We had a scheduled lift for today with another company, unfortunately they called us last minute to inform us the crane had broken down. I had to scramble and was luckily referred to Out of the Woods ... they responded like pros. Not only did they perform a great lift for us, but they kept my job on track and on time! As soon as I hit post on this review, Im calling them back to schedule our next job. Great service!

They are very professional, always on time or early. They have fair prices, and with multiple cranes and drivers they are easy to schedule. Theyre drivers are very experienced and professional, especially Trevor and Jeremy. I would highly reccomend them.

I called and asked for a quote, I was given a price much lower than I expected. I booked the appointment. They showed up on time and were very professional. Whatever they are paying their operator that came to my job (I think his name was Trevor) they should double it!!! Was very impressed.

Used service on an important job . Simple steel structure . Crane operator instructed crew as to rigging for lift . The result was severe damage to the part to be lifted and a lot of costs on our part after. They admitted no fault and caused a lot of extra expense on our part . Ive worked with many cranes before and must say ... Pay the extra and get the company you know and trust ...even if it requires additional travel costs.

Hands down the best Crane Service in Utah!!! So glad we switched from the most worthless crane (wagstaff) service to Woods. Woods has NEVER left us hanging and have always been early. Dont waste your time or money with any of the other crane services.

I work for Parleys PPM Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling, and we use these guys all the time. Theyre always professional and on time. Removing commercial rooftop units is a dangerous job but these guys are well qualified and I trust their expertise.

I was disappointed with the experience I had with this crane company when I hired them to move a playhouse. They arrived 20 min early while I wasn’t even there but didn’t do anything to start setting up. They then informed me that they didn’t have a spreader to prevent damaging the shingles on my playhouse but wanted to proceed anyway. I wasn’t about to pay $300/hr to have my playhouse damaged because they forgot the correct equipment. So they called someone to bring it to them. After about 20 minutes of wasted time waiting for the spreader they were finally ready to hook it up and asked me how I wanted it hooked up. I said, “you’re the crane operators, I was hoping you would know how to hook it up.” They then suggested we hook up to the eyebolts that I had just installed to hook the playhouse to the trailer....which only had 1/2” washers and would have surely ripped my playhouse apart. I suggested we string the webbing under the playhouse, which is why it was sitting on blocks. Once we did that, they were then perplexed as to how to hook the slings to the spreader, which required them to get on top of the playhouse. At this point, I was frustrated by the slow moving problem solving so I just hopped up on the playhouse and hooked everything up myself. After the playhouse was moved and everything was said and done, i was informed that even though it had taken 100min, there was a 120min minimum...which is an inappropriate time to inform your customer of minimum charge amounts.Ultimately this crane service was underprepared, seemingly inexperienced and not great at customer service. I would never recommend them.
