Love the people at the Lincolnton post office, have always had a good experience with them. I collect Earnhardt diecast and order them online weekly. I was concerned with them being left on my poarch in the open so I contacted the post office and asked if they could hold my packages at the post office for pick up and leave me a notice in the box, the lady said that wouldnt be a problem and she understood my concern. I look forward to picking them up because Im always greeted with a smile.

Our post masters in Lincolnton are the best. Today I had been waiting on an order of live aquarium fish. They got delivered to the Lincolnton post office after 6:00 pm. A post lady brought them in her personal car obviously after she had already left work for the day. Made a point to bring them inside my porch and let me know that she was here with them. I didn’t get a chance to thank her properly because the dog was barking and the baby was crying. But I am super appreciative of her dedication and care for my package. Thank you!

Always love the post office, everyone support your post office!! I get amazon is cool and ups and FedEx are handling parcels as well and they all have something to offer in the way of convenience, or usage rewards programs or easy to navigate user profile, easy apps, but the USPS is the nations tax funded, federally insured, accessible 24/7 in nearly every single county in the country, safe guarded postal service. A government company. Theyre government careers that are really rewarding and extremely well paying with impeccable retirement and benefit, and pension and health plans. And its not owned by Bezos so thats really good 😄😄

It’s great when I get my mail!! My mother sent something to my son for his birthday 2 weeks ago and I’ve still to get it!!! She sent something to my grandmother the same day in PA and it was delivered timely!!! This is for everyone in my household.. we have to wait forever ; that if we ever get them! One card I didn’t get til a month or two later- not exaggerating! It’s just ridiculous.

Every day for the past week I’ve been tracking a package that has been sitting in this post office ... chilling... neglecting to make its way onto a truck to head my way in Matthews NC. Liiike, are people on strike here? Why are they not putting my package on a truck? I’m about to drive an hour out of my way and dig for it myself. Lord.

Very rude customer service. I would rather pay for FedEx then return here for a third time, at least I’m treated like a human at the local FedEx.

People are always polite and friendly, and apologetic if there is a wait. Ive never waited longer than 10 minutes and that was very unusual, but it was lunch time. Ive never had a package lost from this office and they even tried to help me with an error from Sunset rd, Charlotte - which I shall never use again.

A couple of days ago I ordered a printer online yesterday a got a text about the package fail to delivered, today same thing happened, I got confused because since this is an office we have been here yesterday and today, I called the local USPS office to ask why this was happening and I talked to Larry, I explain the situation, and he said dont worry I will fix this for you, 30 minutes later here he was Larry bringing the package on his own car. I did not expect that. Thank you, Larry.

Absolutely fascinating that I must ship mail to a different address because this office refuses to deliver to one of my relatives. Issue started over an incident that they created. As a government employee, I’m always embarrassed when a group doesn’t take their job seriously and blatantly abuses power. This is a hard time to be in the business of delivery, so the timing isn’t ideal for this post, but I’m forced to involve more people (potentially creating additional vulnerabilities) because of petty individuals who don’t see what they do as a service based industry. I’m not there, so I can’t say start from scratch. I’m hoping there are a few decent employees in this office.

This Post Office has lost my packages three times now claiming that they have been delivered and even showing online that they were Delivered to Front Porch. I have come to the Post Office twice before with this issue and they simply shrug their shoulders and say they cant find them and cant do anything about it. Since the packages are not insured from the senders, they wont file a claim for refund/reimbursement and Im the one that is left with no item and out the money spent for them. Whoever delivers to my address is totally incompetent and makes no effort to verify the address the package is intended for. There needs to be a major restaffing of this Post Office and the deliverers.

I don’t know why we even leave reviews. Nothing gets done about complaints. Nothing gets changed. As my husband has said, they simply din’t care. Twice I had chocolates delivered to the house and twice they were put in the mailbox when it specifically says on the box not to put it in the mailbox. I called and complained and was basically blown off and was even told that the mail carriers don’t have time to read everything on the outside of the package. I told her that it was their job to read what is on the outside of the packages in order to ensure a proper delivery. She then told me that in this heat the chocolate would have melted no matter where they were left. That is not true. It would have been fine on the porch in the shade. It was packaged in an insulated box with an ice pack. Even the ice pack was completely melted. Had it been handled properly, the chocolate would not have melted. She doesn’t seem to understand that when you leave a package in a closed mailbox it gets ten times hotter than on an open shaded porch. I then pointed out that it said perishable on the box. Her response was perishable items can still be put in a mailbox and my response to her was, “not when it is written clearly on the box not to put it in the mailbox.” Needless to say, I am beyond frustrated. This is government bureaucracy at its finest. I feel like we are held hostage to a system that works against us and not for us. The post office should be shut down. I hope Amazon quits using them. I only shop Amazon Prime. It will be great to see Amazon have a successful delivery service of their own. Maybe that will make the postal service employees realize that if you don’t treat customers right, you lose those customers and eventually go out of business! Perhaps I should file a complaint with Amazon. If they get enough complaints about the delivery service, maybe they will quit using the postal service. I wonder if that will be enough to alert the postal service that there n Ed’s to be a change.

Post Master said get a bigger box, its a rental smh and requested for packages to be put on side porch

I consistently get the wrong mail in my mail box and my neighbors end up bringing me my mail. Its not like it is too hard to see my address or theirs since its posted three different places. Lost mail is a real problem and the Postmaster General does nothing to address this. It is time to replace them with someone competent. It all starts with the top!

I deal with these wonderful people 6 days a week. They have always been pleasant, helpful and fast. I have seen them deal with some down right rude, ugly, demanding people yelling at them for things out of their control and yet they continue to be professional and courteous. Dont know how you put up with some of these people but keep up the great work. Alternative for the folks that are so unhappy with the post office...use Fed Ex or UPS, pay twice as much and see if you get any better service!Signed...The Cowboy

Worst service EVER!!!!! They refuse to deliver packages because the mail lady can see my dogs in the back yard. They cant come in the front yard and are NOT aggressive. I guess she is afraid of the cat? My daughters b-day presents didnt get dropped off until Christmas from a family member, her b-day is in August. This has been going on for year. I have to call to have the post master deliver packages every time I order something. Also, get the neighbors mail / magazines constantly sending things back that are not ours. I have called and filed complaints and nothing is getting done.

We do a lot of shipping for work and I have never had a single problem with the Lincolnton Post Office. The staff have always been polite and extremely helpful in suggesting the best way to ship certain items.

This is the worst Post Office. They consistently deliver my mail and other peoples mail to the wrong address. This has been going on for 9 years. I have complained numerous times and nothing changes. I take pictures now of all the other peoples mail that is delivered to me so I can prove it to the Postmaster General. Update:6/12/2019 This still continues to be a problem. Today an Amazon package was delivered down the street at one of my neighbors. Thankfully, he was an honest person. It is just ridiculous that my neighbors and I have to deliver mail for the Postal Service. They are getting paid and need to do their job correctly!

Tonya is awesome, she cares and will find the answers. I had a package delivered to the wrong address and she told me the truth. The people who received it were honest enough to send it back and she made sure it was delivered to me asap.

A package was guaranteed for yesterday and it came today. I looked up tracking info and it said it was delivered yesterday and handed directly to me. That is a flat out lie. I found it in the mailbox today. Meanwhile, packages that were guaranteed for today and needed for tonight did not arrive. I am really peaved especially since I have no recourse and nobody to call to get this remedied. The Lincolnton post office is the worst I have ever dealt with.

They Lost my passport and birth certificate

It hasnt rained all day. The driver didnt deliver my package, even though I was standing on my porch as he was leaving. He left a note that said undeliverable for RAIN. It hasnt rained and he saw me. Unacceptable!After I called and complained, the driver was sent back. He sat outside and blew his horn until I came out. This is not how you make up for your mistake.

House is down a dirt road so when I get packages that cant be crammed into the mailbox it means the packages arent delivered at all.I contacted Amazon recently about a missing package and Amazon forced them to deliver it. So what did the mail lady do? She drove down our road, HORN BLARING the whole way, parked on our grass, and then came to the door to yell at US for making her do her job.No joke, she didnt understand the difference between delivering a package and just putting a missed delivery slip in the mailbox and forcing us to drive to the post office to pick it up. To her they were both deliveries.Yeah, this is why the post offices are closing.

Poor Amazon, having to refund my money for packages the post office delivers to the wrong address. The package scanners should have GPS capabilities to prove what address packages get delivered to.

This office has a LOT of issues. Lost mail is common, employee attitudes are in the toilet and good luck getting anything forwarded correctly. Needs a complete overhaul.

This place is a JOKE. The lady at the front desk literally just started laughing at me because my package was stolen. Yeah, so freaking funny. Also they REFUSE to deliver my mail and packages, instead they leave me slips to pick my things up from the office. I hate this post office!

They constantly giving you run arounds, the phone number wont even work. They tell you to call and the number wont even go through. I always have trouble on online orders. Its just not right when its your money you paid out online!

I called the lincolnton post office at 540 pm today to ask about my package that said out for dilivery my mail had been delivered already i gave them a tracking number he said he would call me back when he figured it out i waited 2 hours and decided to call back and check no answer with 5 calls .it said out for dilivery starting at 9am and this is a small yet expensive package 500$ that is crappy customer service and im very irritated

Theyve refused to deliver packages down my concrete driveway. Cant get an answer why they refuse to deliver them even though the postmaster has agreed to review it.

This is the absolute worst place I’ve ever seen for getting mail in the right box! My mail constantly gets put in the wrong box and it’s a disaster!! I only gave one star because I couldn’t give it zero and leave a comment!

I have been waiting on my drivers license for a month the dmv says it was delivered to the post office but I have yet to recieve it. I called to ask about it and was put on hold for over an hour. This is unacceptable!!!

I had been waiting on a package and the mail lady pulls into my driveway and it was raining so i hurried up to open the door for her but instead she drives off WITH my package! ive tried calling but the phone is off the hook. Worst service ever the driver is a woman with brown hair in a Ford maroon truck.

They screwed up my mail so many times I cant keep up.we keep getting people mail that no longer live here for the past 2 years.they have attitude some of them and some are nice.the place is hard to get into,hard to open doors,steps a mile up and it really is time to build a new one and get things together,or Im going to start using another delivery service,or just have everything emailed to me or both.

I have sent money two times to my children and they get the card but no money and I do not get gifts that are sent to me like cards to movies or gas cards from my kids.. the mailman steals my stuff... I am sick of it... I am putting my foot down...

5:01 pm i arrived at the door Cecilia was locking the door as walked up she talked to me thru the glass and said it was too late she then opened the door to let 1 of 2 people still in line out and told me i could not ship my package today come back tomorrow...this is why the USPS is starving guess what ups is open until 6:30 i will not do business there anymore unless absolutely necessary!

This is the worst post office ever, Mail never comes till almost 5pm, some days not at all!!!
