Best cut I’ve had in a longtime. Finally found my spot! Lucas gave me one of the best fades I’ve ever had. Listened to all my wants and delivered exactly what we discussed.

I just moved back to Denver and needed to find a stylist. I’ve had short hair all my life and it finally occurred to me to just find a good barbershop instead of a fancy salon! Couldn’t have been happier with Lucas at Novo. I showed Lucas a few pictures, talked about what I wanted and voila, perfect haircut! And he’s a great guy too! Well that just took some stress out of relocation!

Lucas was friendly, professional, and exceptionally communicative. He was attentive to my requests and offered his own suggestions based on a thoughtful assessment of my overall style. He also demonstrated his experience and care by explaining in-depth how my hair naturally lays and the best ways to style it with regards to that. Not the cheapest haircut, but a high quality experience. Im certainly planning to continue using this barber.

Lucas is awesome. I always get a scissor cut and get nervous walking into a new barber because some only really do buzzes. Lucas is a master with the scissors, never been disappointed with the results! Absolutely recommend him.

This place is a hidden gem. Nestled at the end of a building its easy to drive past it. But if you need a great haircut - dont pass this place up!Its so hard to find a great haircut. Ive been to great stylists who start getting more chatty and sloppy as time goes on. Ive been to butchers who wanted me to tell them what number theyre supposed to use on the clipper attachment to cut my hair (WHAT?!?), and every so often I luck out and find a quality stylist who actually knows what they are doing. Molly knows what shes doing.Call me crazy, but I go to a barbershop to get a great haircut. I dont need a waiting area with mens magazines and a cigar bar, I dont need countless TVs showing sports and I certainly dont need to get a massage! Bottom-line is I go to a barbershop to get my hair cut. And if I walk out with a bad cut, all the guy stuff isnt going to make it look better.Thats why I love this place. Its a no-frills barbershop where skilled artisans understand how you want to look when you leave and have the ability to give you that look.When I first called this place I tried to get Mallory because she gets some great reviews. Her schedule was booked so I went to Molly. After watching how skilled Molly is with a pair of scissors (no clippers for me thank you) shes my go-to from now on!

Lucas is the Man, squeezed me in last minute before a date. Does an amazing job on my beard trim as well as a stellar skin fade. Highly recommended, especially if your like me and have no idea what you want. Lucas will not disappoint, very knowledgeable and professional.

I called and scheduled an appointment for the next day at 1:30pm for my husband to have a beard trim before his sisters wedding that day. I then repeated the time back to them and received confirmation that it was scheduled at 1:30pm and indicated it was for a wedding. We spent over $30 in an uber to get him there given that everyone was tied up with vehicles and it was a destination wedding. He arrived at 1:26 and was wrongly informed that the beard trim was scheduled at 1:00pm. Not only did the business pick the time, confirm the time with me, but they then scheduled the wrong time on their books. We incurred fees, wasted time, and didnt have a beard trim for a groomsman in a wedding. They werent interested in fitting him in either to cover their mistake. I was looking forward to the great work I read about in 266 other reviews but we were unable to experience that. It was unprofessional.

I had a great experience and cut from Lucas. He was very detailed and took him time on my fade. Too many barbers are quick with the clippers. Lucas was professional and would t recommend his services to anyone.

Lucas is da bomb diggity. He does not just take what you ask him to do and give you exactly that but he works with your hair and makes the hair cut work with your natural flow. He does things that you hope someone cutting your hair will do and he is creative with your hair cut. he does not want you hair cut to last a week, but to last as long as you want and still look good till you inevitably come back cause you looked good for 4 months instead of a few weeks and gotta get that cut again. sick music, and now they offer you beer. im 28 and this is the first time ive ever specifically sought out the same barber. could not recommend higher

So I waited with my refreshing ice cold drink. He finished up with his customer, then sat me down did just want I wanted and came out better then ever. I am so happy I found Mallory and that she did my hair! Even more than a month later and the color has held extremely well and none of my hair feels damaged, even though we did quite a bit of blonde. We also did a cut and I was so pleased with how everything turned out! I have a lot of hair - so we were there for a while - and she was so entertaining and sweet and just fun to be around.Im SO picky with who does my hair, and Im extremely tender headed so I tend to not get it done often. Embarrassingly enough, I have cried more often than not in a hairdressers chair just because everything hurts. Not with Mallory though which amazed me (I did warn her beforehand as I do with all of my appointments but whatever she did worked for me).She helped me find some self confidence that has been hiding for a long time - I didnt realize getting your hair done could do that! Novo Barbers is located in a very nice area right next to Hudson Gardens with plenty of parking. We drive from castle rock, 30min to get the best hair cuts in the state. The barber shop is very clean and bright inside. Matt has been cutting my kids hair and my husbands hair for over 3 years now. He does a great job. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a professional barber.

When you look at photos of the differing styles that represent their work, it may be a good idea to know that the reason I go to Novo is that Sarah is a gifted and truly creative artist. I am saying this as a guy in my 70s who believes Sarahs abilities and calming persona are virtually mystical.

Extremely picky about my barber and have bounced around the city looking for a shop that meets my high standards (a clean, laid back and comfortable atmosphere), and a barber that goes above and beyond and TRULY takes pride in his craft. Ive been going to NOVO since it opened. Its great to have a real barber so close, not a chain salon with rotating stylists. The atmosphere is chill and the cuts, fades, and beard trims are always excellent.

Mallory is the newest addition to this group and I couldnt recommend her more highly. My family followed her from her previous salon and she has continued her high level of professionalism/skill mixed with an incredibly friendly attitude. She makes suggestions but listens to requests, combining the best of both techniques. Additionally, my two boys absolutely adore her and refuse to have anyone else cut their hair. Whether you are looking for your normal cut or something more experimentive, you will not go wrong with Mallory!

Its been many years since I have a quality fade comparable to my military fades. Sarah Knight is one of the best barbers I have had cut my hair. I will be coming here as long as she is here. I am also a fan of Matt Medinas work.

I finally found my local barber. Sarah cut my hair, and the owner Matt got me a beer. The cut was perfect. Sarah took the time to understand what I wanted and made sure every detail was accounted for. She ended with a straight razor on the edges followed by a shampoo and hot towel. Awesome.

Sarah is amazing! My color was botched from a stylist before and I was wary of trying to get it fixed but Sarah totally put me at ease. She had techniques up her sleeve I had never seen before - BEST hair color Ive ever had, and fast! Laid back barber shop, chill music, wine or beer and amazing color and cut!
