I’m not going to give you guys a good or bad review but this is a VERY IMPORTANT message. I wasn’t a customer (my neighbor was) and one of your employees knocked and rang my doorbell asking if we had plumbing issues. He was told he had the wrong house, not 116 but 118. He apologized and proceeded to next door. 30mins or so later the same man BARGED into my home (door was unlocked because my brother was taking out the trash) and RAN UP the stairs looking for some guy named Ralph. I’m going to be straightforward with you guys, you almost lost an employee today. Train your employees to do better at reading or paying attention to their environment. This encounter could’ve ended tragically and I wouldn’t know what to do with myself!

I have used doctor rooter once before and I had an amazing experience for my first time using them when my main sewer drain had clogged. Today I experienced another clog in my main sewer drain and called doctor rooter at 8:25 pm and when I spoke to the plumber on call he didn’t give me a time frame on when he would be at my residence, mind you he was not at another job. Two hours go by and I call them back to either get an eta on the plumber or cancel the service, well let’s just say the plumber had no problem canceling the job. The last time this happened I called at 11pm and had the plumber here by 1130 pm and he was done by 1215 am. Definitely disappointed with my most recent experience.

Your service man Larry was very courteous, efficient and knowledgeable conducting repairs with the highest professionalism taking the time to explain what he was doing. I will be recommending Dr. Rooter to every one I meet having plumbing issues as opposed to local plumbers that I have used in the past. Very impressed with the professionalism of both Sam and Hunter. They came out in a timely manner yesterday, Sunday, to unclog a worrisome drain. I really appreciate them being available to come on a weekend. They also explained to me the problem and why the drain was backing up. Jacob from Dr. Rooter was awesome. Had to have my maintenance call in plumbers on a Saturday morning because a burst pipe had flooded our entire lower level. Jacob came to our condo quickly and fixed the pipe. We needed large repairs that couldn’t be done without replacement items and more plumbers, but he made it so that we would be safe from any flooding until they can do those on a weekday. Jacob was friendly, understanding, and super helpful.

Larry from Dr. Rooter was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. We woke up to a blocked septic this morning (so all our sinks/showers/toilets were backing up) -- we called Dr. Rooter, and Larry was here in a matter of hours and had the problem resolved quickly at a reasonable cost. Highly recommended.

I had a problem with Garbage Disposal leaking on the bottom. My wife called 10 different plumbers and none of them could come out in the same week (we called on Tuesday). Then we called Dr. Rooter, they were able to send someone out the next day. Toshi was very friendly and professional. He asked me whats the problem with the Garbage Disposal and he gave me an estimated replacement cost. The price was very reasonable and he replaced it within 15 minutes.

We wanted a water softener installed as well as a reverse osmosis system, a faucet changed and a leak repaired in the home we just purchased. They never showed up on the date or time of the appointment, so my husband called the following day and theu did send a man out. He didnt want to install the softener or r.o. system, he did supposedly repair the leak under the tub, and then said he would charge us 450.00 to simply change put the kitchen faucet. We sent him on his way after paying him 125.00 for absolutely nothing. Very annoyed since we were very explicit about what we wanted completed. I am sure that a different plumbing company will be more than happy to show up at the time of the appointment on the day of the appointment and do the jobs that we have to be done. Do not recommend this comapny at all at this point.

Called Dr Rooter at 530pm on a Monday when the hot water shutoff valve under my kitchen sink popped off. It was fixed and the tech, Toshi, on his way by 650pm. I was extremely pleased with the knowledge and speed with which it was fixed.

Nick did an outstanding job of clearing our 2 clogs in our kitchen sink drain. He knew exactly where the clog was and cleaned it within 35 minutes. He arrived during the time frame that was mentioned. Very thorough, very efficient, highly qualified and highly recommended!!! Thank you, Dr. Rooter!!

Well, lets just say, dont DIY.After calling myself saving money we elected to DO IT OURSELVES and screwed up. So after hours with no water we decided to give these guys a call after reading such rave reviews. And trust me all hold true. They were on time and knew exactly what to do. Pretty affordable to. Wed been told by previous plumbers that the only way to fix the blocked sink in our apartment was by going through the wall, so we were elated when Dr. Rooter sent Toshi. He told us that removing the sink and going through the wall was completely unnecessary. Toshi took the time to listen to us and the building maintenance crew on how the water moves between the shared pipes of our apartment building and then patiently maneuvered a snake to fix our problem with no destruction. He cared about doing the job properly and honestly. This saved us a lot of money! He was very professional throughout the entire process.

Nick came out, found and took care of my leak in no time at all. Greatly appreciated and thank you for coming out at 9pm.

Toshi was great! He was very quick fixing the faucet and also addressed a leak under the sink that we weren’t aware of. He was very professional and personable. Hopefully we won’t need Dr. Rooter again in the near future, but if we do, we would definitely hope to see him again!

We discovered a leaking pipe in our crawl space around 7pm on a Friday night. Called Dr. Rooter and the operator quickly connected me with their on-call guy Toshi. Toshi was friendly and professional. He quickly assessed the issue. He didn’t have the part on hand but after a quick trip Lowe’s he returned and had us patched up in just a few minutes. I will definitely use Dr. Rooter again and request Toshi if he is available.

Toshi came to fix my showers after two other plumbers were unable to fix or correctly diagnose the issue. Toshi did an amazing job and fixed both of my showers in just a few short hours. He was very professional and friendly.

Dr. Rooter came out to the rental house where I stay to fix a leak beneath the kitchen sink (couldn’t wash dishes or use the sink) and a backup in the washer drain that was preventing me from using my washer. Nick was the definition of professional as he identified what was causing the issues and fixed them extremely quickly. Called Dr. Rooter about a clogged drain on Saturday. The dispatcher texted the plumber and said he would call back. He called back and said he would be out within a couple of hours. He was the only plumber that called me back. He came out and looked at the problem and that the pipe would have to be replaced and that he would be back on Sunday. He came back on Sunday and replaced the pipe. DJ did an excellent job and the pricing was very good. They do not charge extra for coming out on the weekend. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a plumber. I called quite a few plumbing companies and the only person I talked to was the dispatcher. I will call Dr. Rooter for all my plumbing needs.

My parents had and emergency water break on July 11th... a Saturday night.We called this company after calling Meetze Plumbing, who didnt bother to ever call us back to schedule someone to come out.Meetze Plumbing had the nerve to not even answer any of our calls after they initially lied and said someone would call back to schedule.Dr. Rooter shouldve been my first call.They sent out a wonderful young man by the name of Nick. He was courteous, professional and quick.Were talking 10 p.m. on. Saturday night.We live in Columbia and my parents in Gaston.We wanted to pay for the job from our home, although the work was down in Gaston.No problem. I spoke to the owner of dr rooter about the incident and he did not think his worker had did any thing wrong. I had called within a month ago for the same problem and was charged for each call. I do not recommend their services and will not use them again.

Called needing semi-emergency repair- a technician arrive at my home within an hour and had me fixed shortly after at half of the price as the competition quoted. Ill be calling Dr. Rooter for my plumbing needs going forward!

I had used Dr. Rooter several times over the years. Some of the technicians were quite good, others mediocre. I was having a sewer backing up, so I spoke to them at 7:30 am. They assigned a technician to me. I was told that he would be out that day, and they would call me with an estimated time frame. At lunch time, I had not heard from them, so I called just to inquire if there was an idea about the time they would be out. I wanted to plan. There representative told me that they would not be able to be out that day. I explained that Id spoken to someone earlier who said they would send someone out today. She said Well, Im telling you that we cant She raised her voice. She was rude and abrupt. I wanted to let her know that I had used them before, and that it was frustrating that they would not have called me back to let me know that no one was coming, so I could make other arrangements. but before I could talk, she hung up on me. I was calm, never raised my voice, and I was treated with utter disrespect. I will never use this company again, and I suggest to you, that you look elsewhere if you are looking for reliability, and customer care.

I had them come out to fix a leak under our sink. They arrived on time and performed the work as expected. Tech was nice and friendly. Will use them again.

In June 2019, a large utility company damaged my sewer drain line while boring to lay new conduit. The first plumbing company I contacted estimated my total cost would be nearly $2500 to dig up and repair the sewer line. Ouch! Then I contacted Dr. Rooter to camera the line, and Nick, their terrific technician, discovered that the damaged and collapsed drain line had been caused by the utility company when they drilled. Nicks camera and locator pinpointed that the damage to the line was on the easement. Eventually the repair was done at no cost to me by the municipality, but I have had to file a Freedom of Information request to try to get the name of the contracted company in order to be reimbursed for the $500+ costs I incurred as a result of their faulty work. The big breath of fresh air in this smelly sewer saga has been Dr. Rooter. Without Nicks professional expertise, I would have had to foot the bill for a big corporations negligence. Thanks Nick and thanks Dr. Rooter!!

I called Dr. Rooter in Lexington a couple months back. I had an issue with a water heater and a possible leaking water pipe under the house. I called around 9am and by noon the same day both problems were fixed for, what I consider to be, a small fee. Omar was the technician that was sent to the house and he was easy to talk with and he explained to me what the problems were, what was causing them, how he fixed them and how much it would cost before he started the repairs.My only gripe was that the office neglected to tell the technician about the possible leaking water pipe under the house. The tech. only found out when I mentioned it to him after he diagnosed the water heater problem.

Toshi and Jacob got to my home and were relentless in their efforts to solve our sewage backup issue. They left no stone unturned in their efforts, until they were able to prove that the issue was on the City side and therefore not our liability. Thanks to Dr. Rooter and these guys!!!
