Fantastic work, knowledgeable and friendly; I dont trust just anyone with my car. For what more could you ask? These folks are awesome! Thanks again!
Been going to Randy’s for a while now, always friendly and reliable. This time however, I needed new rotors and calipers and I was quoted a price $400 more than another place in town. When I asked why, it was because of parts. Totally understandable. My issue was I wasn’t given a choice, they went for the most expensive off the hop. After discussing this we agreed on a better price so I give them credit for sure. Not sure if there was malice or not, but I’ll likely be taking my business to the place that gave me the better price the first time around. I just want to trust that I’m getting a great price without having to shop it around.
I had a very disappointing experience with Randys. My mother had taken my car in to get the 60K tune up. When she got home, I saw they overcharged me for a cabin air filter. I called to inquire about it and the guy offered me no explanation why it cost $70 when the average is $20-25 for an air filter. All he kept telling me is there are two types of filters, he couldnt explain to me which one was put in my car and why. I kept asking for an explanation as to why the higher priced one was put in my car and all he told me is they didnt make a lot of money off of it (not very professional to say that) and its difficult to put in. Maybe since Im a young woman they played the she doesnt know card but the cabin air filter doesnt take a lot of time to change let alone cost $70. Anyone can do it in a few minutes. (For reference, the cabin air filter is typically found in/behind the glove box and is used installed in a matter of minutes). He also stated they charged 0.6 hours to change the filter and after some quick math, it sounds like they charged $50+ to change the cabin air filter. The guy couldnt tell me if the $70 was from the labor or the part. I just kept getting more excuses and no answers. They also recommended a fuel induction and could offer no reason other than its whats recommended. I felt like there was no explanation for anything that was done to my car or what they recommend. Seems like its price gouging over anything and taking advantage of their customers. I gave the guy on the phone my name and number to call me back after he talked to the owner and I never received a phone call over 10 days later.Personally, if youre a young woman or a female, I would stay far away from this place. They didnt seem to care at all and offered no reasonable explanation for any of my questions. If there was a reasonable explanation for the cost of things or why they needed to be done, I would have been fine with that. But they didnt even bother following up or trying to find an answer.I recommend taking your business elsewhere.
Great service! The team at Randy’s was friendly and communicated clearly. Service was fast and affordable!
As always Randy’s Auto is very professional and do the repair right the first time. I’ve been using Randy’s Auto for 7 yrs now and I’m always satisfied with their work.
Caleb and his team are super friendly and honest. I took my 2001 Toyota Rav 4 in for brake issues and they were unable to fix them properly the first go round due to a special part needed. When I brought my vehicle back in for the second time they knew exactly what to do and what part to use. They didnt charge me for the second time. Highly recommend this place!
Great service. Very friendly and efficient. Will definitely use again and also recommend to friends and family.
I have been taking our 2 cars there to get serviced for the past 3 years! They have always been honest with us and professional! A good group of employees and quality work!
Young man tried to charge me over $450 for a starter. I quickly found another place that would do it for $100. Spend less time on your catchy billboard phrases and more on fair and decent business practices.
This place was great Charlie was extremely helpful very honest and very reliable there’s not very many auto shops out there that don’t take a advantage of women, this is one of them they did a wonderful job I highly recommend and will be returning my business to them !!! good job
First time using them and they were great. Definitely will use them again!
I was having a hard time finding a local repair shop, that wouldn’t charge an arm and a leg. Randy’s definitely met my standards and then some. They were able to get me in and out with a very reasonable price. Definitely my new go to shop. Thanks guys
We have been going to Randys for over 18 years, they have taken excellent care of our cars over the years, even getting rid of one for us when it finally bit the dust. They keep track of past repairs and let you know if there is anything to keep and eye on. When money was tight for us, they worked with us to get the immediate needed repairs done and let us know how long we could wait on others. Weve had our whole family us, parents & siblings go to them. If anyone asks for a good, trustworthy mechanic to go to Randys is the one I recommend.
Ive been taking my Rav 4 to Randys for years now. They are always professional and timely in their service. They are not pushy, but always inform you when something additional to what you brought your vehicle in for might be necessary. As a female, I hate dealing with pushy shops that make you feel stupid or incapable of making the right decision. No one I have ever dealt with at Randys has ever made me feel like that. I love this place.
We have done business with Randys auto care for the last several years! Good customer service, and knowledgeable mechanics! We say that because we had transmission problems on our 2008 Nissan, and the mechanic found out that that model and year had a recall and we got our transmission fixed for nothing! And what they do now is actually reach out to you via text just to see how youre doing and if your car needs any kind of Maintenance! We love that
Car was stolen/recovered. Ended up totalling the car, but Kristen went above and beyond to retrieve something out of my car for me that was from my grandmother. Ive used Randys Auto for years for repairs, they always treat me like Im person, not just an ATM
Transphobic messages left on sign out front, purposely. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, terrible staff.
Randy’s is the best! I’ve been going to them for all my automotive care needs for almost 10 years. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, repairs are done quickly, and prices are always transparent. They are knowledgeable about what they are doing, and take care of me by letting me know what repairs I can expect to need in the near future so there’s never a surprise. Hands down, this is the most reliable and trustworthy auto care shop in town!
Weve been going to Randys for a couple of years now. We started based upon a friends recommendation. The service has always been very professional, yet friendly... Nice people! The charges have always been appropriate and reasonable. They are contientious about notifying us of any items they encounter that might require attention. Always on time, on budget. I highly recommend them; very satisfied.. Always.
I LOVE taking my vehicles to Randy’s! I’ve been coming to them for most of my automotive needs over the past 8 years and have not once been disappointed!Their prices are competitive...their staff is always genuinely friendly and helpful (and I appreciate that that most the staff I have engaged with remember my name...totally makes me feel like a truly valued customer.)....and I’ve not once had to bring my vehicle back because of a faulty or unsatisfactory repair or replacement....I’ll definitely continue my patronage with Randy’s auto as long as they’re in business! And they’ll be referred to family and friends for sure!
The staff has always been very helpful and are very experienced. They explain things to me so I can understand them. I have been going to Randys for years now, dont go anywhere else. I trust them like family. I dont like it when my car breaks down but Randys makes it better.🥰👍
Very knowledgeable with all automotive brands will give you a precise inventory of all repairs done to any vehicle
Always great people. Let me use there loaner vehicle when my car was down. Made the whole experience of getting the car fixed stress free. And they treated me like family. Would recommend to anyone who needs to get there car fixed stress free.
Randys is great! Weve used them several times for different vehicles. They will see you promptly and always perform great service. Their prices are fair and they are a pleasure to work with.
Over 10 years ago we heard Randy on the radio helping call in customers with their vehicles. We decided to make an appointment and for the last 10 years we have been extremely pleased with the service. They did not try to sell stuff we did not need and were very honest with all the repairs that we needed. It is a long trip to Littleton for us but we are so pleased with the service and staff that we will not go anywhere else.
Ive been doing business at Randys AutoCare for a number of years. I needed an oil change and general checkup for my car. I was able to make an appointment with just a couple days notice. The oil change took about an hour then the service writer, Caleb, went over with me what the tech had found during inspection. He used plain English--not techno-babble, which I greatly appreciated. Together we came up with an action plan that my budget could handle. My car is purring now and so am I!
Great service! Friendly, fair, reliable, trustworthy. Upfront about pricing. Doesnt try to get you to do extra services but lets you know if theres something that will need taken care of in the future; like a gasket that is starting to seep, not leaking yet but next oil change it may need done.Just moved to Littleton and was concerned about finding a trustworthy mechanic. I have no more concerns. I found Randys!
Car is running well. The employees are always a pleasure to work with- considerate, helpful, flexible, good communicators with the status of the car, etc. They are consistent in their good work. I’ve been coming here with two car for the last 6+ years.
Randys has been my go-to mechanic for a number of years now and I trust them implicitly. Im very grateful to them for taking such good care of my 2006 PT Cruiser. Always polite, pleasant and fun!
Randys auto is such a wonderful family owned company. They got my car fixed and back on the road immediately! Thank you for everything :)
I know the owners of the business youll take good care of you for your auto needs
These guys do a great job. Everytime. We started going to Randys almost ten years ago. We moved to Texas and were gone for a few years. Now we are back we are trusting them again to take care of all our vehicles. Their prices are very fair, and this family run business is great. Highly recommend. Thanks for fixing my 2004 Infinity. Shes running great. And happy that you repaired my brakes before the snow storm came.
Great service. Caleb and Brian got me in and out for my oil change quickly and efficiently while still taking the time to walk me through any and all other issues to look into on my 05 4runner. Will definitely return.
I have been a customer for over 10 years and gave always expected and received excellent service. I have brought in my Nissan, Toyota, and Explorer with confidence knowing the repair or maintenance would be done timely and well. No disappointments here.
Good guys that will not leave you disappointed
Finding a good, reliable and trustworthy mechanic can be a challenge but Randys meets all this criteria and more. I took my car in for a lot of work it desperately needed and was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. I highly recommend!
Great service and very affordable. Really good guys
We trust Randy’s with all of our car maintenance and repairs! Have been going to Randy’s for over 15 years and they have always been honest and very professional in every way!
Randy is great to work with. He has saved me money several times when I know other business would have taken advantage of me.
Great customer service! They always take care of my Lexus and get the job done right the first time & I’m a timely manner thank you!
Very professional and affordable neighborhood shop.
Customer Service is great. Respectful. Guaranteed NAPA parts. Reasonable labor rates. Caleb and Stephan are the best!😁
Best care and service. Honest and reasonable pricing. Highly recommend them.
Great group of people. They do a great job and quality work on all my cars.
Love this place!!! They have been servicing and maintaining both of my vehicles for almost 2 years now!!! These guys are the best! Excellent customer service, honest people, great prices!! If you are looking for an auto shop for any of youre vehicle needs, this is the place to go to!! I wont go anywhere else!
I went to this shop for a few years with multiple different cars. All of which we have had for a while. I was always a bit uneasy about how much the bills were so this last time I called to clarify parts for my 1993 4runner. I was told it had different suspension that what it did and only convinced the Sales person (Front counter person) after I told him I just looked under the car and saw what it was. I then asked about parts, and he said it would be a small markup. The Moog spring was $25 ea online and after clarifying the part with the front counter person he said it would be $175 Ea for just the part, and another hundred or so for labor. After this communication with him, I have not had any contact with them. Again, I clarified the part with the sales person. I guess, just be aware that the front desk staff is there to sell, and upsell you with a friendly face.
If this hadnt happened to me I would not have believed it. Trying to patronize small businesses and....Showed up at my appt time and nobody booked it. They said they would squeeze me in. My positive clamp was shot and I needed a new one. After some back and forth with them from 10 until 2 about options, I gave the go ahead with the first repair. They then called back to inform me that the only tech who could do it left for the weekend. I had already taken the day off to get the repair, now I had to have one of my chefs cover my Monday morning. Thats 3 days without a car and 2 people I had to move around to cover my shifts for what turned out to be a small repair. My wife called Monday morning at 8:30 and they were finishing up.They cut the old clamp, tied it to a universal clamp. Parts, under $5Repair cost, $364. I really tried to help out the small businesses owner when I can and I got straight up robbed for it.
I brought my car here and was blown away by the care & quality of their work. You can tell they are really good people when walking in and discussing with them. I recommend them highly!
Randys gave me great service, repairs and information!!! The front desk guys saw me get ripped off by the tow truck driver I had chosen. I though oh, great.....wonder how these guys are gonna hose me, now. I AM A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER, HAPPY WITH THE REPAIRS AND, THOUGH THEY COST A LOT, ASSURED THAT I PAID A FAIR PRICE FOR QUALITY WORK AND SERVICE.Casey and his cohort were very responsive to my needs. They kept me advised of progress with my car. The estimates provided NEVER ended up costing more, in fact, significantly less than quoted. I needed major work so spent a significant sum. I dont feel like I spent too much......unusual when it comes to car repairs! I FINALLY HAVE AN AUTO REPAIR FACILITY THAT I TRUST!!
I love this business and the great people there! Randy and his son Caleb are customer focused and community minded. Their mechanics do a great work. I take my cars there because they provide honest, professional and friendly service. Thank you Randys Auto Care!!
Absolutely wonderful customer service very friendly and knowledgeable people as well. They immediately you can helping me as soon as I entered the store, not only that but got my truck in the problem diagnosed and Parts on the way all within an hour and a half. Once Parts got in the immediately began working on it and had it done by noon the next day. (Note-came in at 4:00pm the day before). Will recommend this shop to anyone!
Randys Auto earned our respect and our business good, honest work. Randy has set a high standard for everyone who works for him. You see their efforts from the friendly greeting when you walk in, to the careful explanation of all services, costs and time estimates, to the moment they bring your vehicle back to you.Weve tried other repair shops including dealerships to the quickie places who stick flyers in your door. No one, absolutely no one, comes up to Randys Auto Care. Thats why our family takes all four of our vehicles to them for all maintenance and repair work. Randys Auto keeps us running right!
This place is the best. The absolute best. My family and I will not go anywhere else for our auto care needs ever again. People are great and as far as I can tell their work is just as good. Prices are fair too.
If you want your car fixed right call 1 of Littleton Best family shops 20 yrs or more experience mechanics and owners.
I couldnt believe that Troy would come to my house and get my car started for me after the battery had died for the second time. There was a faulty wire that caused the battery to drain. The mechanics at Randys were very quick to help us get our car back in commission, which was great since we only have one car. Thus far, all our dealings with Troy and the other mechanics at Randys have been fantastic. We would certainly recommend their service.
I would not want to own a car without having Randys to rely on. They have always taken great care of me, and often, did not even charge me for minor things like checking why my light was on, etc. I have been told I needed new tires by another place in Littleton, only for Randy to tell me that my tired just needed to be rotated. I did not need new tires for over a year! They have the best customer service. They are reliable and caring. Nothing is too big or too small for them! And I have recommended many people at my church to them; and they thank me all the time for doing so. Now THAT is service like we used to have but rarely find anymore. They have integrity and have earned my trust for many years, as they have from my friends!
💕 The guys are great! My first encounter was visiting Santa Claus on Christmas!! Then I needed new breaks, rotors, pads this month and the Guys were more than helpful with my unique circumstances also! Family owned and local businesses cant help but keep the money in the Community!
Wonderful car service! They went out of their way to charge me a very fair price on my repair. I couldnt be more happy!
Great place, great prices, friendly staff. They were able to help me same day, which was incredibly helpful. I recommend you come here for service.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew I needed a starter, wanted my tires rotated and an oil change. They repaired it at an outrageous price They charged me a diagnostic fee to look over the rest of my car. They told me I would need a need a battery, I had just installed one myself two years prior. When I went to visit my parents I had their mechanic look my car over (two months later) he said my battery was fine but my brakes were shot (which I suspected) and if I got my tires rotated two months before they should have told me then.
I came down from the mountains with my check engine light on. These people were courteous and professional. They did not charge me to run the diagnostic test on my car, even though a sign posted a shop minimum. Turned out to only be a loose gas cap. I was in and out of there in no time with my wallet intact! I will go back to them when i DO need some work done, for sure.
I bought another car recently from a national dealership chain. After a few months, my car began to lurch at every stop. I took it to the dealership where I purchased it to have it repaired at a discount, but they couldnt find the problem after 2 separate attempts. The lurching got more and more frequent and I didnt have confidence in the car. Thats when I decided to take my car back to Randys just as my wife and I have been doing for the past several years. Within a couple hours, Randys called with a clear plan to solve the transmission problem and exactly what it would cost. I picked the car up that same afternoon and Randys offered to ride with me as I drove it around to make sure I was happy. They always treat me like family and take such pride in the work they do. The problem was diagnosed and repaired the same day! Whats the point of a dealership service discount when the dealership cant fix what I need? Randys gets to the problem when others cant.
Every time and every car I bring them, they are honest. I have NEVER been unhappy with a repair or how I or my daughter have been treated. I would recommended them without hesitation to anyone.
Randy is the rare honest mechanic. He has the old school touch with a new school Crew.
Im always treated with respect when I come here. Ive lived in Colorado for nearly 7 years and am disappointed that I only found Randys last year. Its the only place Ill take our family cars to. Maintenance costs are very reasonable, and you never feel like youre being ripped off. We appreciate the staffs ability to relate mechanic lingo into terms we can understand.
Great service and skill. Had Bilstien adjustable struts put on my 07 Tacoma. Recommended setting to level truck and it is perfect. Got me in and out the same day I called! Great bunch of guys. Highly recommend!
Competent, trustworthy, excellent customer service
I love taking my car to Randys. Not only do they keep my car running smoothly and well, but they dont do anything that isnt needed.I once took my car in to the dealership for a recall issue on the blinkers. They fixed the blinkers (which worked exactly the same as before) and gave me a list of over $400 worth of work that needed to be done on my car.I took the car immediately to Randys to have these things checked. Randy told me that none of the work needed to be done and that the car was fine. Having an honest mechanic is a true joy.
I worked with John. I came in after spinning out in the snow and bending my axle. John was AMAZING to work with! He called me every step of the way and fought with my insurance when they were penny pinching after I filed my claim. He made sure I only received the best parts and really cared for my well-being driving the vehicle afterwards. I would definitely recommend Randys and especially John!
Very friendly customer service, competitive pricing and excellent mechanics. Would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a wonderful experience.Randy, Caleb, Casey and others, thank you for taking such good care of us and our car. We truly appreciate it, and will be coming back again for our future car needs.
We bought a 2003 chevy s10 and the day after, the check in give light came on and it had problems starting. Randys changed the oil, replaced the starter, fuel filter, and checked the car over for us. Rory has been more than excellent, thorough, fair, and completely awesome. I would highly recommend them to everyone. We will be using them from now on with all our vehicles.
Ah-may-zing!!! They went out of their way to keep the cost down on my repair, cheerfully gave me a loaner, got it done extra quick because I was trying to get out of town AND Randy himself took my car to the smog check station to make sure it would pass so I could get my plates that day. Above and beyond service. THANK YOU!!
These guys are awesome, Tyler especially. Theyre polite and do a very thorough job every time. I usually get my car back earlier than expected and they never try to upsell me or convince me to get unnecessary services. Im moving further away from this shop but will go the extra distance just to do business with them.
It is great to find a mechanic you can trust. Randy’s estimates are lower the the previous that I received for my car. He really knows his cars and cares about his clients. Thanks You!
The service was quick but unfortunately I was less than impressed with the attitude and conversation I witnessed while waiting for my oil change. I had used Randys several years ago when I first moved to CO and I was met with friendly and professional staff. This time that was not the case. That was dispointing. I also came in with a discount card and left paying way more than I expected because I guess my oil filter is a more expensive one, Ive never heard that before, and I was not informed before the work was started of the MUCH higher cost I was about to incur.
I have gone to Randys for almost 20 years . They have always been honest with me about what needs to be done to keep my vehicles running well. They are good at letting me know how critical each issue is, to better decide what to deal with now and what can wait for a while. I have never had a mechanical or service-related issue with one of my vehicles since I have been going there.
My family has used Randys for over 20 years & his expert staff has kept over 10 of our family vehicles running beautifully! Many thanks guys! Keep up the good work.
Hands down the best experience Ive ever had with auto repair. Troy and team are fantastic to work with. I will never take my car anywhere else.
Friendly, helpful, & fast! Thanks for all your help!
Randys is where Im going to take my car for as long as Im in the area! Mark and Tyler especially were fantastic. Not only did they describe the problems my car had, they also took me under my car and literally pointed out what was wrong. To be perfectly honest, I dont understand cars as much as Id like to. Not only were they guys at Randys helpful, they never made me feel stupid. Excellent shop, and excellent work. Cant recommend this place enough.
This is an AWESOME Father & Son duo! This team of experts treated me like I was one of the family! They really care about my car, and my families safety! They were completely honest with what my aging car needed! I HIGHLY recommend them to ALL of my friends! Thanks Randy & Caleb!
I called with my engine over heating on a 2007 Dodge Charger and I was in the garage within minutes. Every single staff member I worked with was helpful, friendly, and professional. I don’t think I waited more then 20 minutes for a diagnosis and a perfect solution. I highly recommend this location for any vehicle troubles
My heavily modified JK Rubicon is a daily driver and driven off-road in Colorado and Utah 2 or 3 times a month year round. A fellow member of the Mile-Hi Jeep Club recommended Randy’s so I visited the shop to “check them out.” I was impressed with the qualifications and experience of management and technical staff and the condition of the shop and equipment so I gave them my Jeep for service and a complete checkout. I was extremely impressed with the detailed inspection and resulting recommendations of the staff. I was also angry that they found many items requiring immediate attention that my previous shop had either overlooked or ignored just 3,000 miles before! The inspection, service, and repairs were very detailed and extremely well done. The shop manager, Brett Davis, is an off-road enthusiast, and he was extremely helpful in discussing alternatives and options available to me while insuring that I was not charged for unnecessary repairs. My Jeep drives like a new vehicle and performs better than the day I drove it off the lot. I’ve finally found “my shop” and will recommend it to everyone I know.
Need your car fixed quick and perfectly this is the right place. This teem will take real good care of you and your car.I fully recommend them
I took my 2002 Ford Explorer in for what I thought was a fuel pump and or fuel filter issue. I was quoted about $950.00 to replace both. Seriously! Started calling other auto shops to get other quotes. 3 blocks down the road quoted me for half that. When I went to pick my vehicle up to take to the more reasonably priced shop. I was charged 130.00 for diagnostic. I was told based off of the psi of my fuel pressure which he said was 30 psi and the other diagnostics it was recommended to get the pump and filter. So, I happily paid the price and went down the road. The next place asked what diagnostic test had been done and what codes had populated. When I called back and asked for the codes, I was told that the codes had been wiped prior to my bringing it in and that they did not get any. I drove 3 blocks and had my fuel pressure checked agian and it had magically went from 30 psi to 60 psi. Btw both within the 30 to 65 psi range for my vehicle. When I question Randys about this, all the gentleman behind the counter could say was that sure is wierd. The other mechanic shop did not recommend that I have either of these replaced. When I told them the issue I was having they did some research based off the issues I had reported and tested my battery. Come to find out my factory security system in the vehicle will shut down the fuel pump when it does not have the correct voltage. I went to an auto autopart store and purchased a battery. Randys Auto charged me $130.00 + other shop $80.00 for an educated guess +battery $170.00. Im at $380.00 just to figure out that I need a battery. Randys Auto should be ashamed of this customer experience. At what point, are they accountable for providing miss information about what was done to determine my vehicles needs. I hope this review saves someone time and money.
I have an older jeep and am almost ready to replace the transmission. My check engine light came on and the trans was a little rough, obviously a transmission issue. I brought my jeep to Randys and told them the situation of my shot trans, and asked if there was anything I could do to prolong the life for a little bit. 15 minutes later they told me my transmission was shot and wanted to charge me $100 for the diagnosis....Obviously this is not the repair shop for people who want honest work. They might be able to handle simple oil changes, but dont go here for real work. You will be swindled.
These people change the tire of my car in a very precise time and at a very reasonable and fair price.
Great customer service.
5 months ago i brought 81 chevy in. They were able to properly diagnose the problem. This is when Rory was at the front. Expensive but worth it. I kept bringing the old beast back for this and that, but Rory was gone. Mark was not a good representative. I had to bring it back for warranty issues 3 times before I was satisfied, about the drivability. It was out of timing and carburetor not performing right. But after the 3rd time, now it runs great. I guess you have to be really patient when you spend that kind of money. Glad they honor their warranties!
Great service, they take the time to explain exactly what needs to be done...and timely too!
I love this place. As a woman, Ive had experiences with autoshops assuming that I will just bid and sign the credit card receipt. Randys is great at communicatimy what your vehicle needs and why, even helping to prioritize services to fit your budgetary needs. They are family ow rd and operated and very invested in the area.
I have come to Randys for several years, and I am always satisfied with their work. Keep up the good work!
Always great service. Wont do anything you dont need. Knowledgeable and friendly.
Fantastic operation, I highly recommend!! Thank you for being such an honest and ethical shop.
Friendly, helpful staff, accurate estimates..All around good place for car care!! Thx Randy and staff!!😀
Took my truck in got some major work done and recieved my vehicle back missing my metal skid plate for my 1998 chevy. Consodering it was next to my tool box holding my seat up. Only place it could have gone missing is when it was here, owner has a similar truck as mine hope that skid plate works for him. Empty your cars/trucks of anything that could just walk away when you drop it off here.
SCAM ARTISTS. I came in for an oil change. When I came to pick my Toyota up, I was told I had all kinds of issues with my car. So many that I should be scared to drive it. The quote was about $2,700 dollars. I told him I was going to get a second opinion. He said, he only has one time slot available for the next 2 weeks to do these repairs - which happened to be at 7:30 am the following morning. Convenient huh. I called my normal car guy who specializes in Toyota and he said to bring it by with the detailed quote of what is wrong. I left it there for further inspection and ended up paying about $120 in total. He was able to look at one thing and instantly knew it was a scam. My car guy said the oil filter was 100% not replaced and he was fairly certain my oil hadnt been changed even though I paid for both. Long story short, Randys Auto Care is a scam service center looking to be all nice and customer servicey to take advantage of what most of us do not know. They are very nice, yes. But they are scam artists. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT SCAMMERS AND IF SO GET A SECOND OPINION BEFORE GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY.
Have been to Randys several times over the last few years. Some good, some bad experiences. They advertise free diagnostic but will then try to charge you a diagnostic fee. This time, I called ahead, spoke with Scott and explained my car has a few modified performance pieces, shouldnt change my alignment specs at all. He recomended Lakewood alignment, I called back and spoke with a Tech named Caleb. I explained my cars modifications to him, he confirmed they could do the alignment no problem. Set an appointment and was there early. The tech Scott, tells me hed be willing to do it, but instead of 74.99, it would be $115. Needless to say, I left disgusted. I called back and asked to speak to Randy, they said they would pass my # on to him. Within 1 minute, I got a call back from Scott instead, Telling me Randy had already advised him that they dont work on modified cars. I still insisted Randy call me back. Needless to say, Ive never gotten a call back
Took my Honda Fit in for a misfire, I wanted compression and sensor testing (MAF, O2 etc) because I had already changed spark plugs. After paying $80 for a diagnostic, they told me I dont have the super duper spark plugs, and its $180 to replace them. $180?!! For spark plugs? No way. So I left and replaced the plugs myself with the exact ones they recommended. Sure enough, that wasnt the problem. Then, when I came back they said the plugs werent gapped and installed correctly which is bull, because Im no idiot about cars, I just cant do certain things because not all of us have a freaking auto shop in our garage. Did they diagnose and identify my problem with the $80 I paid them (already an egregious price by the way)?? NO. They refused to actually diagnose the problem and talked to me with a condescending elitis attitude, like Im an idiot. I want my car diagnosed, or my money back. A complete joke.
Had a number of issues going on with my Subaru and they were able to determine the problem and fix it very quickly, excellent customer service I would definitely go back.
