We loved living at Avalon at Lexington. The apartments were great, with very good amenities. The people living in the community were all nice and polite, many of them with families. And the leasing office, which provides various services, was very helpful - Jim Farrell was especially great, and always did an excellent job in making things easy. Highly recommended.

We moved here a little over a year ago and we love this property! It is very quiet and family friendly. Amenities are great and well maintained, property just got a new playground, gym equipment is updated. This summer office and maintenance teams made it possible for residents to be able to use gym and pool while strictly following Covid-19 safety guidelines. Jim and Kristina are doing great job on communicating with residents and resolving all kinds of issues. Avalon does special events for residents throughout the year - Halloween parties, BBQ for residents, ice cream truck etc. This makes a difference and creates welcoming atmosphere!Maintenance technicians always doing their best to complete work orders in timely manner. There is always a person on call, 24/7 in case of an emergency. The property is conveniently located close to major highway, shopping areas, schools and recreation areas. We definitely love living here.

I rarely give reviews but was compelled to give a big thank you to Mike Reid who came into my apartment home to address some maintenance issued that I had. Mike went above and beyond to repair any issues that I had. His workmanship and attention to detail is a testimonial to the dedication he has for the residence here. He is a great asset to Avalon and is top notch professional!

Excellent place, next to a large supermarket, close to Starbucks and staffed by really kind and helpful people. Requests are handled promptly and professionally (special thanks to Katherine, Jim and Nicole).The area is rather quiet. One thing as someone mentioned previously is that you can hear your upstairs neighbor walking around, but other than that there is no other noise. If I could provide an early feedback: the cardboard recycling bin needs to be emptied out more often. Haven’t had the chance yet to try out other common facilities.

Hi there, I have been in Avalon at Lexington for almost one year, the services of maintenance team are so impressive, they react fast to our request, and always resolve the problem quickly, and they never mess up your apartment after providing maintenance services. Their professionalism and cleanliness is highly appreciated.

The maintenance group of Avalon at Lexington is amazing! Super responsive and efficient! I got my clogged sink fixed within one hour from when I submitted the ticket. Really impressive! Additionally, Michael is always so nice to talk with and super helpful!

The maintenance team always respond quickly after requesting a maintenane. Byrant and Jon are polite and professional when doing their maintenace job.

The staff has always been attentive, helpful, friendly, and overall made me feel like I was in a community I could call home. The amenities are regularly sanitized and have an organized reservation system in light of COVID. The maintenance team of Avalon is also unbeatable. They are quick to respond to your online portal requests and quick to fix any issues you may be having.Lastly, a special shoutout to Jim in the leasing office. He was always available to any questions I had during my lease and has been such a great connection for me while at Avalon. Its rare to have a leasing office that actually connects with you on a personal level, and it makes it hard to leave! The community here is great. I love that the COVID rules are strict but reasonable which allow us to use the facilities safely. The office staff are always very helpful and courteous, and any maintenance issues are always addressed promptly, thanks to Jim, Kristina and Mike!

Our family is grateful for living in this community. Its been a long year under Covid-19 restrictions and both maintenance and office teams been doing such an awesome job keeping up with all the safety rules. All kids (and parents) in the property are more than excited about new playground being finally reopened (Avalon goes above and beyond with Covid-19 safety guidelines). Special thanks to property maintenance crew. Jon, Mike and Bryan make a great team of proactive, efficient and hard-working technicians. Work orders are completed in timely manner and any issue gets resolved. Like usually, maintenance team is an invisible force behind everything running smooth.

Nice place to live with my two kids aged 6 and 4. They love the playground, pool and the little hill when they feel like going to the woods and observing seasonal changes in nature. Outdoor activities were crucial in keeping everyone sane in the pandemic. My unit even has a fireplace where the whole family gathers around during the winter holidays.James from the rental office responds promptly to our requests and is very pleasant to work with.We moved out two weeks ago. My kids miss their old home and all the fun time living there. Their drawing says it much better than my words.

After we moved out of the apartment, Avalon actually deducted more than $700 from our previous deposit without communicating with us, saying it was a fine for carpet stains. Firstly, this carpet is very old when we moved in. Secondly, Avalon should have been renovated the apartment and replaced the carpet one year ago. Such a high fine is obviously unreasonable and very unfair to the tenants. We are very disappointed!

The office speaks with the residents in a very impolite manner.Maintenance very weak, leaves your items broken for more than a week.

We absolutely love it here!!! Since the very first day I stopped by to see a few apartments until this very day, we absolutely love it. And more than anything, it’s Jim and Kristina who we absolutely adore. And over a period of time, I’ve interacted more with Jim who’s always gone out of his way to make sure everything’s okay and on track. Never had this kind of a relationship with management before but these two lovely people get a 10/10 from us!!!

Front office team members are fox. They feel residents are fools. For any reported issue they make excuses that make no sense. On rental side also, they try to cheat residents and keep on changing statements to get higher rentals. Wish i can give them 0 star. Bunch of cheater!!

Avalon at Lexington is a great place to live. The leasing office team is very organized and responsive. We found a well maintained apartment when we moved in. The Shuttle service makes it so easy to connected to the red lines station. I like the Avalon online web-site where you can control everything from there. Special thanks to Kristina & Jim as they were very professional we us.

We have been living here for almost 5 years. Previously we lived in Eaves apartments in Burlington where we had the pleasure of knowing Jim. Shortly after Jim transferred over to Avalon at Lexington ridge drive which we were very happy about. Jim always goes above and beyond if we have any questions or concerns. Always taking that extra step to make sure everyone is happy. Thank you Jim for everything you do!

We had a terrific experience with the staff at Avalon at Lexington at 100 Lexington Ridge Road. They are great ambassadors for Avalon and they made the entire process so easy for us. In particular we worked with Jim and he was terrific. He was so helpful and professional and answered all our questions quickly and thoroughly and we are so appreciative. When he showed us their lovely apartments he took the time to answer all our questions about the apartments and about all that Avalon has to offer. Kristina also helped us and they were both great and truly helped us navigate the rental process with ease.

The staff are terrific. Jim is awesome. When he is engaging with you, you get the sense that he is genuinely, warmly and professionally focusing on serving you. As a current resident, I can say since COVID-19, Avalon has been very irresponsible. The office phone is never picked up. At least there should be some follow up when a voice mail is left but none. Their emergency number is a joke. There is an issue with the air conditioning left unattended for one year, work order raised again- no response since 10 days in the peak of summer. The rent charged is ridiculously high but the quality that renters receive is pathetic.

Ive just resigned my lease for the third year here. Great place to live. Location-wise, it is really close to Route 2, and also easy to get to 95. If you need to get into the city (which I need to often), it is pretty easy.Really close to a lot of stores including a lot of retail stores, and also within walking distance to my car mechanic. The grocery store is open til midnight, so makes it easy to get food late. I also really appreciate that the laundry is in unit.In terms of staff and service, Avalon has been great. They respond really quickly to service requests, even minor things. The staff at the front office is really friendly, as are the neighbors.One person previously complained about the gym - the recently renovated it and has everything that you would need for a gym. (not sure what the issue is there?)They do a good job with upkeep, regularly have landscapers come to make sure things look nice, they clean the common areas regularly, and keep things in great condition.

Community is clean, staff is fantastic. We looked at many homes in the area but this place had everything we were looking for. Our kids love it!

Lived at Lexington Ridge for a full year before moving to Avalon Bear Hill. Great office and maintenance staff, Jim, Kristina, Mike, and Jon. Loved being near all the stores. Would recommend! I also used the shuttle almost everyday to get to work. LIFE SAVER!

I have lived at Avalon at Lexington for more than 2 years. It is not cheap but I think it is worth it. It is very quiet and clean. Recently our apartment need some normal maintenance work. Everything was done very efficient, very clean and in my opinion at very good quality.

I lived in Avalon for 15 months. The 2 bedroom with a loft was a great choice, it is even more spacious as a 3 bedroom apartment and has a high ceiling with very good natural light. I also like the fact of living at the 3rd floor as it is much quieter than the other floor given the fact there is no neighbors upstairs.The management team has been great all along, thanks to Monica and team for being very attentive to all my request. The service team has provide me and my family high service standard, Trent is awesome. Since day 1 when he handover our key until the last day coming to inspect the apartment, he made sure we have everything we need.Thank you to the Avalon team to make a great living experience.

Great location with great schools. The office team is very friendly and maintenance team is very helpful. We had to break our lease due to job change and Avalon Relocation Advantage program is wonderful!

The staff and management has been excellent in terms of their service. Chris the handy guy rain or shine he will be there when you need. Monica is fabulous and is a great manager. Kristina is wonderful as well.

There are many places to live at these day and all within the fairly the same price range for what your looking for, so in choosing a place to call your Home you want to feel comfortable in your decisions. I’ve lived in this community for over three years and have never had a complaint. I love the gym. The grounds and buildings are well kept and the snow removal is terrific. The few maintence requests I’ve had have always been handled promptly, courteously and, more important, thoughtfully. All the staff, but especially the new manager, Jim Farrell, always follow up on requests and inquiries.

I have been living here for the last 15 years. That should say everything about this place and why I chose not to move out. I will be leaving soon due to my work relocation in the Baltimore/DC area. The Staffs here are very friendly and they will immediately address tenants problem. This is a very peaceful place to live and so convenient to everything.

Monica is magnificent! She made the whole move in process as easy as could be. From the first tour to the signing of the lease everything was so simple!So far, so good!!

We stayed at Lexington Ridge for 6 months and we felt right at home. The management at the office was extremely accommodating every step of the way. A special shout out to Monica at the office who knew us by our first name, making this experience very personable. Our kids felt comfortable and safe in the Avalon Lexington Ridge environment/community.

We just signed two days ago and we are moving in for April, and Jim F. the sales and service supervisor was on top of everything for us. The apartment looks beautiful and the communication was superb.

Ever since we moved here, the experience has been delightful. The Avalon management team is extremely friendly and helpful including during emergencies. The maintenance department is wonderful, especially Chris Miller. He has been very helpful so many times.My only issue is that the neighbors upstairs can be too loud. Noise is certainly an issue.

A quite and cozy community in a great school district, but very expensive for the quality of the apartment and amenitiesPros:- Great schools- Business centers within walk-able distance- Big, spacious gym and wi-fi lounge- Very helpful and accommodating staff. When we wanted to move to a bigger house, Monica was very helpful and made the transition very smooth- Great 2 bed/2 bath layoutCons:- Extremely high rents for the quality of the apartment and amenities- Old and in-efficient appliances and fittings- Very slow response to service requests (need multiple follow-ups)- Single trash/re-cycle bin area- AC takes 3-4 hours to cool/heat- No elevators

My family had moved in Avalon at Lexington from middle of Jan. 2017, and the one reason we decided to find leasing room is the recommendations from some friends who had lived here already. From the very beginning of lease agreement signment and later moving in, we got lots of supports and helps from the manager of leasing office Monica and Stephan, they even did extra work to help us settled down the issues on electric, gas account, problems on payment for room, gas, electric, etc. The whole apartments are running excellently under Monica and Stephan works.

Not value for the money you pay the rent. Apartment is old and all the fittings are pretty old. I am not sure if all the Avalon properties are like this. But atleast this one not for the brand value Avalon has. Since the time I have moved in have been raising requests after requests to get the issues fixed. Fittings are pretty old. One trash area for the whole of the apartment.Only plus is:1. good school rating.2. near by grocery store.

My family recently moved to Avalon at Lexington. The move-in process was very smooth and the staff was excellent. Especially Monica, the manager has been very helpful, professional, and communicative. The maintenance team responds within one business day, even though they can be less than cooperative and helpful. I had a request for toilet replacement because of mold/mildew accumulation in the tank, which was faced with a lot of resistance. The head of maintenance basically implied that I was crazy and completely ignored my health concerns. They even didnt accept to disassemble the tank so I can clean underneath. The gym and grounds are extremely well-kept. Despite some minor issues, I would still refer family and friends to Avalon at Lexington.

If you want convenience combined with luxury amenities look no further! You should consider Avalon at Lexington for a number of reasons but I was most impressed by the customer service that Monica extended to me during my time at Avalon at Lexington. If and when you need her help you will be personally impressed by her commitment to solve whatever problem pops up during your time at this beautiful complex. You may find, as I did, that Monica calls back to check on whether your issue has been resolved to your satisfaction. She is sincere, friendly, and works hard to keep you happy with your Avalon experience. The same goes for the maintenance staff who can be reached at any time to resolve anything that demands immediate attention. They live in the complex and can be at your residence in a heartbeat. I always felt safe and comfortable at Avalon at Lexington.

I lived at Avalon at Lexington for the past year now, and just moved out to be closer to where I work. Without a doubt this is a fantastic community to live in. Yes, its expensive, however the grounds does a fantastic job of keeping everything tidy, removing snow promptly in the winter, and maintenance requests are typically handled the same day (we only had a few minor ones throughout our time residing there). A huge perk of the community is the free shuttle that brings residents to/from Alewife during commuting hours. This saves immensely on commuting costs. Its very easy to access either Route 2 or 95 and both are less than 5 minutes from the community.The only downside of living here for the past year is the cost of living. Lexington is a pretty expensive town, and the rent here reflects that. However, it is an extremely safe neighborhood, well located, and well maintained. Id highly recommend it to someone who wants to live near the city but also have quick access to other surrounding areas.

The maintenance team is top notch, any issues are promptly attended. The rents keep going up every year though.

My family and I have lived at Avalon at Lexington for almost 3 years and we could not be happier. The management team has worked extremely hard to create a genuine community feel, and they have really succeeded. It is not uncommon for management to host community wide cookouts and pool parties, as well as holiday get togethers. This allows many of the tenants and our families to get to know one another and build good relationships. As for the maintenance team, they do a great job of completing service requests in a timely manner, and if there is an emergency request (which Ive had once), they deal with it quickly, and they also do a phenomenal job of clearing the roads of snow and maintaining the grounds, ensuring that the property always looks clean. The staff in the leasing office is very courteous and professional, and they address all concerns promptly. Thus, overall I am extremely satisfied with Avalon at Lexington, and I consider it a great place to live.

Im delighted that Avalon Lexington has been my home for almost five years now. Its a wonderful place to live. My spacious apartment is perfect with a large balcony and deck overlooking lush greenery and mature trees, central AC, in-unit laundry, and tons of storage space! The new energy-efficient lighting is fabulous and I especially like the new LED track lighting in my dining room and office area. The management and maintenance staff are always professional and friendly and the amenities are unsurpassed. The property is extremely well-maintained and the gardens are just beautiful. Snow removal is incredible!!! Five stars for how quickly the grounds are cleared even after the biggest storms, especially during our snowy New England winters! The pool is amazing and the gym is packed with state-of-the-art equipment. Complimentary wi-fi and coffee can always be found in the resident lounge. Maintenance requests are met with a lightening fast response and the staff is knowledgeable, experienced and professional. The sense of community here is enhanced with seasonal events for the residents which are well-organized and fun. The shuttle to Alewife is another great perk that makes commuting a breeze. Parking is always abundant and the grounds are well-lit and extremely safe. The pet program is also pretty special! Its so nice that our four-footed friends are always welcome. 🐾🐾 I think that just adds to the wonderful sense of community. I cant say enough good things about Avalon Lexington, its not just a place to live, its a place to call home!

The floors and walls have no soundproofing at all ..When i first moved in it was very nice after 3 years things have changed a lot around here .

Ive lived here at Avalon @ Lexington since 2006. One of the best decisions of my life. This community is so welcoming. The staff is wonderful! they all make you feel welcome. They know us by our names, our children names, family members names etc.. I can say for sure here at Avalon @ Lexington most residents are family oriented, and liked by each other including the children. Most of the people here look out for each other. As, far as staffing in the office Shatara has wonderful customer service skills, very professional, always greet with a pleasant smile, and for Monica being fairly new, she just fit right in. Nygil the maintence man is also a delight to have around here, he is so sufficient, and so funny. never a dull moment with him. Great team work here at Avalon. I love being a Avalon @ Lexington Resident.

A comfortable place to stay..

Been a resident here for 3 years. Rooms are obviously low quality, horrible lighting, constant utility failures, house occationally collapses (no joke).Gym is super small, pool is too small, wifi lounge too small, have way more TVs then necessary (most of then actually arent even connected properly).Obnoxious loud neighborhoods (I actually blame the thin flooring because you can even hear people walk and talk clearly)Small bathrooms with loud fans that turn on with the light, poorly designed everything (kitchen, bathrooms, living rooms, outlets placements)Smell occumilates in the halls of all the cooking everyone does. Occationally power goes out and if youre stuck outside, bad luck for you, because the key card box goes out with the power.Often forgets about maintenance dates and they need to be reminded. They dont take care of the gym equipment and they often break (they dont fix it either). They dont leave towels to clean up the equipment either (unless if you ask).After living here for 3 years it was painfully obvious that Avalon only cares about the money in youre wallet. Dont live here if your planning to settle for 5+ years.
