I have been assigned Metro Tv and Appliance to do my warranty repair work by Whirlpool. I was a assigned a Date and Time for the service Technician to look at and repair my Machine. I was called by Metro TV within A hour after Job assignment and was told that is not how it works. They basically asked what the machine did and then told me that they would order parts and after that schedule a time, without even looking at machine. I wish I could Houdini the repair and magically know what is wrong without even looking at it. I would make a lot of money. After getting off the phone with secretary, I received a text. This is what it said.We have received your photo and will order your parts. Please do not wait home for us - we will call you with a rescheduled date as soon as the parts are in.I called the next day to check on the lead time on parts and I was told “ I don’t know, Maybe 2 to 3 weeks”. I asked what if the parts that were ordered doesn’t fix the problem because I one came out and physically diagnosed the issue. I was told “ I guess we will have to order the correct parts then.I have a 7 month old machine that is under a year warranty and i am assigned a repair company that treats the consumer like that is unacceptable. I can’t imagine what they do to they’re good customers.I will update review of the outcome.
The ice maker was constantly freezing up, and stopped producing ice cubes. The technician thawed the ice making area, sealed the area causing warmer air to enter, melt and refreeze the ice making system. He replaced all parts involved in making and delivering ice cubes from the Samsung repair kit. He was fantastic in providing this repair service, and was done under warranty.

They have been rude to me over the phone trying to get my tv they repaired back from them. they only come to Omaha onc a week and give only a day notice to bring it back to me. Asking to speak to a manager gets rude responses and asking for the persons name i was talking to got a hang up. Do not recomend this micky mouse company repiairing anything.They have had my tv 3 weeks now and will not deliver it back to me for another week.They estimated repair time of two weeks when they picked it up.very unprofessional!you think you provide good customer service? you do not know how to treat customers correctly. I will raise hell with Assurant and NFM. get my tv back to me in good condition I will not quit bugging you til I do.
I took my car stereo to fix with them because the signal was cut off every 2 seconds and they totally ruined it, now I cant hear anything when I turn it on, and I have more problems, they told me they had to send it to NY because they couldnt fix it here after 2 days, and also they said the cost would be very high (it is better to buy a new stereo) they stole my money that I gave as a deposit at the beginning to start the work and they dont help me with anything. It seems that their business is to make money with peoples deposits (Be careful not to use their services) and then they excuse themselves saying that they cannot fix the problem and they dont return the deposit, I paid to have my stereo totally destroyed. Terrible terrible service.

Our trim piece on the stove shouldve been an easy repair. Started warranty claim March 1st. Called April 9th. Metro told me parts hadnt come in yet. Metro employee today was rambling on about people in factories wanting to sit on their butts and collect unemployment. Metro told me today our claim was rejected and to call Menards warranty for a refund or replacement. Metro employee wouldnt answer several times when I asked how long have you know this. I called Menards warrranty and they said Metro said repair was completed. Nobody ever came to fix the trim piece on our stove. Very unprofessional and rude employees.

My service was outstanding. My technician showed me what the problem was with my dishwasher rollers and how the solution would help the situation long term. He also was very kind and looked at a leak under my sink that happened hours before he got there. He was very knowledgeable and fast as well. I would highly recommend to anyone needing appliance repair.
Professional, brought all new parts, 2nd time for this issue. Home Depots service did not fix first time, then when finally got electric service on wall for refrigerator, Sorry Not Under Warranty!!Then found out very few will service Samsung! I bought all NEW Samsung for quality in past appliances. Samsung extended warranty for this issue and got it properly fixed. Highly recommend!!! Will call for all appliances in future!! Thanks guys!

I have never had a worse service experience! I have been waiting for a service department/technician to return my call for a month. I get a different answer every time I call but no actual work is being done at all. Initially, technician came out to ads was the problem and was nice and polite but after that first visit all communication ceased. When I do get through to someone all I get is “we are very busy right now and will call you when the parts and a technician is available”
Ive used them 3 times now to service my range. Its been a good experience each time.
The light needed to be replaced in the refrigerator freezer and the repairman knew exactly what to do in a timely matter. Highly recommend this company!
Tom was very professional and was courteous when calling to verify he was in his way. When he showed up, his professionalism continued and he explained what he would be doing and what caused the initial issue. His knowledge of the problem and his quick turn around time in resolving the issue was excellent.

The technician Gary through my extended warranty replaced the dinged up refrigerator door. One of the shelves in the freezer, and the technician checked the water dispensor and the compressor fan. They did a good job and addressed all of our concerns. Thank you Gary.
Metro TV went above and beyond. Corine was so helpful in a situation that she and Metro TV would not have had to do for me. I was having issues with a product ordered from Home Depot and whirlpool. Corine spent much time Working with warranty department. Then their service man stopped by because he had some time here in Nebraska city and got my washer working. I cannot recommend them enough
Metro Appliance was the authorized technician for my extended warranty service on my dryer. They were excellent to work with. They kept in communication about parts and service and were quick to schedule a follow-up appointment to fix the dryer. From the time I started the warranty request to the time dryer was back up and running was about a week. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable and answered every question I had. I would definitely use them again for my appliance repair needs.

Gary came to fix our dryer and did a wonderful job! He called before he came over and arrived when he said he would. Gary was super friendly and thoroughly listened to what I said was wrong with the machines. He fixed them up perfect and gave valuable information about the units. I appreciate his attitude and service and would recommend Gary to anyone.
TL;DR: they took my money, didnt do anything, and are unresponsive. Ask for someone else if your warranty company assigns your repair to this place.I submitted a request through my home warranty company to have my oven repaired. These guys called me very briefly to see what was wrong, OK that should have been included on the order from my home warranty, but whatever, said theyd have the schedule guy call me back to set an appointment. A day later, no call. I called them and got scheduled. They gave me a 12 to 5 appointment window and they werent here at 5. Called them and got a rude response that the tech will get to me when they can. Finally showed up at 5:30. Took a look at the oven & needed to order a part, should be here in 7 days. Said theyd put the request through to the warranty company and get it ordered paid my deductible for the repair and he left.Seven days later I call to see whats up and they say they havent heard from the warranty company & cant order the part until they do. I call the warranty company, who says Metro TV hasnt submitted a diagnosis of the problem, so they cant authorize the repair. Called Metro TV back and suddenly the person who answers the phone cant answer any of my questions about the status and sends me to another persons voicemail to leave a message. So at this point its almost two weeks later, I still have no oven, Im out $100, and nobody has made any attempt to help me.If you want apathetic & unresponsive these are your guys! Otherwise, call your home warranty company back and ask for someone else.

Check the element the racks check everything out to make sure that everything is in good condition and thought that it might be the cascade pods not dissolving completely and touching the drying Element

I had a microwave go out 2 years after purchase. They came out, took it, and fixed it and worked with GE to get the repairs paid for even though it was not under warranty. They were very professional and responsive. I would highly recommend this company!!!!

Person who answered the phone attempted to diagnose the problem with my washer over the phone. I already had an appointment set to have it fixed on Tuesday. She said it would take 5 to 7 days without even looking at the product. When I challenged and noted that it was poor judgement to diagnose over the phone. She cancelled the appointment that was set and now they are avoiding my calls. I will never purchase an appliance from Home Depot again. Business cannot be done with bad partners. Had they had better customer service, they probably could have sold me a temp washer until I got the other one fixed. It’s for a rental.

I will echo what Cris Sahner posted; we were scheduled to have our refrigerator serviced today, 09/17/2019 between 12p – 4p, took the afternoon off and thankful that my wife called in to verify the time they were coming out…….yup, not even on their schedule. Best they could do was try to troubleshoot on the phone and said the earliest they could come out was Monday, the 23rd. NOT ACCEPTABLE! Most definitely will get the word out….AVOID THIS COMPANY!

We have had to deal with them twice because of our warranty on our washer through home depot. I am not impressed. The first time they ordered a part with out coming to look at it then they didnt need that part. They cant get things done in a timely manner, it was almost three weeks before it was fixed last time. Now they cant even come look at it for a week. Then who knows how long it will take to actually get it fixed. I dont recommend them and wouldnt use them.

I see some negative reviews for this company. I have had great experience with them. They serviced two of my Appliances. My refrigerator and dishwasher. They asked me what was wrong with them, based on my description of the problem, they ordered the parts needed and got them fixed within 8 days. I would be recommending them to anyone I know. First appointment was 4/27/20. Then received a call on 4/30/20 that part will be ordered. They said it sound like belt was needed and it would take 5 to 7 working days to receive. Received a call 4/30/20 the technician would come to myHome 5/1/20. Tom called said he was on his way problem wasn’t a belt it was the motor and he replace it in about 15mins. I was so glad Tom had other parts with him.
I have always had great service with Metro TV. I always recommend them when I can and have nothing but good things to say about the service. I remember them fixing my TV for the first time. These two nice boys came to my house and picked up my TV for me. I dont believe they still work at Metro, but they were nice. Moving forward to current times.. I had an issue with my computer. I contacted the store and talked to a guy asking if they knew of any places that could repair my computer. The gentleman was nice and explained that they could fix my computer. I was very happy to hear that they would be able to do this so I took my computer to them and I had my computer repaired in a good amount of time.

When in the last few months. Our Frigidaire microwave went totally dead. I called Frigidaire and asked if they could fix it. They agreed to cover all cost. Frigidaire, stepped up and took care of us. Unlike the place we purchased, they ran like away. So Frigidaire, called Metro TV/ Audio tech. I can say that every time I have talks to Metro from scheduler to the Manager. Not once have they ever been rude. Far from it. They are always polite to me and my wife. Answer all of our questions. Metro tech does excellent work, from top to bottom all of their employees are very professional. They completed our job from start to finish.George

I have a oven that is not heating and called Frigidaire to get someone to repair. It is out of warranty. They recommended Metro. I called Fri and was told by the lady that you only go to Fremont once a week on Wed and this Wed 20th was full and next appt would not be until the 27. I said at least it would be repaired in time for Thanksgiving cooking. She said no, that would only be to find out what part would be needed to fix it, then it would have to be ordered..maybe take another week. I understand you are in Lincoln, dont know why you would take on surrounding areas that you can only service once a week when people need their appliances fixed in a more timely manner. I called Frigidiare back and informed them of this and told them dont send anybody else there..they cant repair things fast enough. Fortunately I got someone else they recommended from Omaha coming Monday and will have my oven repaired before Thanksgiving.

I called to get an opinion on my broken TV problem. The person I talked to explained what he thought might be wrong with the TV. They said it would take up to a week to look at it and they would call with an estimate. I decided to bring the set to their shop. They called in less than a week with the estimate. I gave the go ahead for them to fix it. In a short amount of time they called to tell me it was fixed. They were very helpful, informative and friendly. And I was very pleased with everything they did.
This place has horrible service! I explained to Bill my sensor dry wasn’t drying my clothes. He indicated it was because the vent tubes were clogged with lint. I said I just had brand new tubes put in. Bill told me I had no idea what was wrong with my dryer just like the women he had before me. He started cleaning out the vents and taking the dryer apart. He shook the connecting piece on the floor and the lint fit in the palm of my hand. Then he told me the only way my clothes would dry is to vent into the laundry room. I told him we did that for 6 months as they remodeled my laundry room. He laughed at me said he was going to cut his loses and walked out. Didn’t hook my dryer back up and didn’t clean up the mess. I had someone else hook up my dryer and the light inside doesn’t work. When Bill took apart the dryer he screwed the wires up inside. My husband called Kelly the so said manager and they did not have a ticket on us and he tried saying they never came out. We gave him the number that called 30 minutes before he arrived and he admitted it was his guy. He told us he would talk with him and call us back. A week later we still have not heard from anyone!! Thank goodness for Andy’s appliance advice as we now have the sensor dryer options working more efficiently!
We would leave a 0 rating if we could. This is absolutely the worst repair company we have ever worked with. We are going on 20+ days without our washing machine, with our family of 7. They attempted to diagnosis the problem over the phone only to find out it was the wrong parts. That was after we waited over 4 1/2 hours for them to show up. Now we cant get any response as to when the parts will be here and when our washer will be fixed.When we called they said the parts were ordered, but that was a lie. We checked with the warranty company and they said no parts had been authorized os they couldnt have been ordered. Metro TV told us they couldnt overnight the parts and they cant track the shipping so they dont know when theyll be in.STAY AWAY! DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL!Just an update to this. Once Metro/TV read this post they refused to help us. My wife had Metro and the warranty company on the phone at the same time and the very rude lady from Metro hung up on them. We are very glad! Maybe well get a company that actually cares about its customers and wants to provide quality service.
I needed to find a very small screw but longer than what came with the Alpine CD changer to finish my project. I went to Audiotech based on a referral from Autosounds that they might be able to help. Once there I explained what I needed and they returned with 3 different length screws after going above and beyond. Thanks!
I called your store on Thurs 10/31 because my fridge stopped cooling and needed service. I was told the cost to come look at is was 80. I was ok with that and asked the lady I spoke with, Cristol when can someone come out. She told me the soonest she had was next Fri 11/8. I said that was to long to be without my fridge. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and was told no one was available and she was the only one who did the schedule anyway. So I called Andys and they came out the next day and my fridge was fixed. I certainly wont ever call your store again for any of my other appliances. Im sure you are a busy store but waiting a week to get a appliance fixed is not good.
By far the worst company I have dealt with. One star is being too generous but I can’t give zero. Made an appointment Wednesday to have someone here Friday between 8-12:00. Got close to 11 so I called to see if there was any idea when they would be there, only because I took the morning off of work and had a busy day to catch up from missing work. The secretary was very rude. Told us the exact opposite from what kitchenaid told us about parts and labor costs. Only for her to lie and say the appointment wasn’t made until Friday morning and there was no way they could have anyone there today. I hope this review helps someone else avoid the BS and lies this company will give you. Call a reputable company like Andy’s appliance repair. Terrible customer service.
My microwave needed servicing right before Christmas, and I was so afraid I wouldnt have it to make my holiday treats in time.. Bill made sure that it was checked quickly, fixed and brought back to me just in time! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone! Thank u again, Bill!
We needed to have our TV fixed, and didnt have time to drop it off, so we decided to pay extra to have Metro TV come out and pick it up from us. They drove ALL the way across town, looked at our TV, told us how to fix it (we feel dumb - it was super simple), and left.....without charging us anything. Thats going over and above. They took time with us over the phone when we called, took time to drive out to us, and then were kind enough to help when it was something that didnt require their expertise. Good people!

Our experience was way different than reviews others have written. Had problems with a Samsung refrigerator - the ice maker. Metro was fantastic. Metro had to order the parts and deal with warranty all of which was handled in timely manner. They arrived and fixed quickly, giving us a complete description of the problem and how they repaired it. We were very satisfied.

Metro TV repaired a Samsung dryer for us, under an extended service contract. They arrived on time, the technician was courteous and professional, and they completed the repair very quickly. The repair was done a couple of weeks ago, and the dryer has been working fine ever since.
They provide extended warranty services for Nebraska Furniture Mart. We had an issue with a warrantied appliance and called the hotline. They setup an appointment after determining over the phone what they though the required part would be. 2 weeks later they came out and found it wasnt the part they thought it was and need to set up another appointment requiring more wasted time. What kind of company does diagnostics over then phone? Freaking retards!
If you buy a service contract from the Mart and these schedule a repair with these guys, run..Expect a call back saying that the scheduler does not know our service schedule and this company will have to change the appointment. When i get a warranty and need service work i would expect the people contracting out to these facilities would have access to there schedules but from seeing another post about this company and there scheduling issues it doesnt leave much to question.

Please read the other reviews on this company and never do business with them. We put in a warranty claim on a Samsung dryer purchased from Nebraska Furniture Mart because the heating unit went out. We put in our claim on Sunday and we were told that they would be out on Tuesday to repair. Monday we were left a voicemail because they were missing our serial number. By the time we listened to the voicemail they had closed. We called Tuesday morning and provided the serial number and we were told that they would order the part and it would take 3-5 days and that no visit was necessary. After not hearing anything for 7 days (5 business days) we called to see the status. We were told it was on the truck but not delivered yet. After another 6 days of not hearing anything, we called again. This time we were told it was being delivered the next day (10 business days after the original call) and scheduling would call us. Two days later, again no call. At this point, I was fed up with waiting for my dryer to be fixed. I call to make a point of this. I am told that the part is in and transferred to scheduling. Scheduling tells me that it is going to be another 6 days before someone can come out to install this part. I have already waited over 2 weeks for my dryer to be fixed and waited way longer than I should have for the part to come in, and then they couldnt even keep anything available to come and fix it earlier than within 6 days!? I ask to speak to a manager and get transferred to his voicemail. I call again and let them know of this, and they say that they will track him down. They find him and transfer me again... and again I get voicemail. I call AGAIN, and the manager answers. I explain my situation and his response? Sorry, you can call another service provider but it will be a week before we can get out there. Fine - I will find another provider, Id be happy to. Well, my warranty company tells me that because the part was ordered and delivered that I cannot change the service provider any longer. I call back to suck it up and schedule, and I am now told that it will be 5 days before someone can come out. Just 10 minutes before that it was 6 days. And here we are, 6 days before my install and I have already had this bad of an experience.This is by and far one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company. I am not the type of person to leave bad comments on a company - I get it, stuff happens. There is no excuse for this.As for the owner, I can see you responding to all of these other comments saying you take no fault. Please find a way to squeeze out of this one. I dare you. Want to make up for your bad experience? Get someone out in the next couple days.
Whirlpool scheduled us with them to do warranty work on our refrigerator. When they called me to verify the information, they said it would be cash when they arrived. I told them that the parts I needed were under warranty (my problem was diagnosed by someone that did not do warranty work for Whirlpool, whole other bad experience). I was told I had to call Whirlpool back and get them to amend the work order. So, I spent another 20 minutes calling Whirlpool back a second time. I called the morning of my appointment and they said they werent coming out, none of my information had been verified and they never received an amended work order. If someone comes out, diagnosis a problem and orders parts, they would see they were under warranty and then charge you for the labor. It seemed very cut and dry and thats what the other company I went with ended up doing. The lady I talked to on the phone was just mean and rude at Metro TV Appliance Service. I would pay the $700 in parts rather than to deal with them!!!
I recently used Metro to repair my washer. After explaining their process to me, I understood that they were trying to be as efficient as possible while they are dealing with proceedures that the warranty company has them follow. I tired to give my model and serial #s to the warranty but they said they were not needed, but Metro did need them to obtain the correct parts for repairing my washer. They said they needed to order the parts through the warranty. I called warranty and they said that this is the proceedure to obtain parts. The whole process took about 6 working days. Just to compare other appliance repair companies I called one and they didnteven have a available date for 10-14 days. So after reading some of the other reviews here, I see Metro are indeed following warranty rules and doing the best they can do complete our repair. The tech was efficient and polite, the office staff was polite and understanding. So people, before you condemn a business for following warranty rules that they work for, call you warranty company and find out what they have to go through and really are doing the best they can. Thanks Metro for being honest and doing my repair.

Metro to save the day!!! I can only attempt to try and explain how happy I was with the service from Metro. They came in and saved the day from horrible experience with another service provider assigned to me from NFM warranty. They were able to actually listen to me, diagnose the issue and order parts to fix all over the phone without having to come out and have me take a day off of work. After that it was about 3 days to get parts in and they were able to get me scheduled within 7 days from the time I called to come out fix my dishwasher and move on with life. The tech that came was quick, smart, clean, and overly cautious (IE taking great care of the appliance and my house, floor counters etc.). The dishwasher had been broken for nearly two months while I messed around with the first company. I wish I would have known these guys were an option from the get go and I will always be requesting them in the future!!

Too bad you cant leave zero stars. I have a Samsung washer and during a recall it was discovered that the entire interior of the machine was severely rusted out and inoperable. I contacted the Home Depot Extended Warranty company and they set me up with Metro TV. My appointment was scheduled for Friday. On Thursday, the Home Depot Warranty company called me on Thursday, told me Metro TV was on site and determined my rust was cosmetic, and not affecting the operation of the unit and they would not be repairing at this time. METRO TV NEVER STEPPED FOOT IN MY HOME AS MY APPOINTMENT WAS SET FOR THE FOLLOWING DAY! Look at the photo does this look cosmetic to you? Our clothes come out stained orange from the rust. This company is dishonest and has been reported to the Better Business Bureau as they never stepped foot in my house yet reported to the Home Depot Extended Warranty company that they had. I have the email and voice mail to prove it!!!!!

Ive honestly never dealt with a worse company/service than these guys. Wasted a lot of time trying to find out information about my repair for the 4 months they had my product, which never ended up getting repaired by metro. I was told different stories by multiple employees there everytime I called. Three different times I had had to change my plans because they said they were going to pick up my product on a certain day and never came; they said they had it fixed and would drop it off and when I called because no one ever came, they said it wasnt even fixed...they had no idea someone told me it was fixed and that they scheduled a time for someone to come by with my item. No one made an effort to speed up the timeline, if anything, they slowed it down. People, look at the other reviews too and STAY AWAY from this place.

We had metro do warranty work on our samsung dishwasher through Nebraska furniture mart. From the time we requested the repair until it was completed was over three weeks time. They called and requested the serial number so they could order parts. They did this and showed up about a week later with the wrong part. They ordered the correct part and about a week and 1/2 later they showed up and made the repair. After the tech left we noticed they had chipped part of the cabinet next to the diswasher. We touched that up with some stain. We ran the dishwasher for a few days and noticed the drain hose was not tight it was leaking underneath the kitchen sink. We tightened the hose clamp and ran the dishwasher for a cycle to test for leaks. There were none. We thought the tech should have done this after he made the repairs? We are not satisfied with there service. Would advise to use another company.
Warranty called them to repair my washer, called for the serial number (I am at work and don’t have the ability to look at my machine). I called back with the information from my warranty, she returned my call and mentioned it wasn’t a full number. NOT ONCE did they mention they weren’t coming out to my scheduled appt Tuesday between 8-12. My husband called because he had been waiting all morning for them for her to tell him they weren’t coming because they didn’t have a serial number.
Great friendly help over the phone. Tested components to determine bad capacitor, which they happened to have and sold me. I was able to fix our 8 yr old ‘fancy’ microwave myself, their assistant was

Was looking for a reputable appliance service company to fix my washer, Google came up with a few suggestions. This company was one of them. Reading through the reviews, I will stay away. The responses given to the unsatisfied customers is extremely malicious. Instead of extending hostility, they should focus on how to fix the problem. I give 1 star just based on the companys negations.

I had an ipad with a broken screen. It was fixed in a timely manner with friendly service. Reasonable cost. Highly recommended.
If I could give no stars I would. I have a 15 month old refrigerator that does not make ice. I have extended warranty through Assurant that was purchased through Nebraska Furniture Mart. I filed a claim on April 18, 2018 and still have not had my repair. I have gotten the run around from Assurant as well as Metro TV. They either do not return my call or if I am lucky enough to get them on the phone they just keep giving me different dates that the part will be available. It has been nearly 2 months and I still have no ices. Assurant and Metro TV both keep giving me the run around. Horrible customer service!
