Johns Service also known as JAK Enterprises in Lindenhurst, NY are Rip off artists and scammers. BEWARE!!!Called to check on pool heater making clicking sound. After quick check, Johns brother Rich stated I needed a new heater and he disconnected the plumbing. He recommended to buy new heater with him tacking on another $400, for over $3,500 total. He stated they dont make indoor pool heaters anymore so he would also work on my plumbing and gas line. That turned out to be a big lie.I called another company, All Star Pools in Nassau County. I spoke with Chris and the appointment was set up by Debra. It didnt take long for their technician to realize the heater worked well and there is no need to replace it. The clicking sound stopped and we enjoyed a heated pool. Needless to say, I recommend All Star Pools for their honesty and knowledge.
