Stay away from this plaza, especially the Kia dealership. I saw a listing on their website for a 2021 Kia Forte LXS for $16,500. I spoke with a lady over the phone to confirm that this is the fixed price, she confirmed that it was. The next day, I arrived at the dealership and got assisted by a bigger guy with glasses named Mike Conn. I showed him the exact car I wanted, with the stock/vin #, but he shrugged it to the side and instead tried selling me a different colored Kia Forte for $20,000. I confronted him about the change in price, just for him to tell me he wont sell me the car for what the website had it listed as. This is my experience and if I were you, I wouldnt trust the Kia dealership in Liberty Auto Plaza, especially not the bigger guy with glasses named Mike Conn.
My experience with used car dealers wasnt favorable. Sometime taking more than 4 hours to close the deal. Im not a big haggler. LAP offered price was reasonable and I really appreciate the fact that they didnt push to sell extended warranty. Price was fair, processing time was just over 2 hours, and car was good in condition. Matt was very friendly and his manager was also friendly.
So far so good! Went on a Saturday afternoon with an appointment. Took about 2 hours but i walked out with my first new car! Love my kia!! Salesman was great. Somehow he picked the car i wanted without me even knowing what I wanted! Communication back and forth before I got there was great. They got things started. Not sure if I overpaid, but Im pleased with what I got!

I would give this dealership 0 stars if it was possible. Probably the worst service I have ever had with any dealership. I made multiple trips out to the location within the span of a few weeks and was disappointed by their sales staff every time. Before each trip, I made sure to call the sales staff and clarify that the vehicle I wanted was on the lot and within time short time between the call and going to the location, somehow the car was not on the lot. Also, they will lie about/misconstrue deals and/or prices, even if you ask them to clarify what the website deals mean. I would understand if it was a one time mistake with a salesperson but I have experienced this time and time again with multiple different sales staff. They clearly have no idea what they are doing and are turning away paying customers with their customer service. I have never experienced this with any other place and I can guarantee I will not be returning here or recommending it to anyone— no matter how good the deals seem. It’s not worth your time or the hassle, take yourself somewhere else.
Really got jerked around by these people. Several employees did their best and you cant ask for more than that but ultimately, they didnt honor their word. Was told one thing by a GM, went back several times and then was told quite rudely Hes no longer here, he left this week so this is now the price we require. At the end of the day a terribly disappointing experience with these folks. Refused to play their game and walked out despite how badly I wanted a particular vehicle. Went to Flag Chevrolet where I was treated fairly.
Very unprofessional dealer. I called them to check if a car was available and the manager Matthew told me that they have the same model and year car available just different color and asked me when can I go to check it out. I immediately got in my car and I drove 30 miles to go check that car and when I got there they told me that they dont have the car anymore. I asked to speak with the person I spoke on the phone Matthew and he told me that they just sold that car. Impossible to sell a car for 35 minutes when you have paperwork to fill out, plus when I got there there was just one couple checking another car. So I ended up driving 60 miles for nothing. I will never ever buy a car from that dealer.

I was very skeptical when I learned that Liberty Auto Plaza may be able to assist me in my search for a used car. I have had some issues in the past, and I am currently in the process of rebuilding my credit.When I came into the dealership on Wednesday, I was immediately approached by William, who turned out to be one the sweetest people I have ever met. He held my hand through the entire process and answered any questions I had.And then there was Robert. The big dog. The man with the plan who made all my dreams come true! He worked a deal so sweet for me that I was blown away!I came in the dealership looking for something older that I could afford, and I left with a BRAND NEW 2020, with an amazing interest rate and monthly payments that I could afford. Even though this dealership is an hour away from my home, I will continue to give them my business because these guys are the truth!

Went there tonight 9-2-21 and had an appointment with rafeal . After a 45 minute drive we show up as for him went out side had 6 different sales people ask if I needed help told them I was waiting. After standing in the parking lot for 30 minutes of no show no help we left. I then received multiple phones calls asking where I was and was even asked if I left. I told the person on the phone what happened and I was very blunt with them . And will not recommend this dealership to any one and Im writing this review .ps dont go there

When I bought my Nissan Pathfinder(2018) I get an extra offer extended warranty and VIP service for extra paid 2-3k [everything covered for 5 years - warranty and maintenance]. The sales/finance team did great to sell it to me. Since then I have to deal with them what is included and etcetera till today 2,5 years later when their service MAN told me to find the sales person who sold it to me???!!!!! as he doesnt know what is covered and there isnt way to find it. Rude and unprofessional !! Stay away from this place $$ my total in the end is paid few thousand for the additional service actually for few oil changes and rotation, rude behavior and stress to my family and me!!!!! I hardly recommend people to pick another location with better service department as after the purchase this the team you will deal with!!!

Happy with my Chevy impala I purchased here but the financing department is awful. Gave me financing on a car for a 6% rate when most loans are in the mid 3%s. Credit score is very strong. Strongly recommend looking into what rate you will get with this company beforehand.

Worst dealership ever!!! Its been over a month a I still cannot get my plates from the state because they havent registered my car. My suv is bought and paid for along with the title and plate registration at the dealership yet the dealership has failed to honor their commit to send my plates. I now own a brand new suv that I cannot drive because my temporary plates are expired and the dealerships General Manager does not answer or return my calls. Worst customer service. Ricardo, Jared James, and Steve the GM of sales are horrible. Not recommended to anyone. I now have to sue the dealership to try to obtain my money or plates I paid for.
Recently I had bought a used Hummer that wasn’t bought from here I bought it was purchased from a private owner . The vehicle turned out to be a lemon. I had my truck towed here to libertyville service center an had them give me an estimate. Let’s just say they are on a higher end of the term pricey. But we’ll worth they are very upfront an no bs when it comes to what’s going on with your vehicle. They take time to show you first hand if you prefer an then they walk you through what needs to be done immediately done an non immediate leaving you in control of what you get done. Works well done and well priced for. You get what you pay for as the saying goes but you can’t put a price on trustworthiness.

I spoke to a representative from the company explaining that I was interested in a car and would be paying in cash. An appointment was set up for the next day. The morning of the appointment an assigned sales person (Q) called me to confirm the appointment.The dealership is 26 miles from my home, we confirmed the vehicle I had an interest in and he confirmed it was available. After a 26 mile drive there he informed me the car was up on a lift, the engine and exhaust system were on the ground.One would think a good sales person would have checked on the car to have it ready before I arrived. Then seeing the car was unavailable to view and take for a test drive he should have called to reschedule. Nope!!!!! Made me drive all the way there and then told me about the car.We went back to the auto shop to see the car, where “Q” then says he didn’t know the car is being serviced. A good customer service person should know!Anyway, I agreed to discuss a price, we returned to his office. He asked for my drivers license made a copy returned it to me and disappeared for over 8 minutes. When he returned he began to tell me that their “sale” prices are based on financing, which I responded that this is a cash sale. He interpreted me saying “are you going to let me do my job”.My response was “not if you’re going to tell me about financing”. He then turned over a piece of paper he had and showed me a price that was $3,000 more than the advertised price.I thanked him for wasting my time and left! I highly recommend NOT To EVER even consider this dealership!!!!!
Had to wait a few minutes before being helped but staff was courteous and helpful. Was worth hour and a half trip because I saved about 4500 dollars and dealer actually listened when I asked for a few minutes to discuss the car with my wife instead of hovering over us. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 strictly because I prefer buying cars outright and a chunk of the savings were tied into financing. Overall was about as decent a experience as car buying can be.
I brought my car in to have the recalled airbag replaced. Every step of the way was handled with complete professionalism and highest customer focus. I appreciated the email reminder about my appointment. The technician went the extra mile to point out spots in the waiting room and showroom that we most socially distanced. THE WORST DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE Ive ever had!! If I could give zero stars, I would! I called them and verified the price and I asked two times if the price is correct and they confirmed it over the phone. I even asked Christian (Sales Person) if I can get any incentives on top of the advertised price and he said yes and when I come over I can talk to his boss, his name is Mo. Since I was out of town I was a little late for the original appointment and they have changed my appointment to a person whose name is Max. He did welcome us and gave us the key to do the test drive. All the bad experience has started when we came back from the test drive and had a hard copy from their website. We showed their prices and Max said that is a typo on website. I was showing him how is it possible to have typo for 3 similar cars and he refused it. In other models they have listed the same. This dealer is very dishonest and also overall they behave very rude. I was really disappointed and hope Nissan can check its dealerships to see how they are representing them as a brand. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN from this dealership.

ZERO stars for Liberty Kia ... DO NOT recommend this place!!!! Not only was the saleswoman rude and condescending, she got an attitude every time I questioned anything. She had to leave the room about 30 times to get an answer to literally EVERYTHING I asked. Then most of the time, she didnt come back with an answer anyway. Their so called finance dept did nothing but try to rail me on financing and price, and I wasnt allowed to see any paperwork to take time to look over what the details were. They tried to lie about Kias financing terms, as well as my interest rate. I ended up going elsewhere, got the SAME EXACT car, for far less price, a super low interest rate, and at a $60 PER MONTH LESS payment than what these people were trying to rail me with. The other dealership threw in a Kia rebate as well as the low interest rate terms (0.9%). The general manager of Liberty Kia definitely needs to re-train his staff in honesty and attitude on how to treat customers. This woman talked to us like we were unintelligent morons ... we obviously walked out. As we were walking out, we could hear her very loudly complaining about how we arent going to do it now and how she wasted her time ... it echoed throughout the dealership it was so loud. Extremely unprofessional and dishonest dealership. Ill never go back and neither will my significant other ... who is a doctor btw ... who loves to buy cars ... bad move on your part. You should be careful how you treat people.

Libertyville Volkswagen is not like it used to be. We are in the middle of a pandemic and many of the employees were either not wearing masks or wore them around their necks. This was the second visit in a row that they did not do all of the service work requested. After starting my car I notice a dashboard light on for something that was supposed to be fixed...I had to point this out to them so they could actually fix the problem. Very disappointing. They used to be top notch in service but I cant say that any longer.
Quinton was great! We had been getting the run around with a few other deals and he made the process painless. He asked what we needed and worked with us to get to that desired number:) was very happy with the experience with the dealer overall.
After discussing details about a car including the price on phone, which was advertised by this dealer on their website, when I arrived to buy this car, I was told that the car is still a service car and cant be sold. Also I was told that their internet sales guy does not know about this. They tried to sell me other cars which I wasnt interested in. Finally when I decided upon a car, and also agreed to price at the end they slapped a dealer prep charge of about $1,000. They removed that partially only after I agreed to finance the car. It looks like they get kickbacks from the bank for financing. The managers are pretty rude. The only good guy was Ricardo. Think twice before going to this dealership.

I purchased a car they promise to put the fog light in and I was able to get it done cheaper and they won’t give me my money back they also charged me for a warranty I couldn’t use and I told them I didn’t want it and they said I had to have it. So beside the commission they made out with an additional 2468.00 dollars of my money since I have had the car I gave to put in repairs over 3000.00. They repaired it once and I had to have the work redone within 8 monthsStay clear of this dealership unless you have an endless pocket book to repair the junks they sell and also when you go there it takes for hours I should have known when I was looking at the car and sitting in it when another salesman’s starts showing it to another customer

In Liberty Kia the only good thing is the cars. Starting because they dont even offer you a coffee even if you are going to spend thousands of dollars with them in a car, I know other dealers and they are friendly and if they offer you coffee, cookies, water. The sellers service is bad and the worst thing is that I saw a car on the internet at a price and when I went to see it they showed me that same car ten thousand dollars more expensive and they told me that for the taxes. Ten thousand dollars more seriously? As I told you, the seller was angry. I didnt like how they treated me and I went to another dealer.

Q was a great help - he was organized and ensured we were well taken care of when we test drove the vehicles we were interested in. He also took extra care to ensure all surfaces were sterilized throughout the process given the pandemic. He answered our questions honestly and was fair throughout the negotiation process. His boss, Greg, also conversed with us as negotiations came to a head and he was kind and level during the conversation. We came out of the process with a great deal and a car that we love. The staff also stayed after hours to ensure financing was finalized and we could drive the car off the lot that day. All in all, the process took about three hours and it didnt feel rushed or belabored.
