Leon is hands down the best in the car business. I use him for all my cars. And got me in for 28in wheel balance/align on Friday at 3:30 so I can pick my son up out of town in the morn. BTW thank you Chris it worked. Highly recommend. And Lambs is one of few shops with ability to mount balance align wheels 28in and bigger. Fair on price. Thank you so much.

It pains me to write this review because I have used this shop for years, but the last two times I have had my car there it has taken them an unusually long time to fix them and then they were not fixed properly. Do not take you vehicles here.

He was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The cost was more then reasonable especially since service went well beyond their normal hours. I will be back. I am also going to refer my peers. Had my car towed here Saturday after a chance encounter with Leon, the owner. By 9am Monday Dean had called me with a very reasonable quote, and a very pleasant demeanor, and by 2pm they had finished the job! Car is working great now. Found my new mechanic in Lincoln. Thanks everyone

We are on a road trip across the country and our check engine light came on accompanied with some funny engine sounds as we started our suburban this morning. We were very nervous as we realized that it was a holiday! A Google search provided me a list of repair shops in Lincoln and I started at the top looking for any place that was open. It wasnt until I got to Lambs that the phone was answered. It turned out that they were closed, but Leon was willing to take a look at our Suburban anyway! It turned out to be a simple fix of something that wouldnt have prevented us from reaching our destination, but we sure appreciate the fact that we can now travel with peace of mind. The price was extremely reasonable. We would have been happy to pay more, especially considering the shop was closed! Thanks Leon, for answering your phone and being so kind. You were an answer to our prayers!

Owner is the absolute best. He drove us back to our apartment then picked us up in his own car mind you so we could get our car fixed. They know what they are doing and treat you like family.

Leon and his crew are top notch. This is the guy you want working on your car/truck/etc, hands down. Similar to the previous poster, I was a traveler passing though when my car had some serious troubles. I figured I would be stuck in town for several days and also have to pay an arm and a leg to get back on the road. I called Leon and he had me come right in. He and his crew were quick to diagnose and fix the problem my car was having and I was back on the road. He even reached out to me a few days later to make sure we made it to our destination. He charged us a very fair price for the work we needed.Hes honest.Hes fair.Hes a good guy.The only down side is that he doesnt run a shop in my home town, otherwise hed have a customer for life.Thanks Leon!

Lambs Automotive has always been very forthright and explains things very clearly in a way I can understand. He is also very ethical. As a woman, it would be easy for a mechanic to oversell me. But he has always given me a very good deal on my services and has never done more than needed to be done. Furthermore, all of the repairs he has ever done have lasted. He is very good at what he does. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Terrible customer service. Made an appointment to have almost 1,000$ worth of work on my car 4 days in advance and told them I would leave it for 3 business days but I needed it back by the fourth day and they said that would be ample time. Called on the evening of the third day to get an update and they didnt have any clue what I was talking about. They then told me that they couldnt even find my key for it.... I understand that mistakes happen but when I called or even to pick up the car nothing was done to rectify the situation or even ask or assist with me on re schedualing... I am extremely dissatisfied

I am always pleasantly surprised with the service and fair pricing at Lambs Automotive Repair. Leon and the rest of the guys are very honest and helpful. Leon explains what is wrong and what it will take to fix it. I never feel like I am being taken advantage of. On multiple occassions, he has fixed my car quickly with little notice. I recently had my car repaired, and after leaving, my check engine light came on. I called Leon immediately and he told me, Dont worry about it, we will take care of you. As promised, it was something very minor and he took care of the problem right away! I highly recommend Lambs Automotive, if you are looking for an honest place to take your vehicles.

Lambs Automotive is AWESOME ! They usually get me in the same day if its possible. All of the guys there are excellent and explain what needs to be done and they dont sell you work that you dont need. I relocated to Lincoln in October and I needed some work done and was referred to Lambs from a friend. Its nice to have a mechanic you can trust especially being new to the area. Leon and the rest of the guys there will take great care of your needs.

I will highly recommend Lambs in the furture. I called at 10:45pm (the previous night and got a hold of someone!) because my car was not starting. I explained my situation and they were able to get it fixed the very next day in a timely manner. They explained what they did and showed me what they replaced (they were very honest and upfront). I also asked them to check other problems (that wasnt what I originally asked for them to look at) and they did with no problem! Not to mention I got a student discount. I will recommend this repair shop, not because of the discount, but because they treated me with such courtesy. They promised to take care of my car and they did. I brought my car in, because the check engine light had come on. Even though I was late, they still performed the job! The man helping me didnt just check it and send me on my way. He took the time to explain what was going on with my car and asked me questions to get to the bottom of the issue. (It turns out there wasnt really anything wrong; just a glitch.) Great service and very knowledgeable employees. I will definitely use Lambs for all of my future automotive maintenance and repairs.

I am relatively new to the Lincoln area and I was really hesitant on choosing an auto mechanic to work on my cars. I have since been to Lambs automotive twice now: once for an alternator and once for a coolant leak issue. Both times, I have been pleasantly surprised with the quality and speed of service. I drive older cars, and the guys at Lambs Auto were very quick to tell me what NEEDED to be done instead of trying to sell me on what COULD be done. High integrity. I trust their opinions and diagnostics and would highly recommend them to anyone in the Lincoln area.

The review was originally 2 stars, and this is the original review: The service was good but the price was way too HIGH!My car wouldnt start. They checked and decided I needed a new battery. So I got a new battery from them and that solved the problem.But, they charged $49.5 for the labor of check, and then $41.25 for the labor of remove & replace of the battery (for a Toyota Corolla), on top of $114.95 for the battery itself. And of course they gave me 10% discount in the end for being a student.. Then, the next morning after I posted my original review, the owner called me back and offered to resolve the problem. I appreciated this. But, there are a few things that I really dont like:1. He offered refunding me $40 if I take down my review.2. The way he was talking made me feel very pushing.3. He was saying that he is doing this only because Im a girl.4. In the end, he was saying that the phone calls are recorded and this going-to-court sort of thing...Anyway, the service in the shop was done over half a year ago. I recently realized the price was too high and put a bad review there and got this kind of response. Maybe things would be different if I had complained right away back then.So, now I change my review from 2 stars to 1 star.

Everyone at Lambs was incredibly nice and accommodating. In spite of being really busy, they still took the time to help me and get my car fixed. They were very knowledgeable, informative, and reasonably priced. I couldnt be happier with everything and would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I do not know how to accurately express the kindness Leon showed myself and my family. Late in the afternoon on a cold rainy day, the alternator in my GMC Terrain went out. Leon came to where we were, jumped the car, led us to his shop and offered us an amazing deal to get the car fixed so we could be on our way.It did not end there. We had 2 small children with us and Leon went ABOVE and beyond, he loaned us his personal vehicle, helped us move our stuff over and get going to the place we were going to stay for the night.I do not know anyone who does this anymore. We were so overwhelmed and thankful for his kindness.The car was fixed in the morning and we were on our way. If I ever need service again in Lincoln NE I will go directly to Lambs Automotive.

These fellas are hands down some of the best mechanics Ive encountered. I was traveling from Seattle to Montreal in my imported nissan van. Its from Japan and you drive from the passenger side. Not many places are keen to work on this rare bird, but lambs did! They diagnosed my faulty alternator and took it to a local guy to get it rebuilt. There were unforeseen problems with the alternator and it was unable to be rebuilt. They sourced me a replacement alternator which is no simple feat as my alternator needed a vacuum pump attached to the backside... Now my vehicle holds a charge, has new belts, and can get me back on the road.If I ever find myself in Lincoln needing a mechanic again, I know exactly where Ill be going.

When you move somewhere you dont really know people, and I have a car on with some mileage on it. It took a couple visits to get the backing up lights fixed, (bulbs, wiring, etc) but Lambs got us in immediately each time. Just look at these guys parking lot compared to their neighbors, that alone is proof that this is THE PLACE to get your car taken care of. Thanks guys.

Im new to Lincoln and needed work done on my car. They changed my oil and fixed a piece that was loose while only charging for the oil change. They even ordered a filter and had it delivered even though it meant staying late. They were good people and I will defiantly be going back next time my car needs work.

Great customer service. I had a problem with my ac not working and within 15 minutes of pulling up he had the problem figured out and told me the cost of the part and labor to fix it. I will definitely be returning here again if I need any other work done on my car in the future.

I have taken my car to Lambs several times and never had a bad experience. They are always very nice and up front about any and all costs and they do their best to keep those costs low. They are even willing to stay late to get work done and take time to look at your vehicle almost any time of the day if you are having problems.I can always trust them to do their best to solve whatever is wrong with my car and to explain clearly what the issue is. These guys are legitimate I took my car in today because there was a busted rattling noise in the back of my car that ever time I hit anything but smooth payment my car would have audible rattles and clacking in the back of the car. I was sure my suspension was shot I took it in to Lambs, those guys knew that I know nothing about cars they could have charged me a thousand dollars and told me they had to replace the whole rear suspension and I would of believed them because I am a car moron. Instead they called me and told me it was a 30 dollar repair. These guys are trustworthy, honest and actually care about their clientele. I would recommend these guys to anyone, there is a reason I come back over and over again.

He replaced the diff within hours and charged half of what the dealer wanted to charge.Great guy very quick and friendly. We cannot express our gratitude enough for what Lambs Automotive did for us. We were traveling through to Wisconsin, ran into mechanical problems and the vehicle completely shut down as we coasted in to a Motel 6.Late evening, stranded, towing a jeep and searched for a local repair shop. Called two places and left messages at approximately 9:00 p.m. By 9:30 that evening Lambs Auto responded to our call. Got our vehicle to his shop that evening, fixed it and we were on the road by 8:00 a.m. He had no incentive to go above and beyond for service because we were only going through and not regular customers. We cannot thank him enough for being such an honest hard working man and treating us with such service. The charges were more than reasonable and we will always remember our experience in Lincoln NE as good because of him. Thank you

I dropped my car there on a monday afternoon, i told them what needs fixing and they assured theyll finish it by tuesday at noon. I called at eleven and they havent even started on my car and said they wouldnt even finish it by that day. Worker there was very rude kept interrupting me and telling me about how hard his job was and how he only had a few days for a large number.I had higher hopes for this place since it had such high reviews. I do not recommend it at all! big disappointment!

I brought my car in to get it fixed mever drove it i paid over $3000 to fix air conditioner cluch ect . i have more problems with it now hasnt been a month ac still dont work and now the check ingine light is on. They want to charge me 500 more to fix mistakes i already paid to have fixed i cant even sell my car for what its worth these guys will milk you over charge you and refuse to fix problems you alreadypaid to fix. I dont even have plates on my car i havent driven it at all since they suposedly fixed it when i brought it in they said they would fix there mistakes since i already paid for it. Not true ive never felt so taken advantage of

They were really helpful and took time to explain what they were doing to my car. I called on a Saturday when I was in a bind, and even though they were busy they took time to help me out.

I had some air conditioning issues two weeks ago which could not be fixed with a recharge and called Dean for some help to diagnose the actual issue. The store was closed but he answered and told me to head over. It was clear he was on the way out to the lake with the family but he was still willing to take a half hour to help me figure out that the clutch in the compressor was bad, find people in town who carried the parts i needed, gave me advice on what to offer to pay for the parts if i bought them and even priced out what the labor would run if he did the install. Dean didnt charge me a thing for all this effort which was really cool of him. He was genuine and very helpful. I decided it was time to just upgrade the car instead of make this and other needed repairs, but i totally recommend lambs automotive if you need service on your car. They went out of their way to help me on a day they were closed and theyll work hard to help you too.

My car has noise @15-20mph, or above 65mph. Jason tire shop recommanded to replace all struts, brake pads and rotors. I replaced fron struts, noise still exists. Then I had my car checked at Lambs Auto Repair this past Monday, they showed me the rear tire has problem and caused the noise. Then I replaced rear tires and the problem resolved.This shop is trust worthy, the technicians are knowledgable. Thanks for your service. Will visit again.
