I called to ask for help and Allen personally brought a replacement tile cutter to my house ten miles away and made sure it was working properly. Who does that now days! Thank You! Thank You! Do not rent their Bobcat with Brush Mower attachment. I have never paid so much for a machine that performs so poorly. I’ve rented many machines in the past for a variety of applications and have trusted their advice on what would get the job done, but do not, under any circumstance, waste your time or money on their Bobcat with a Brush Mower.Here is a short list of the problems of using a skid steer Bob Cat for this particular application:- No effective suspension to speak of so you get thrown around the cab like a piñata- The way the skid steer turns creates deep ruts and further problems when trying to make the tight turns necessary for mowing- Low clearance causes the machine to easily high center which causes steering problems and can cause the attachment to veer off in a variety of directions- No wheels on the front of the mowing deck so the attachment easily tears into the ground when the machine high centers or goes over any moderate dip or rise in terrain- Hydraulic drift causes the mowing attachment to constantly need readjustment to the proper height- The slow speed of a Bob Cat and requirement to constantly press forward on the controls to maintain forward motion create excessive operator fatigue- The position of the attachment in front of the machine means you will literally be taking a pollen, seed, and dust bath as you mow (there is a reason most brush mowers are tow behind by design), I cannot emphasize how extreme of a bath we are talking about here- The position of the attachment also means it can not effectively discharge the cut material and will bog down almost constantly (yet another reason most brush mowers are tow behind by design with the ability to eject material out the back)- They will not allow you to pay for a damage waiver on either the Bob Cat or mower deck when rented together. This was not a problem for us, but it should tell you how concerned they are about the effectiveness and durability of this tool combinationWe rented this machine for a full day to do a job we anticipated taking 6-7 hours to complete. After roughly 2 hours we gave up on using this machine as it was obvious to us that it would not do the job. This turned out to be a giant waste of time and money and now we need to find a different solution. Learn from our mistake and do not even bother renting a skid steer with mowing attachment. It doesn’t matter what they tell you, it will not do the job.

Such great staff! Picked up my equipment at the Spanish Fork location but was running short on time so dropped it off in lindon. They were friendly and understanding. Will definitely be using them again!

Rented a trailer. They said have back by 5 and they won’t charge a late fee. Dropped it off at 4:45 and they still charged me a late fee.

We always use this place for our rental needs, every one seems to be kind and courteous, but the owner Shantae, shame on this lady, she is nothing less than rude, you should be the one with more customer service skills, even more than the people working for you!!

Rented an enclosed trailer. Pricing was competitive, service was 100%, trailer was 100% and all-around theyre a quality business. Family owned which means I will now rent from them first from now on.

This is a family-owned business thats why I continue to go to them they are so good to service the things Ive got I had a pull rope that broke on one of my Honda motors and the owner just fixed it up for free what a pleasant surprise thank you ace rents

Rented a boom lift. All went well except for the handbrake while I was using it and when I returned the machine. First you are supposed to take if off the hitch when you use it. I did that every time. But when I pulled the hand brake the unit would still roll so I would have to pull on it to get it in place and lower it onto my hitch using the front trailer wheel. Wasnt a big deal but it was obvious the brakes were worn.When I returned the machine I pulled up, 2 guys came out and before I got out of the car they are playing with the hand brake saying that the brake had been on while I was driving. One guy touches the brake drum and says its hot and he burned his finger. Now I am with my wife and there is zero brake smell, no smoke, nothing. And the trailer has surge brakes so when you stop the brakes get activated. I tend to stop hard so I am sure the surge brakes were used. And guess what. Brakes get hot from normal use.The guy who touched the brakes runs inside and tells the girl at the front desk. All this happened in the span of 2 minutes. I had just finished trimming trees and was beat so I was a little slow in processing everything. Remember absolutely no smell or smoke. I go inside and the girl starts doing things with my file not saying a word to me directly. She mumbled something about brake assembly and I said what exactly is that. She said the brakes were on fire and I was going to need to pay to replace the assembly. I said the brakes barely even worked in the first place and there is no smell of brakes but Im supposed to pay for a whole new set up.We all know if you leave the emergency brake on you will smell them very quickly. I drove from Lehi to Lindon on the freeway and there was zero smell. So if I had the brake on, the brakes were worn so bad that it didnt matter or I did not have the brake on and not to imply anything but maybe this is their gig on getting things fixed. It has to be one of the those two.No one asked me how things went. It was all about the brake before I got out of the car and yes I was going to tell them they didnt not work and the unit rolls even with it on.Again the machine worked great while using it. I just dont think it is fair I should have to pay for completely new everything when they were not up to par to begin with. And when you arrive the guys should wait and not touch anything until you get out of the car to see it as well. It just happened way too fast. In the end when I objected the girl at the desk said fine, next time take your business elsewhere because she cannot afford to have people mistreat their equipment.I had that machine for a week back and forth from Lehi to Spanish Fork everyday. Never any brake smell. They were bad to begin with. If I even had the brake on.

Ace Rents is much more expensive than other equipment rental providers. The price was more than double to rent the exact same matchine offered at Timp Rentals. The service department is very courteous and professional, but I was met with an abrupt No we wont match Timp Rentals price because the equipment they rent is not as good as the equipment we use here. But I had already used the same machine (Billy Goat, overseeder) from Ace Rents the week before, as well as the one from Timp Rentals, and they are indeed the exact same machine, same manufacturer, same year, same look, same everything. But the one at Ace costs $200 for a 24 hour rental, and the one at Timp costs $90. When I informed the representative at the front desk that it was in fact the exact same machine for less than half the cost, she said, Well thats surprising, but no we will not price match. So dont expect to get the best price here. But other than that, as mentioned, I have been very happy with their service department and follow up.
