful along the way and the system was very affordable! We have had them out every couple of years to make sure the system was working well and it is. Just this last time Jeff showed us information about an air filtration system we could test in our home for 2 weeks to see if we liked it. My husband has asthma and works out of our home and he found that the air filtration system REALLY helped him. I had a good experience for the install, now 1 year later my system is in a failure status and im calling weekly for 3 weeks to get ZERO response from anyone. So, i guess its all about the install but when the system fails you are on your own...can someone please call me back?

The young man who installed my mitigation was wonderful. He answered all my questions explained the system and how it worked. My basement and outside area were cleaned to perfection. Ace Radon provided a detailed estimate and scope of work. They offer a 25 year warranty on their parts and services. I enjoyed working with Leigh Ann Schieffer and installer Mike Olson. Leigh Ann was able to schedule us within a week of calling Ace, because we already had radon testing completed in advance. Leigh Ann arranged for us to pick up the foam core piping so we could paint it to match our home ahead of the installation. We have a more modern home with a perimeter drain and sump pump, so the installation was quick and straight forward, completed in under 2 hours. In the end, the piping, fan, electrical outlet, and penetration through above our foundation wall looked clean and tidy. The fan is quiet and the lexan lid on the sump pump makes it easy to see into the sump pit while it is sealed. A quality installation and peace of mind! Thanks Ace Radon!

Shame on this company for their fear induced advertising to bank on fears of cancer with people. Ive been full time real estate broker in Colorado for 35 years and worked beside EPA and forensic specialists. Read the scientific facts and there are none that are factual that radon gives you cancer. If people want to do the tests and mitigation thats fine but Ace radio ads falsely bribe people to spend money on their services using verbiage that is disturbing and if thats how they have to get business, which these ads are pricey, shame on them. Radon is a huge money making scam that brings in thousands of dollars based on non scientific facts, consumers beware.Ace, you should advertise without your blatant cancer fear statements. Come on!

Horrible company to deal with. Dishonest and lack of knowledge make this company a scam Was late to one appointment missed another and tried to jack up price after a quote was given Ginny is the biggest lier of them all and to boot they are actually just subcontractoring the local joe in your area. Not a legitimate company. Stay away maybe even run.
