Its a dump. Its a very nice dump as far as dumps go.
Helpful employees and a great place to dispose of yard waste, metal scrap, and even tattered flags. Hazardous waste days are pretty frequent on Saturdays throughout the spring and summer. Although there are huge lives those days Clean Harbors (the contracted waste collectors) make the process simple.Much of the yard waste gets composted for resale and the massive solar array generates over 2 megawatts for the towns buildings... both huge revenue generators.Although they are closed Saturdays its still easy to find time to use the facility throughout the week or on Sundays. Idiot reviewers like Bill Cole just need to better prioritize their schedule like most capable adults.
Closed on weekends much of the year .....so really not a facility for residents who work at a job to use.Seven months later: even worse their summer hours are only to 3pm but it doesn’t say so in google
Easy to use facility. Drop grass cuttings etc on their compost heap. Turn right thru the gate then left for grass cuttings. You can also recycle cardboard boxes in the slips on the left. Staff happy to help. Please note it is next to the rifle range so watch if you have pets in the car as they could get frightened. Hours varies depending on season.
Great service for landscapers. Well run. Employees are pleasant.
