I specifically chose Apollo for the cremation of my son because of the character of Miles. I knew my baby was going to be in the best hands possible. For being one of the most difficult processes I have had to do in my life, Miles helped me and made me feel at ease. It brought so much peace in my soul that someone with so much kindness and passion for his work was with my son. I will forever be grateful for the work that Apollo funeral services does.

Let me start off by saying, I would give Apollo 10+ stars if I could. I cannot say enough as to how wonderful it was working with Miles and Donna. Then, after meeting with Miles and discussing our options, we knew we made the right decision. My grandfather passed away in March and I had no idea how to proceed with funeral arrangements. I found Apollo Funeral on the internet and made a random call. Not only did someone answer the phone on a Sunday, but they were so helpful and explained every detail to me with regard to all of the arrangements for the cremation, services and reception. The chapel was beautiful and literally every little detail was handled to perfection. I was not searching to save money in arranging things for my grandfather, but I was very pleased with the costs as they were very reasonable compared to other establishments that I had contacted. I would most certainly recommend Miles with Apollo.

My mother died September 2, 2013 after a four year battle with terminal cancer. My stepfather was so distraught with the process that I undertook the job of finding someone who would take care of mom with the same love and compassion as her family, doctors and hospice staff. I was fortunate to meet Miles through a mutual friend and business associate in August. Before knowing the full situation he offered his services and support. He was not pushy. He took care of my mother as though she were his own. Miles was gentle with the details and ensured that we were satisfied completely. His prices are BEYOND REASONABLE. He is professional, efficient, eloquent and sincere. Due to the flooding there was a short delay in receiving moms ashes yet Miles notified me as soon as he was aware and made sure I knew exactly when he would contact me. He returns emails and phone calls immediately. I would recommend Miles to anyone. During a very painful and difficult time he was our knight in shining armor. Loss is hard enough. Miles made sure that the dignity and legacy of my mother was not tarnished in the process of caring for her needs after death. Thank you, Miles. My experience with Miles Harford and Apollo Funeral & Cremation Services was nothing but a positive experience during a time that was very challenging. The kindness that was shown to me during a difficult time will never be forgotten. Miles went out of his way to be respectful of what I needed during a time when it was difficult to make decisions. He worked with me and took his time to make sure I was comfortable with my decisions; he also took the time to get to know me and my loved ones which meant a lot to me. I felt like I was leaving my loved one with someone who cared and that was an immense burden lifted from me. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a funeral and cremation service.

Amazing. After a devastating and unsuspecting loss (no lead up time from the standpoint of in the hospital etc) our family was in a fog and at a loss of what to do.Thank God for Apollo Funeral Services. The day my Dad passed away was a horrible day. I was not only overtaken by heartache, but I was completely unprepared for what was before me. I had never planned a funeral service for one of my loved ones and I was not at all ready to plan one now. I had ZERO plans made. I had been with a friend when she was making all the plans for her mother. From the memory of her experience, I was dreading the day when we had to meet with the funeral director. I spoke with Miles the day of my fathers passing and we scheduled a meeting for the very next day. I was scared and I was NOT ready for this meeting. However, we walked into a chapel and was greeted by one of the friendliest young men I have ever met, this was Miles. From the initial meeting and all the way through to the service being over, Miles never let us down. He is extremely detail oriented, listened to every word you said and concern you expressed and had options and answers, had a balance between compassion and professionalism, understood when you were sad and enjoyed the laughter and the stories about your loved one, and his prices were incredibly fair. Fair in todays market is just a word you dont hear and I promise he is fair. From beginning to end, every transaction was PERFECT. No detail left out. His level of communication was top. I made contact several times just to ask a very important, but very simple question and he ALWAYS responded quickly and warmly. I lost my Dad who was also my best friend. I just didnt know how I, plus my family, was going to get through this difficult time. It was hugely made possible by the wonderful direction and advice of our funeral director Miles. My family will be forever grateful to this wonderful young man. He will always hold a special place in all of our hearts.

The prices are nominal. The service is the worst! Miles was over 30 minutes late on both meeting arrangements. He never followed through with catalogs for urns, jewely. Etc.If your not burying your loved one with a big service and all the trimmings. You will be basically ignored. $1,000 for a cremation is reasonable. But with the rude, unprofessional and aloof treatment. Take your money elsewhere!

I am not really sure where to begin with this review other than to say that Miles and his services were an absolute blessing to myself and my family during a very difficult time. Upon the loss of my grandfather, my family and I were asked by hospice where we wanted him to be taken. We had no idea what to do and found Apollo online. Thinking it was a funeral home by our house, we decided this was the best decision. As one could imagine, we were shocked when we went to the funeral home and realized that was not the place we had called. Upon driving to the correct place, we were a bit taken back by the lack of a typically funeral home store front (even though this actually aids in making this process easier). Trusting that everything happens for a reason, we decided to sit down with Miles and see what he had to say. THANK GOD we did! He had a sparkle and was a gift that was very much needed during that time. He was kind and understanding with his presentation. He was gentle and compassionate with his words. He was there to help our family during a dark time, not to up-sell and make money. Everything about Miles and his involvement with my grandfathers service was 100% God-sent. We were so blessed to have him. I am very strong in my faith and one of the things I believe in is Devine intervention. My intent on a very dark night was not to call Miles but another place and I believe without a doubt that God knew my intention was wrong. I believe that he intervened, ensuring that my family had Miles there to help us. I believe that God knew our hearts were so heavy and that the light inside of Miles was going to help us. Once again, he was right. Miles is a true gem and I believe that he is living out his purpose on this Earth by loving people so incredibly well at their darkest moments. My name is jack and i lost my uncle recently in colorado.My online research lead me to choose Apollo funeral services based on their style of open, clear information via their website.All my queries were answered as i read through and most importantly their prices are fair and reasonable as they indicate, there were no issues whatsoever throughout the entire process.We dealt with Donna and she was genuinely helpful, consoling and kind.Donna was also patient with us and made the proccess very simple and straight forward because of her knowledge and expertise in her line of work.She is definitely very good at her job.In our opinion the size of the establishment is not relevant to the quality of service offered, while Apollo may appear small in compariosn to other funeral homes their services and standards are gigantic and they can afford lower prices based on that which is smart business practice.I would like to Thank Donna and Apollo funeral services and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone on a national/international level should they need funeral services of any kind.Thank you Donna/Apollo.
