I have nothing but great things to say about Columbia Martial Arts and Fitness! Sifu Mark and Steven are great and will take the time to make sure your welcome and completely understand what is being taught. My son also enjoys the lessons and has grown more confidence.

This school teaches legit Jeet Kune Do straight from Sigung Bruce Lee through Guro Dan Inosanto. Sifu Mark and Steven are phenomenal instructors and Im very happy to be training in their school.

This is a soccer mom, feel good dojo. This is not where you send your kids if you like serious martial arts. Do yourself a favor and put them in a real training program. Unless you like the soccer mom fakery, then you will love this place. This is a skill I want my children to learn, and take with them in life, if their not prepared then I have wasted my money. Feel good BS just doesnt cut it. Do you want your kid to learn kata dances, or muscle memory? To do this properly they must be able to spar. You wont find that here, at least that is what was conveyed to me via the phone.

Great place they make exercise fun while building confidence. Awesome students and staff everyone has respect for one another.

This is absolutely the best place in the south for all your familys martial arts or fitness programs. Sifu Mark and his team are great with the kids and the adults. This is a family owned business and everyone is treated like family. If you want the best results then check them out. Ask about their trial programs to see if it fits what your looking for. You wont be disappointed! My son has been a member for a year and a half. We couldnt be more pleased with the result . His school work has also improved because of his focus and rewards. They work with the school and teachers to help improve all activities with you children.

Our family has been going here for about 6 years now. Their program has done wonders for our sons confidence and I have found the motivation to lose over 50 pounds and maitain that loss now for almost two years! The owners and staff feel like family. We absolutely love it here!

Absolutely wonderful! The staff is incredible, from the girls at the desk to the instructors themselves. My son has been going for 4 1/2 yrs now and even though it is a 50 minute drive one way, in horrible traffic, twice a week, we wouldn’t change anything!

I cannot begin to express our dedication to Columbia Martial Arts! They have always been very much involved in the training and needs of my Grandson! He has never been given anything, but, has been pushed to do his very best, therefore, he has been rewarded for his accomplishments! CMA is amazing!! You couldn’t ask for better instructors to teach our kids karate and self defense. Varied Martial Arts are taught and handled by competent instructors. All training achievements are documented through Certification. We get more than our moneys worth because our son learns discipline and sees the importance of physical fitness.

This is an awesome place to take your kids! Not only will they learn martial arts moves but they will be taught life lessons. They are being taught that this is a while life experience not just for this class. They also treat everyone like family!! Awesome teachers too!

CMA has been an amazing experience for my son and our family! My son is the youngest of 3 boys and isn’t into sports like his older brothers. We wanted to help him find his niche. Needless to say CMA was it! The instructors and staff there are awesome! They are extremely encouraging and expect nothing but the best from students! They work on monthly character skills along with weekly challenges to make your child the best they can be. We have developed many friendships due to CMA. This present was the best one we have ever given our son! I HIGHLY recommend CMA!!

The instructors are awesome with all students, from the Tiny Dragons (4 - 6) to adult. There is after school care available as well as all day summer camp, which include weekly field trips. Academics and respect for self and others are a top priority.

Best martial arts school in the Midlands area of South Carolina. It offers a plethora of martial arts styles (e.g. wing chun, kali, Thai boxing, mixed martial arts,etc.). The facilities are clean and top-notch. They have both special after-school programs for kids along with parents night out options. I heartily recommend both adults and children of all skill levels.

My daughter has been a student at CMA for a year and a half. It was the best decision we have ever made to enroll her at CMA! She has learned so much in such a short period of time. She never wants to miss class. She even asked to add a class!CMA is the real deal! If you are looking for a place that actually makes the student their priority and not the students money....this is it! We have been to another martial arts school and she didnt learn anything. Here are things to ask any martial arts school you are considering:1. Is there an attendance requirement to belt up? If no, move on. If they dont care that your child is there enough to learn what they need to learn to earn that belt, they are just about money and not about your child. CMA cares about the child learning. There is an attendance requirement to belt up and there is a make-up night because they understand things come up.2. Do you have to pay additional money each time you belt up? CMA doesnt charge an extra fee for the belt. It is absolutely free. Again, CMA is about the child, not the money.3. Do you test students to make sure they have learned what they are supposed to in order to earn that belt? If they dont test, that belt isnt earned. They care more about keeping your money each month rather than making sure your child has learned the skills he/she was supposed to learn. CMA has a review the week before testing and then they test the week of belt graduation. EVERY belt that a CMA student receives is EARNED.The entire staff is absolutely wonderful and made us feel like part of the CMA family from the very beginning. CMA classes have tremendously improved my daughters ability to focus. She has ADHD and she has been able to get off of her medication during weekends, holidays, and summer since starting CMA. She has dropped down to the lowest dosage of her medication during the school year. If things continue as they have been, she will be able to get off of her medication altogether by next school year.I cant say enough good things about CMA! They are THE BEST!!
