Losing a loved one is never easy but the caring way I was treated made this experience a little less stressful. I really appreciated how my calls and texts were returned immediately. Also the information given to us as to what ones need to do after losing a loved one has been so valuable. I have checked off so many things that I would have never thought about doing. It has helped me to be so organized, taking everything step by step. The package gave us not only who to call but had the phone numbers needed! Thank you again!

Our experience with Woodridge was excellent! The customer service, professionalism, care in helping us honor our Mom in the manor she deserved for her Memorial and the directors philosophy of treating others how they would want to be treated, was the best Ive seen in years! We wanted everything to be perfect for our Mom and David, the director, made sure of that! He thought of things that we didnt even think of. David gave us his cell number also in case we had any questions and answered our questions on a holiday weekend along with offering to come in on the holiday to meet with us. The turnaround on getting back our final paperwork, etc., was quicker than we had anticipated. David went over and above to make sure we had everything just right for our Mom. Thank you so much David for all you did for us as we truly appreciate everything you did to make things easier for us! Thanks to your staff as well, as they were great too! We highly recommend Woodridge because of their director, David Hardee!

Very professional and helpful. I’ve never had to handle a funeral before. Answered all my questions and took care of everything they could. They treated my family member, family and I with respect. They took the best care of my Mom.

David Hardee was the consummate professional with an amicable demeanor. His goal was to ensure my complete satisfaction with Woodridges services. He understood and accommodated my needs. David was present at my husbands services, even though it was his day-off, to ensure all went as smoothly as expected.Gregg Pinner handled the memorial park portion of Woodridge s services. Hes low-keyed, but effective.In general, the staff is pleasant and helpful. In my opinion, David sets the parameters as the funeral director. I would absolutely recommend David and Woodridge.

I dealt with staff years again and they were very professional. I have no idea that any of those people are there. My concern is the upkeep the the property. It is perpetual care but leaves too much left done. Some plots need grass, shrubs need care, grass always needs cutting. Very disappointed in the care after they have your money.

We had an unexpected death in the family and didnt know where to turn. We chose Woodridge because my initial phone call to them was handled so effectively. Our expectations were abundantly exceeded. I worked with David Hardee entirely over the phone and via email from Virginia while making arrangements for my aunts funeral service and burial in South Carolina. Right from the start I was impressed with his caring, professional manner and his attention to detail. He communicated with the funeral home here in Virginia and helped me select a casket over the computer. He arranged to have her body picked up from the airport when she arrived. I was blown away when he took the initiative to go to my aunts former church to meet with the pastor in advance of the funeral service to go over their protocols. Every step of the way he was there, paying attention to the details. The day of the funeral he helped guide me as to where I needed to be and when, as I was from out of town and in a foreign environment. He made arrangements for the spray of flowers on the casket and for a police escort to the cemetery, which was a flawless thing of beauty. Everything about the day was picture perfect thanks to this man who is so VERY good at his job. I highly recommend David Hardee and Woodridge Funeral Home and Memorial Park.

I am so glad I chose them, Greg Edwards was the best funeral director, not only did he explain everything in detail, each week he would give a personal call just to make sure everything was okay and to see if anything else is needed.Everyone there was so understanding and loving like you are their family. I cannot speak highly enough of Woodridge Funeral Home, especially David Hardee. I would give them 10 stars if I could. We had initially made burial arrangements with Dave at Thompson. As he had transferred from Thompson to Woodridge, we opted to go with Woodridge due to Daves professionalism and caring nature. Ultimately we learned that the same services at Woodridge would be less than Thompson.At each step Dave was there to assist the family. Our loved one was treated with reverence and respect as he was removed from our home and then we he was received at the funeral home. As he was a veteran, he was treated as such, draped in an American flag, and diligently and respectfully taken from the house. Upon visitation, he remained draped in the American flag. Dave also had no issues with making any changes or additional adjustments as the need arose.Dave assistance through this painful process was amazing. He explained each step and was always available for questions or concerns. Everyone at Woodridge had no issues with my daily visitations and treated our loved one with such respect. Woodridge handled all the issues in regard to my husbands military burial honors and made, what can be a difficult and daunting task, move smoothly. I cannot recommend them or David Hardee enough, especially to veteran families. He and Woodridge care about the families they work with and treat our departed loved ones with such dignity and respect.
