Paid in July for a gas dryer and delivery was set for 8/18 with a 14 hour window. On 8/17 delivery was confirmed. At 1030 on 8/18 received an automated call that the delivery was canceled. When I called CS, i was told that they had not recieved the dryer, even though the website stated it was in stock at time of online order and to call back to reschedule the delivery. The next day, when I tried to reschedule the delivery, I was told the dryer had come in damaged and it would be another month to get another one in because they had to make another one for me. It a dryer.... nothing custom. If I get delayed again, I will request a refund and go somewhere else. Lowes told me upfront it would be 2 months. At least they were honest, I think.....
Serviceman was very nice, but he charged me TWICE for the charge of $129.71.
On time, answered questions, gave detailed explanation of problems and reasonable options for repair: 11 yr old LG front loader washing machine
The repair person was excellent. The whole experience dealing with Sears was not. I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment with no assurance they would have the parts when they visit. I have a service contract and this is totally unacceptable. The same thing happened in November when I had a washing machine that quit. Will have to rethink renewing in November when my contract is up. Also there is no way to contact a person in customer service. The only number is the appointment desk.
Theyre good and on time,and a little pricey
Tried to get a hold of them for a part for a kenmore dryer.Went through the silly automated system for about 30 minutes before hanging up and calling back, choosing to schedule a repair this time. Of course, that went right through.After talking to them, I was told I would have to order a part that would take 1-3 weeks to get here. Amazon had the same part for 1/2 the price and will be here in 2 days.So unless you really need someone to fix your stuff and dont mind sitting on hold / dealing with automation for a half hour, mosy on down the road to somewhere else.
