Maxwell has fixed several of my phones hes fixed one phone screen 4 times I believe and one of those he didnt charge for. He treats everyone like family, hes very professional. They always stay busy so YES if the place is unorganized its cuz he dont have time to do it himself. If someone dont like the looks of his place yall should clean it or just dont go in there. My experience at Maxwell Smart was cordial. The brother treats you like family from the moment you walk in the door. Ive read several of the reviews on here...and it is my opinion that some people may be misconstruing Mr. Maxwells reception of his customers. I got a strong feel of the aura of your traditional mom-and-pop shop treatment from Mr. Maxwell that you dont get to experience much anymore with everyone feeling they have to be so politically correct. I do not consider it at all unprofessional the way Mr. Maxwell operates his own business. I enjoy his conversation and his joviality. He is a positive person and has good energy.My experience with his service has been exemplary each of the two times that I have entrusted computer repairs to him. With my last experience, I told Mr. Maxwell, myself, that I believed that my power port or computer jack, whichever is the correct reference, was shorting out or faulty. He quoted me $80 to fix it and an eta of Monday. I dropped it off on a Saturday. I called Saturday morning. Mr. Maxwell informed me that my computer was ready to be picked up, and that, he did not, in fact, have any problem with the jack. He said that he power cord that he was using plugged up and charged the computer fine. When I got to his shop, I showed him my power cord, and he immediately recognized a small cut in my power cord that was certain to be the reason for the short. He adjusted my price to $40 for the power cord he sold me and we went on to share intelligence about our mutual love and intrigue with Black History!Mr. Maxwell...we got your back. You are only human, and it is understood that you cant satisfy everyone. There will always be an unsatisfactory experience with any business. As-Salaamu Alai-kum, Brother!

If I ever needed a laptop fixed again, I will most definitely be returning to Maxwell. Everyone that I went to told me it would be around $300 to get my screen fixed. Or they told me I needed a new laptop. But whenever I went to Maxwell it was only $80 and he had it fixed QUICK! I called him at 3:44 to make sure I was at the right place, went inside, and told him about my laptop. He called back at 6:19 telling me it was ready to be picked up! I would most definitely recommend, he’s quick, has affordable prices, and he even engages in conversations. Amazing Business!

I can only say that I received my money back due to him not being able to fix my ipad. His business must be sought after because he was always busy fixing something. He was very nice and pleasant to speak with. I believe that if he hand extra bodies to help with his business it would run faster. But he is in the business for himself so it would go against the grain due to him having to employ extra people. I wish him nothing but best and continue to strive in life and in business.

Very unprofessional!!! Please do not go there! He broke my phone and caused me $350 repair!! Walking around the store smoking cigarettes and walking barefoot like hes at home.. I will be reporting him to BBB also. And please go check out his reviews on YouTube. I have my whole experience with him in the comments below. Run!! He will damage your technology and lie like he didnt do it!!

Great guy. Reasonable prices. 40 bucks to fix most anything. If theres a problem hell take care of it. Last time I was in, I had 2 computers striped and screen put on another. The screen I got from ebay wouldnt work. I had to buy another from Dell and even though he had to do the work twice there was no extra charge

Disagree. My computer has been with him since before Thanksgiving and I still have yet to hear anything. Ill be by today to pick it up, fixed or not!!

Ive lived in little rock all my life and have been seeing this store since I was a little boy. I wanted to believe in this guy but he ended up letting me down after all that talk. Worst 400 dollars I ever spent. Claimed he had been doing grillz for years but i purchased one that I havent even worn but once and already its fading and has a greenish color to it. I TOOK VERY GOOD CARE OF IT. Not to mention i took it to be inspected after he claimed it was 14k but its completely FAKE and he claims he gets them from Texas so no refunds...No more support your local business for me and you can thank MAXWELL for that.

Was suppose to get a phone fixed. They had to order the piece. I called a few days later he said it would be a couple of days he would call me and I never heard back from them.

So I went here to get my phone screen fixed, because he told me he would fix it in the same day. He told me from the jump it would only take an hour and a half to fix my phone screen. I come back and he says it won’t be ready till tomorrow ( keep in mind this was on Tuesday). Everyday until today he promised it would be ready later that day or “tomorrow”. It ended up taking 3 days instead of the hour and a half he promised and gave my some bs lie about the screens not making it. What kind of repair shop doesn’t stay stocked up on materials? No wonder this place is hanging by a thread.

Great people, great pricing, lead time was a week longer than promised but he kept me updated so it wasnt an issue.

His business Looks nothing like the pictures, it is very un organized..A friend took my computer to Maxwell, and when we were never called to pick up my computer, we went to check on it, and he couldnt locate the computer, and he allowed me to look through the clutter for my computer. He looked at his cameras and realized that he had given my computer to the wrong person, and I am still without a computer because doesnt know who he gave it to, and he refuses to replace it. DO NOT USE HIM!!

Always professional and dose grate work

He is ok. Not the best. Took the wifi off my laptop when I brought it for him to take care of the virus. I had to bring it back and wait for him to put it back on. Believe he goes through pictures and what not. Wish he could do a lot better.

Maxwell knows computers...great customer service

Hung up on me. Asked if they repaired power ports. Walked in the store 10 min later and its not busy and looks organize. Obviously dude takes money from low income fams with no tech knowledge. I usually wait till after service but dude obviously can pick and choose who to be stuck up to. Good luck

Some one from the Dee brown Libary stole my laptop and I stop by to ask had some brought in recent the laptop to get a new os put on it. Claim he would look at cameras and never call me back.
