Rick did a great job of insulating the pipes at our lake house. Since we don’t live there full-time, he gave us updates on his work throughout the time that he was there. We appreciated his professionalism and courteous demeanor :)

Called Ray Lusk Plumbing due to a busted water line under the house. They were able to come out the same day I called which was amazing since we had water turned off to 2 homes. The technician was very friendly and professional. Had the leak fixed in no time. This is the first time we have used RLP and will definitely use them when needed in the future.

Replaced failing gas line. Very professional. JD was very careful around existing structure and trees. Great job on restoring ground levels to previous condition. All in all Ray Lusk Plumbing is at the top of the list for any future required plumbing work.

I called this company to see if I could obtain an estimate on a few plumbing issues we were experiencing. The person answering the phone stated it was difficult to give a blanket or ballpark price over the phone, which is understandable. The technicians would give me a free estimate. The two techs came and gave me a separate price on all of my issues, they informed their services were $222.00 per hour plus parts and tax. I showed them the leaking pipe area however, we had performed most of the digging for them, they didnt have the small PVC pipes required, they had to leave one or 2 times to purchase PVC pipes and materials which took time. Tech informed me to complete the other 3 issues I had the fee would be an additional 222.00 per hour for each job plus parts and tax, which was not affordable for us at the time. He contentiously stated their fees were high because they were licensed and bonded, which cost. The billing charges which was 399.52. I called the office to obtain a breakdown of the billing and was told I was given a flat rate because the techs had been here from 1PM to 3PM which was not true, the charges didnt match . The female answering the phone gave me an incorrect explanation which I pointed out. Her explanation, the techs explanation and the billing statement didnt match. My husband and I decided to drop the inquiry because ultimately we got the worst issue resolved. We will not use Ray Lusk to complete the other issues.

Josh was very professional and informative during the estimate as to what route he would take to move part a water line and old gas line in our crawl space so we can finish heat and air duct work later.He and an assistant accomplished the task sooner than predicted. The plumber that you sent out was very professional and get a great job. I am 100% pleased with him and his work. I was not happy with your office because you charged me 4 work you did not do. The bid you gave me included running a line through my attic all the way across the house 2 an exterior faucet. When Jacob got into the wall he discovered that that line was okay and did not need to be replaced. After finishing he did lower the price of the job but the office would not approve it. He was very nice about it and I have no complained about him but your office charged me for work you did not do. I did pay the original bid on the contract and I feel this is very unfair. The work that was done was very quality and Jacob was great.

Aaron is expert at clearing my outside lines that once a year get clogged by roots. He is always there when I need him, knows where to clear my lines and is always polite. The price is a little high, however.

My pantry floor was wet and I was so afraid that I would have to buy a new hot water heater. I called Ray Luck in a panic and they worked me into their schedule.A gentleman named JD came as soon as he could. He was pleasant, professional and very knowledgeable.The leak was not in my heater, but in a corroded pressure valve, which he replaced, explained to me what he had done and why, packed up and was gone in no time.Ray Lusk was very reasonable and I am very satisfied.Thank you Ray Luck and thank you JD!

I havn’t used this company yet but my daughter did and I was there at her home while they did what she hired them to do and I was very impressed with the two worker that did the work. They went to work and got the work done much quicker than I expected. I had them out to give me an estimate on some work and they showed up when they said they would and again I was impressed with how easy it was for him to tell me exactly what we could do to get done what I want to get done and was given an estimate before he left. I had a great experience! I called about a water leak and had a plumber there early the next day. Rick (the plumber) was able to find the source of the leak. He immediately obtained parts and fully repaired the issue 2 days later. Rick called often to keep me updated on the progress. I was nervous the process would be a nightmare because of past experiences with other companies. I was so happy that this was so easy! I have a few other projects I’ll be calling them about in the near future.

The plumbers were courteous, on time, professional, and took a lot of time explaining my options. They moved a pressure regulator that was improperly installed and also found a leak and repaired it. Their bill came in under the estimate. I am happy with their work and professionalism.

Excellent service! Nicholas, the tech, did not leave until the job was complete, what started as a drain clog turned into a leaking pipe, which he fixed. Three days later the pipe clogged again and Nicholas returned, after normal working hours, and determined the clog was on the city side. The city came out and fixed the city clog. Will definitely use Ray Lusk again. Excellent service!

We called for a leaking garden faucet - the process right from the start was prompt and professional, and the tech made every effort to diagnose the problem and repair it first, before setting us up with a new replacement part.The first part was so fast that I went ahead and mentioned some other minor issues, and he immediately called the cause, climbed under the house and confirmed it, then repaired it on the spot.Practically a perfect experience!

Provided great service, but I was unable to receive my military discount. Repairman said he was unable to give discount due to he had already ran my credit card. I would have given service a 5 star otherwise. I don’t understand why he couldn’t cancel the transaction apply the discount & then rerun my credit card. I didn’t think to ask why he just didn’t do that until after he had left.

I called Ray Lusk for a second opinion because the original company wanted to dig up our backyard to track a clogged or cracked pipe. Ray Lusk sent a team over and they found the clog (inside) and charged a service fee to clear it. Took 10 minutes and I’ve called them ever since. We have an old house so we’ve become “frequent flyers” at Ray Lusk. They’re prompt, they have resolved every issue I’ve called about, and they’re often able to fit me in the same day that I call. Highly recommend!

Our issue began with what we thought was a bad hot water heater that turned into having leaks in our slab. We needed someone asap due to being without hot water for days. After calling every plumber in a 50 mile radius, Ray Lusk Plumbing was the only one there for us. They ran new water lines through our attic and down the walls to prevent future issues and get our water restored. They were fast and efficient as well as polite, funny and professional. Sean was wonderful! Our water heater broke/started leaking after hours and Sean walked me though how to turn everything off over the phone as soon as I called. Took leak detection and another trip w trackhoe to repair a leak 4’ from the meter. They responded quickly and did a good job. Just expensive at $900.

Tony Smith came out and it took him about 20 minutes to discover that I have a broken sewer line. The sewer guys from Ray Lusk are coming back out in 2 days to make the repair. They would have come back sooner but its the weekend. I was very impressed.

My experience with Ray Lusk Plumbing has been deplorable. I was charged almost a $1000 to locate and repair two water leaks. The plumber advised that 40 of pipe be replaced due to the possibility of additional leaks at joints in the future, and stated it would be close to another $1000. While waiting for the additional quote the initial leak was never repaired, just located. Prior to receiving the quote I was called and required to make a payment on the first repair, even though it wasnt complete. Shortly after I received a quote for 3,400. I called the plumber and he told me it was a mistake and that it shouldnt have been sent to me, rather to him, and that he would have it corrected. Shortly after I received a text from the plumber that stated office said thats the price. I spoke with the plumber moments later and he stated the price was in fact outrageous. He apologized profusely, and offered to give me the number to another plumber. At that time I asked him to mark where he detected the leak and I would have it fixed, he never returned to mark the spot. I received the quote via email from James Willis. I have sent James two emails asking for a call, he has yet to respond.

My wife called them about a backed up septic tank. A plumber came over promptly, looked at the situation and told us they couldnt diagnose the problem because the septic tank was backed up (which we knew), possibly because of a faulty pump, but he could not tell. Then he charged me $150 diagnostic fee to tell me that he couldnt diagnose the problem. He was there for 10 minutes.I was very disappointed in the value of the service I received for that much money. I would not recommend this company and will not call them again.

The plumber, Don, was friendly and efficient. He gave me the quote before he started the repairs so that I could decide if I wanted him to do the work. I would use Ray Lusk Plumbing again.

The technician was unable to clear our clog. He spent about two hours working on it. We ended up calling a rooter company that specializes in unclogging drains. The cost from Ray Lusk was $150. And the technician definitely gave it $150 worth of work.. we have used a Ray Lusk on to previous occasions. To completely replumb our old house and to install a tankless water heater in our new home. Even though he was unsuccessful, we more than likely will still use a Ray Lusk for some projects in the future.

Our water heater started leaking on a Sunday evening. Called the emergency number and got a callback from Sean. Explained what was happening and he was here within the hour. Removed the old water heater and installed a new one. Even hauled the old one off. Would highly recommend Ray Lusk Plumbing.

I called and someone was out in 2 days, and because it was not an emergency, I was ok with the wait. They called when they were coming, and let me know when they were finished. I was not home at the time, but the technician let me how what he found, and how it was fixed.

The plumber (Sean) seemed to take joy in giving me an outrageous estimate. It took 30 minutes for Sean to write the $900+ dollar estimate. I contacted another licensed plumber who completed everything on my list within an hour start to finish; I gladly paid the $155.I was annoyed that Ray Lusk’s technician wasted my time and wouldn’t recommend them to cat sit!

Our problem happened on a Saturday morning and it was a supply pipe that had been gnawed on in two places by a rat. Sean was the oncall and he was at our house within an hour of our first call. The man who came was very friendly and knew what he was doing. He fixed several problems with my sprinkler system, from two zones not coming on and one zone not going off to fixing leaks in the pipes from a recent drainage project. He didnt stop until it was all taken care of and we were sure that he had found and fixed all the leaks. If I have trouble with my sprinkler system in the future I definitely want him to come and fix it.

It was a difficult job as my HWH is in my attic, every obstacle their technicians ran into they over came and consulted me along the way. Never responded to form submitted online. Phone call was returned promptly. Work seemed ok. Be aware that weekend rates are VERY, VERY, somewhat unreasonably, expensive.

Before calling Ray Lusk plumbing, I would be sure to get additional estimates. I didnt do this and feel that they took me to the cleaners!I was charged me $4,400 to replace a Rianni tankless water heater that went out. I researched the specific model after the fact and found that they retail for $1,400 so I essentially paid $3,000 for a couple hours of work they did to install (which was removing old and putting in new). On top of that, I never got my estimate (they had my wrong email) and when I got my invoice after the work was done it was not broken out so I have no idea how they justified $4,400 in terms of labor, parts, etc.What really put me over the top is that my water heater was in a metal recessed box on the exterior of my home with a cover that slides in place. Well the new heater did not fit into the box and the cover on my water heater would not go back on (see pictures) because the replacement tank was bigger and didnt fit into my recessed box like it should. I had to find a metal fabricator to take my cover and cut a bigger exhaust hole to fit it back at my own expense and Ray Lusk should have made me aware of this BEFORE doing the work. Also, that Friday when I went to take the cover off to take it to the fabricator I saw that my brand new $4,400 heater was LEAKING and they werent going to come fix it until Monday. I called into escalation team and they did send someone out and fix at no charge (loose fitting) but why should I have to escalate a leaking heater that was 2 days old? My manual was inside the box and got ruined from all the water.My advice is to get multiple quotes, I feel that I got ripped off and nobody in management will call me back after I filled out their contact form on their website requesting to talk to someone. I will never use them again!

Did not install the water line correctly and flooded my shop and crawl space. They showed up and connected the feed line but left the toilet flapper open and water ran for 8 days.

After a quick google search we came across Ray Lusk, and we choose them based off the good reviews we saw.The lived up to it!! We called on Wednesday with issues of high pressure and leak, Mike came on Thursday, and was able to install a new pressure regulator in less than an hour. He was courteous, knowledgeable, thorough, and tidy. The pricing was far more reasonable than what some of my neighbors have paid for a similar issue. I would highly recommend him for your plumbing needs!!

Edit:They sent a technician back out who went above and beyond to try to fix her problem. He was very courteous and very diligent. They also didnt charge her anything else. It was functioning properly when left, but has malfunctioned a couple of times after that. At this point, Id say they really have done all they can do. The problem is the water heater itself. Its a brand new AO Smith tankless water heater that came with the house. I would strongly recommend that you stay away from these types of water heater, and stick with the tried n true tank water heater. Itll save you money and frustration in the long run! BTW, the tech also came several days earlier than they said he would. So, Id say their service is good, tankless water heaters are not! Im leaving off 1 star because of the first tech they sent, definitely not professional at all.Previous post:They have been to my mothers house 3 times, collected over $1000 from her, and replaced her water heater (under warranty), and it still only works when it wants. Ray Lusk, who we hired to fix the unit, now says they cant do anything else and to contact the manufacturer. AFTER CHARGING MY MOTHER OVER $1000!! Doesnt sound like fair business practices to me, but apparently thats just how they operate. The service manager didnt even have the manners to speak to me in person and had the secretary relay the message that they had done all they could.

I will never use Ray Lusk plumbing again. We used them in January once for a leaking sink and they spent less than 5 minutes investigating the issue but the charge was $135. After correcting something based on their recommendation, the sink continued to leak! We attempted to have them come back out BUT we have been unable to get a call back from them despite submitting several requests. If you need someone reliable look elsewhere! We did and are very satisfied with another local company.
