I literally love how old school and homey this gym feels! Jason and his wife are always awesome at helping out, giving advice and are just overall friendly and welcoming individuals.

This place is exceptional!I could never find another place that fits everyones needs in a family!I have a 2 yr old granddaughter and absolutely want her mother to bring her here for swimming lessons.Jason is the best!!!!!

Step back to a blast from the past and enjoy 40 year old amenities, equipment and carpet that will remind you of the its early days as the Southern Athletic Club of which I was a long time member. Also a distant memory is the friendly, attentive service from people who cared about your health and experience. Youll never have a problem locating the only working cardio machine because its never crowded.Your prompt departure from the facility is now greatly appreciated else management will disallow your membership thus purifying the environment for the proprietors to a preferred type of patron. So if you love a place with the narrowest range of availability at some of the least competitive prices in the market, there is no better place in the entire area. Its a delight to see the entire facility has been perfectly preserved right down to the sweat from the once vibrant racquet ball circuit.For those who still love the old game, the racquet ball courts that havent been turned into storage are waiting for you. I just love the vibe of the place. Management is so concerned not to upset to archeological significance of the facility that they are hard pressed to even change some of the light bulbs. A true monument to what a vibrant community workout center of the 80s was.

I work out at Rect ATL with Lina lean, I highly recommend her as a trainer. She is awesome! Always pushing me into giving it my best! I really enjoy my workouts with her! Check her out!

The owner Jason is always very courteous and polite. He is always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that all of the equipment is functioning properly and that members and guests are treated with the utmost respect.

The owner Jason is a friendly and helpful guy, he takes care of your need. The gym has a great martial art equipment which I like. I highly recommend going there.

Im a relatively new racquetball player. Id been playing with a racquet I bought from a used sports equipment store and thought it was time to upgrade. Not only did Jason help me choose a racquet by letting me demo several and asking me questions about my game, he gave me some pointers on how to improve my swing. This is a fantastic place with a passionate, helpful, friendly owner. So thrilled to find a place like this.

Awesome facility to play and watch Racquetball! We travel down here from the Carolinas for tournaments. Jason is an excellent host!

The only racquetball facility in Atlanta with enough courts to host events. Owner is a great guy but needs to invest in updating the building. It is very run-down. Womens locker room is dingy, showers are dark and scary, toilets are constantly clogged. Courts have been mostly fixed but paint flakes off the walls and doors dont close properly. The pool is large and nice with a good atmosphere. Be careful when leaving the parking lot--unless your vehicle is jacked up, your front end will scrape.

Mr. Jason and staff take care of my daughter in the summer camp last year, this is the 2nd year of her and she is loving in it a lot, is a good summer camp to learning swim.

It is a high intensity workout class that makes you feel incredible while you do it, and sore when it’s over.

I absolutely LOVE coming to Recreational Atlanta in Lilburn Ga. Jason is more like family then he is a friend. Whether im getting my Racquets restrung or buying new gear, its always a pleasure doing business with him and his facility. Rec is always clean and neat. The asian man at the front has the worse customer service I have ever seen in my life. Today my family had to go through his yelling. Apparently just for today the pool closed at 6 but my 16 year old brother was not aware of this and they made him pay the $8 10 minutes before closing. The person who rang him up was a little boy who looked younger than 10. When my brother went to ask why they had not told him they were closing early the asian man did not take responsibility and started yelling at him. There are better ways of handling the situation but yelling at my brother was certainly not the solution. I am not the first to have problems with this man so I hope he gets taken caren of.

The Owner was rude and uninformative, The facility is dirty and smells needs to be sanitized before you allow your children to roam freely. I would not recommend this facility

Good place to play soccer, swim, table tennis and lots more.

Racquetball courts and basketball courts. My family enjoyed themselves and its not expensive.

The owners are great and really care about improving the place all the time.

We went here to check out as a place for summer camp for our 9 year old not impressed enough to pull the trigger, this is dated location that could provide some use to specfic segment but not for everyone.
