Exceptional academy with great instructors who truly want the best out of every single student who signs up. Ive learned SO MUCH after joining years ago and would encourage anyone who wants to discipline themselves while learning a great traditional martial art to do the same. Team ATA!

My son just started, he absolutely loves this and has been more respectful and he cant wait too return each time. We started him because he was being bullied in school a lot, he now has been happier when returning home from school and says momma nobody hits me anymore because I stand up too them. I am proud of him and glad we put him in this !

I take class with my wife and 2 kids. Its one of the best family activities we have ever done. Its great exercise and the staff is wonderful. Theyre good teachers that motivate you in a really positive way. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

My wife and I signed up on their website for a free 2-week tryout that was supposed to include a free uniform. When we arrived, we were told we would need to pay $25 for the uniform and to be able to attend 5 classes (spread out over two weeks). So, calling a 2-week tryout with a uniform free is a very loose use of the term. Nevertheless, we did pay the $25. Master Monica Smith then instructed my sons first class (she was substituting for the normal instructors, who were away at a national taekwondo convention). Master Smith was exceptional and my timid 3-year old son responded very well to her. Master Smith exhibited great command of the class with about 6 kids between ages 3-5 and made it fun and educational. As the class ended, my wife and I were thinking this was going to be perfect for our son. Afterwards, we were asked to speak to a support staff lady to talk about signing up for a contract or monthly tuition plan. This lady said that until January 31, they were running a special by waiving the normal $500 sign-up fee. It became immediately clear at this point that we were being led down an expensive trail. She then said that the monthly tuition cost was $197. After recollecting my composure, we politely said wed think about it and left. I know places like this have rent and salaries to pay, but $197 a month for one kid is exorbitant, in my opinion, and certainly beyond my familys budgetary abilities. Once we take advantage of the 5 classes we paid the $25 for, we will not return.

Staff encourages kids to continue to better themselves, mentally and physically. I enjoy my kids learning to protect themselves and increase their self esteem.

Pressured to sign longterm contract, terms of which were deliberately misrepresented. They will tell you you can cancel at anytime, what they dont tell you is that to do so you have to move and then you get the option of a buyout. The training was more about building self-esteem than physical competence. This is the worst kind of place, referred to as a belt mill by those in the business, completely focused on extracting as much money from you as possible, zero ethics. Run away!In response to owner response:So nice of you to offer to better serve me after refusing to at the time despite multiple chances, then continuing to bill me for 6 mo., and in regards to exactly that:I spoke to your business manager extensively about my situation at the time, the same person who misrepresented the terms of the contract when I signed it, and she refused to cancel the contract a few days later, and I accurately reported how she misrepresented those terms.I also spoke in person to the CFO of your parent corporation, who spoke directly to your owner about this, and he reported back to me that she was not going to do anything about situation.Accusing me of misrepresenting my review in regards to your business practices because of when it occurred is clearly your only defense, I guess truthful reviews are having an impact.Instead of attacking me for telling the truth why dont you instead explain how you have reformed your business practices?Perhaps because you have not?

Worst service I have ever received. They force people to sign a contract for a year or two on false promises. I am the latest victim of that. I know many people are also stuck in the same situation. If you want to learn martial arts, then avoid this school.
