Thank you Abberly Crest for making our short term lease perfect. The office staff and maintenance crew are always responsive, efficient and professional. We love that our apartment backs to the woods. I always feel safe in this quiet neighborhood. We also have been enjoying the pools this summer. We truly couldnt love this apartment any more. I highly recommend.
I specifically want to give a shout out to Amy in the leasing office. Every time Ive spoken with her, she has given me an accurate, educated and confident response immediately. Im not very big on leaving reviews but I have been compelled as I am thoroughly impressed by her professionalism. Its very evident that she is very proud of the community she works at and the people that live here. The whole community operation is exceptional! The cleanliness is of the neighborhood is second to none. Im assuming that the maintenance manager is very respected by his workers because they have to be inspired by someone to hold themselves to the standards they do. Ive filed 2 maintenance requests while Ive been here and both were fulfilled in the same day. DO NOT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE LANDSCAPING--- its excellent. There has to be over a thousand hedge bushes on this property and there is not a single leaf out of place. The whole staff here really cares about the community. I highly recommend.
I did not want to leave this place but due to circumstances, I had to go. However, they were with me every step of the way. Especially one of the staff in the leasing office named Deven. She was amazing. She handled everything efficiently although I didnt begin my process with her. She picked up my file and did not miss a beat. If I have another opportunity to come back and live here, this will be my first choice and unless she is getting more money in management, I hope she is here to greet me. All the staff was great by the way. Deven just stood out because she made me feel like family. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
My daughter and I love it here! Its beautiful, quiet, and the staff is always so kind and responsive. I was treated as a resident before I even moved in and I feel comfortable asking them any ridiculous questions (which I absolutely do). We feel very safe here. Ive been especially impressed with the fire safety systems in the building. Each room in our apartment has a smoke detector and at least one overhead sprinkler - so important for an apartment complex! Quarantine has been difficult so we often go to the little playground or reserve time in the clubhouse when we need to get out of our apartment.
Renting at this apartment has been a great experience. Maintenance is very fast and willing to help. This complex is great and so are all the amenities. I had the easiest time working with the staff here trying to get an apartment on a week notice. This place is great and I would recommend this complex to everyone. Prices may be a little high but for an updated building the price is super worth it. This place is a great starter apartment if you are new to the area! All the spaces are super clean and neat.
I had the pleasure of having Miss. Deven assisting me throughout my rental process. She has been amazing from start to finish. I called en route to work one day and she’s who picked up the phone and has been assisting me ever since. She’s responsive, she’s kind, she’s informative, she has answered any questions I’ve had and questions I didn’t think of but needed to know. I’m so glad to have her with me through this process. She is the definition of an amazing customer service and just an all around genuine person who cares. Thank you so much Miss. Deven for helping me through this process. You’ve made the start of my experience with Abberly GREAT!!!
I extend my gratitude, appreciation and heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Abberly Crest Apartments! Over the past two months, I have had the pleasure of working directly with Estela to find a new apartment and community to call home. Estela was patient and very understanding of my situation and was always eager to assist me in finding the best unit for me! On the few times that Estela was not available, Devon, Amy, Toni and Peter were right there, jumping in and offering me the same level of respectful, exceptional customer service as Estela! The team really did go above and beyond to offer solutions and to accommodate my needs and special circumstances! More importantly, not once during this process did they make feel any way other than welcome; even when I couldn’t make up my mind on which of the amazing floorplans I wanted! I’m looking forward to a great new start and move to Abberly Crest!
I have been residing in the Abberly Crest Apartments community for over 11 years and have enjoyed every aspect of the peace and tranquility it offers. Ms. Casey Viator,Ms. Estela Dizon and the Abberly Crest Team have always provided a safe and pleasant atmosphere I can attest to. Team Abberly friendly attitude and service with a smile exemplify true professionalism. I was extremely grateful and appreciative when Estela went above and beyond her professional duties in depleting my desperation to locate a much needed face mask during the Covid-19 crisis. Estela directed me to a local business that sold face masks for a very reasonable price. Your kindness is appreciated always Estela. Thanks to the favorably Abberly Crest Team for the wonderful years in the past as I look forward to the future years sheltering in your beautiful complex.
I was most impressed with the level of knowledge and professional shown by Estela, my leasing agentHer patience and understanding exhibited during our meetings was above the required which is usually seen by leasing agents. My experience so far leaves me assured that we have most definitely pick the right place for our new home
Abberly Crest Apartment Homes are definitely, hands-down the BEST apartment community in Lexington Park!! From the staff to the amenities, this complex exceeds your expectations!
Deven Robinson is an excellent provider, consultant and a very patient person
I really love this community. They are extremely professional, friendly, and responsive. My experience with all staff has been wonderful.
Great place to live! However, make sure you give them a WRITTEN 60 days notice that you will be vacating even though your lease is ending. I received a call 2 weeks prior to my lease ending asking me if I wanted to renew to find out that you have to give them the notice in writing! I had given a verbal notice several months back that I wasn’t going to re-sign because they were raising the rent. Now I am going to be stuck paying rent for a place I won’t be in for 1.5 months on top of my new places rent. So basically, $2000 down the drain, so BE CAREFUL and make sure you get that notice in!
I resided here three years (As a military veteran). My only issue was some of the gym equipment being inoperable at times. Turn around time for maintenance request were respectful. The grounds and landscaping were maintained properly and in a professional manner. Staff was always polite and professional. Never had an issue with the staff nor maintenance crew. It was convenient to the base and base traffic. No break-ins during my tenure. Amenities were maintained properly with the exception of my complaint about some of the gym equipment. My neighbors were respectful for the the most part. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and Idhighly recommend this property in Lexington Park to anyone looking for a nice, clean, quiet place to reside.
Thank you Estela for all your help. You always go above and beyond to help me. I have lived in Abberly Crest for about 5 years now and love it. Its close to work, the amenities are great and the staff is always helpful. Any maintenance issues are taken care of immediately. I always recommend Abberly Crest to people looking for apartments. I enjoy living here. Thank you!Guy Roemer
Beautiful apartment complex! Such a cozy space. We had a great time here for the short time we were here. The rent was too high in all of Lexington Park which forced us to move. Mantainence was always great, office staff was always great. Only problem we had is when we moved out, we moved early and did not use any utilities for about two months. Had them shut off completely by the conpanies. We were still charged a very large fee for utilities that I contacted the complex about and was told theyd get back to me and drop the charges. They never contacted me and upon sending our deposit back, took out the utility fees that we did not owe due to not using any.
I really love this community. These are spacious apartments with well appointed grounds. The management goes out of their way to make you feel welcome by regularly scheduling community gatherings and the pools and club houses are kept up nicely. They offer everything anyone would ever need/want for a pleasant rental experience.
Great staff!!! Friendly and always there to assist you with your concerns. Maintenance is always on time and provide follow up when necessary. Property is always clean and well maintained.
Ive lived here for almost 2 years and I can not think of one thing to complain about. The apartments are gorgeous and very well maintained. The staff has been absolutely incredible and any requests Ive had to put in have been fulfilled very promptly. Pete at the front office is very eager to help and will go above and beyond for you. I move around a lot and this has been my favorite apartment complex Ive lived in.
Toni does above and beyond for the residents at Abberly Crest. She had made our two year lease smooth sailing by actively responding to any issues we have. The management as a whole trys its best to keep up the integrity of the community. The only downside was the neighbors. Didnt have the best luck with those. Highly recommend a third floor apartment here.
Great place to live! Awesome community with exceptional staff, and I love all of the amenities. The only people who complain are the ones who cant pay their rent.
Very professional front desk team, house maintenance team always ready to assist any problem. House in good location, very quite area. Definitely recommended.
I lived at a belly crest for 2 years, and I must say I felt at home, they have amazing stafff, maintenance services is a five star, could not ask for a better service and they have wonderful apartments
The amenities are amazing in this complex. It is just a beautiful place. The grounds are well kept, I was impressed with the staff they were friendly and knowledgeable.
Looks nice, but theres a bunch of extra fees. They want you to pay $100 for 30Mbps internet and basic cable that you can not opt out of. I have an upcoming transfer that has been put on hold due to COVID-19 so I asked if I could pay month month until my transfer. I was told I would have to pay an additional $1200 a month extra for my 1 bedroom apartment which is already $1449 a month. My advice would be to stay far away.
I recently moved and want to extend my appreciation to Ms.Deven Robinson as she made the whole move in go smoothly. She is very professional, helpful and knows her customers well. Thank you! Lisa.
The internet Never, Ever, works and the cable always has an issue. I had to pay 25 dollars for a mailbox key when I moved in (never heard of that) and I asked for an apartment with a bookshelf when I moved here from out of state and didn’t get it (but they told me I was) oh and they messed up one of my first payments and threatened to take me to court for their mistake. They are also not very amiable, my previous apartment complex was. The SMECO AC is programmed to cut off at the hottest points of the day sometimes, but it doesn’t matter cuz the AC doesn’t work anyway. You have to pay for amenities which aren’t all that great prior to move in.Other than that, it’s quiet and maintenance people fix stuff fast. The rent office personnel don’t really bother you over silly things. Yea
Just want to thank the entire staff here at Abberly Crest, for making living here a comfortable, clean and peaceful environment. Special thanks to Monica, for always adding that special touch!
We moved in to Abberly Crest 2 years ago. I found this property online and was a bit nervous about moving to MD not really knowing if what we saw is what we will get. I was pleasantly surprised! The complex is beautiful! Well kept. Apartments are very spacious. I live on the third floor and dont hear much noise. Occasionally you can hear something but its not like Oh my God I need to move out. After all its apartment living. The staff is very friendly and always there to help you and accommodate to your needs. The maintenance is 24/7 and whenever I had an issue at the apartment I didnt have to wait. They were at my door within 15 min. to fix it.There are 2 gyms, nice size pool which is never overcrowded, playgrounds, club house, sidewalks where you can run for exercise or just walk. And I would like to mention the location as well. If you are in the military or will be working on base then this complex is the best in the area for you. About 5 min. drive to the base and you avoid all the traffic!!! To me that is priceless! In conclusion... Yes, there are other apartment complexes all around Lexington Park and California area but in my opinion you will get the best for the price out of this place. Great staff, 24/7 maintenance, amenities and location!!!
Great staff, quick to respond to maintenance issues, and they let you know well ahead of time when and if they have to go into the apartment for any reason. The facilities are definitely the best part of the deal. This is the only place I’m aware of that has this many amenities for the price (two pools with outdoor grills/great for parties, three game rooms, three business centers, and three small gyms; one of which is open 24/7)
Took forever to fix anything we contacted them about, the washer we have continued to flood for 4 months until they fixed it. The upstairs neighbors we had kept us up almost 24/7, called the police multiple times and it took the around 4 months to move them somewhere else when around 4 different families complained about noise. Still waiting on the mold in my apartment to be removed, a year and a half after moving in. The internet is super slow, if more than 1 person is on it, it takes forever to load anything. The cable for tv is constantly skipping. The phone service is garbage in the complex. The only good thing is the clubhouse gyms, but even then I work late and go to college so I cant even use them because they close. Cant wait till our contract is up and Im out of here.
I like these Apartments, but I feel they should be Managed by another company, due to the pricing, and my experience with the front office. I came by to check out the Apartments one evening in the middle of the week 1 hour before they close and the smell of cheap perfume was in the air. The person to my left when you walked in had handed me a profile of the Apartment Information and it smelled also, even when I left the office, and was not that cordial about it, so I told her I would get back to her. The office smelled bad so I can image the upkeep of the property. This was my second visit, in six months and I am not feeling it. By the way, I am a former Leasing Specialist.
Wonderfully helpful people/staff who leave you feeling important, and plenty of layouts and ammenaties to suit any lifestyle!
Ive lived here for a 12 month lease. The amenities are pretty good compared to other places nearby. The apartment quality is definitely high and the responsiveness from the working staff on repairs/maintenance is high. Only downside is the super expensive rent that usually gets jacked up even more (beware of the mandatory $90 cable/internet fee). I really enjoyed living here and recommend it to anyone looking for a high end apartment.
Apex at Abberly Crest has a comfortable interior and a usually friendly staff. Maintenance requests were handled promptly, and never had any issues using the android app to pay my rent. Aside from some snow clearing issues the area was well kept. The complex has a great selection of amenities and I enjoyed my time there.
I have been living in the Abberly Crest Apartment Homes for the past year and a half and have found it to be a pleasant experience, it is a nice community with plenty of perks to make living here preferable to other Apartment communities in the area.I found Abberly Crests most useful benefit to be their pet friendliness. Abberly Crest provides clean-up stations scattered around the community where you can grab waste bags and and dispose of your pets feces in trash bins which helps to keep the community clean. Additionally, there is a one-time pet fee (per pet) to have your pets living in the apartment with you, which I found cheaper than the monthly fee many other apartment communities in the area charge for pets. They also have dumpsters for recycling and trash compactors for non-recyclables which although sometimes were filled so much that people ended up leaving their trash in front of the trash compactor, that rarely happened and when it did the compactor was emptied reasonably quickly and the overflow trash was removed. Lastly, the front office accepts, signs, and holds packages for you if you arent home to accept the package yourself at the time a delivery attempt is made. These are not Abberly Crests only benefit but I found them to be particularly notable.I also feel the need to mention the front office of Abberly Crest is filled with wonderfully pleasant and obliging people, I never had a bad experience with the front office. Most of the time when I had something to discuss I met with Toni who was helpful and knowledgeable about every question I had and I would like to commend her personally for her attitude and work ethic; she was cheerful, happy, and eager to help every time I met with her. As an example of how good the front office is at Abberly Crest, in December of 2019 my roommate and I forgot to renew our lease until after it expired (Im talking like 2 weeks late, not a day or two late). In the contract that we signed that had just expired, it was stated that in the event that no notice of non-renewal was given AND no lease renewal was signed (i.e. exactly the event that happened), this would lead to us being charged on a monthly basis which was significantly more expensive than what we had been paying on a monthly basis previously. Instead of charging us the ~75% more expensive monthly rate, they said if we could get our signed lease renewal to them by the end of the month (a 2 day window), they would charge us the lower, non-monthly rate.Although most of my experiences at Abberly Crest have been pleasant, I want to mention my one complaint I have living at this apartment; the internet. As of February 21st 2020, There is a single cable+internet package available at Abberly Crest which includes cable, which we never used so I cant give any information about, and internet at a speed of 25 Mbits/s for $95/month; yes, that is not a typo, $95 per month for a downstream speed of 25 Megabits per second. This is by far my biggest complain about this community, we called the front office and the ISP to see if any packages were available and were told nothing can be done until the contract Abberly Crest and the ISP have has expired, which is suppose to happen sometime in 2020.Overall I would recommend living at Abberly Crest to anyone looking for an apartment in the area but I hope in the future they are able to give more options for internet/cable to fit more individualized needs.
I highly recommend, for anyone that wants quality. Everything about this complex is quality. From the front office, maintenance, and to the property itself. Great place.
Abberly Crest is a cheaply built and poorly maintained apartment complex. I feel like I am living in a hotel because I am on the 4th floor and have to take the elevator up and down whenever I want to go anywhere... I pay $1,530 per month for a 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment which is absurd! The walls are incredibly thin and the paint rubs off the walls even when only using water to clean dirt off of them. There are too many cabinets and not enough closet space + all of the appliances are cheap and poorly maintained. This is my 27th day here and I have had to call maintenance 6-7 times since I moved in. The ”free” cable and internet service isn’t actually free because it is included as an additional charge which gets packaged in to your rent at the end of each month. They do not disclose any of that information at the time of signing the lease. They love to charge hidden fees and will contact the local court if rent is not paid by the 6th day of the month regardless of any circumstances or life events that you are going through. Truly heartless people who just want your money. It is really sad because everyone that lives here is really nice but the management sucks and they treat tenants like deadbeat criminals. If you are considering moving here, I would NOT rent an apartment here because there are so many rules and hidden fees. I have found similar apartments that are nicer than the ones here at Abberly Crest for several hundred dollars less. The people who work here only care about your money and they make that very clear with how the lease is written and presented to you. Here are the issues I have had or that you might run into if you rent an apartment here at Abberly Crest:Belt in the washing machine brokeTwo doors wouldn’t latch shutFridge light burnt outPaint splattered on the floor on move inBlinds broke and snapped offMicrowave makes loud humming noiseSmoke alarms wouldn’t stop going offRed stain on carpetGround gets super soggy when wetPaint rubs off when you try to clean the wallsSuper thin walls$76.50 late fee for late rent when I paid on timeElevator is slow and buttons need to be pushed hard to registerTons of hidden fees not disclosed when signing the leaseRules are only in place to protect Abberly Crest and they offer no protection for tenantsBreed and weight restrictions on certain dogs based on what apartment building you’re in.Limit of 3 pets per household with a maximum of two dogs.60 day notice required if you plan on leaving early. You are stuck paying the rent until the apartment is occupied by another guest.Hundreds of rules and regulations with fees associated with them if you violate the rules.Rude staff (Jessica Quade)Hours of operation are awful and it can be hard to get a hold of someone if an emergency comes up.The clubhouse is advertised as an amenity but they will charge you if you want to use it.Trash compactors and dumpsters are very far away from the apartment buildingsWater and electric bills are averaged out and charged to each tenant based on how much water and electric are being used per apartment per building. So if your neighbor has their TV on all night and forgets to shut off their lights, you will have to pay some of that money.Trash compactors are always overflowing with garbage and have a ton of garbage bags surrounding themIt seems like the maintenance crew members are under the impression they duct tape and Gorilla Glue will fix anything and they do their work with such little pride.Management acts extremely apologetic online but staff and management are incredibly rude and act as if they don’t care about you or the problems you are experiencing when you call to report any issues you are having.Staff are unprofessional and said negative things about the apartment complex across the street when I came for a viewing. They do the bare minimum to keep you happy as a tenant because they have your name written on a legal document which means you are forced to live here until your lease is up. Avoid at all costs!
Great apartment but multiple complaints while moving in causing eviction, and false complaints, office believes every complaint instead of discussing and asking multiple neighbors about problem incase false complaints to have no one above them.
Great customer service! clean and spacious units
Price is good when you consider it has 2 nice and very clean pools, 2 nice and clean gyms, playground, dog park, etc. It also includes decent internet and basic cable.Been here 2 months. Front office personal are superb and friendly. Complex is VERY well kept and clean. Good luck finding any trash floating about. Lots of kids, but they are quiet at night and very friendly. My two children love it here. Unlike other apartments, theres no fighting over parking, theres tons of it. Gas Grills for public use at the Pools is pretty awesome too. Pool table in one of the clubhouses too.My apartment had some issues on move in with minor things, but all was fixed without complaints or issues within 24 hours. Dishwasher stopped working and was fixed the next morning. Closet light wasnt working, fixed the same day.4/5 because the floors are very creaky and you can hear everyone walking around above you, not stomping, walking. It doesnt bother me too much because the upstairs neighbors are typically in bed by 11/12 at night, but it could be a bit crazy if they had small children running around all the time. I can notice places in my apartment where you can hear the floor board moving and I am sure the neighbors below me can hear it.Overall, its a great place to live and they really try to keep it nice, clean, and operational.
Good Day, Thank you so much for residing in our community for the past five years . We do appreciate you and our goals is to provide excellent customer service to all our residents .I would love the opportunity to meet with you to discuss your concerns . If you send me your contact information at [email protected], I will contact you directly .Property Manager
I have had nothing but fantastic interactions with Abberly Crest and their entire staff. I wasnt able to see the apartment in person before I got here, but Estela made sure to send me updated pictures of the units I was looking into. She also was incredibly responsive from the time I submitted an inquiry through when I got settled after the move. Every time I walk in to the leasing office I am also treated like a neighbor, which is something I have not experienced at other places. Amy also went out of her way to help me move an awkwardly shaped package when I asked for help. I am so grateful for her! When I was having trouble with my internet connection (cable and internet are included), several folks in the office were incredibly patient and helpful. The community here is lovely as well, and I am all around glad that I chose Abberly Crest.
I have been a resident for a little over a year now, and I have enjoyed my stay. I have never felt such a sense of community as I have here. I really appreciate that. The staff is always available, and friendly. A wonderful lady in the front office named Lene is always hands of and ready to help. All in all, If your considering this neighborhood, it will be the right choice. Give them a call and ask for Lene!
Good apartment with nice amenities. Dog park however does not have double gates which poses a risk of dogs getting out.
Highly unprofessional upper management which dictates the professionalism of the whole office. Not friendly to military or DOD personal. They take advantage of your timely payments, hide fees, are slow to fix neighborhood amenities, and make up cost to charge you for. As a government professional you have to be in good financial standing and they take complete advantage of this and make you pay cost they are responsible for and did not sign a contract to pay. As they told me feel free to take us to court many have tried. You are only as valuable to them as your next rent check. Choose somewhere else to live!!!!!!
Had to boil water for almost 2 years to take a bath because we didnt have hot water. Derek needs a raise for his work
Friendly staff, quick maintenance and clean grounds. Highly recommend!
Had to rent an apartment from California. Pictures are decieving, office staff have horrible customer service. Would not recommend this place to any one not even my worst enemy!
The apartments are great. There are 3 gyms, 2 pools, and other amenities. Each apartment has its own washer and dryer. Cable and internet are included in the cost.
Very clean and quite. Large pools and nice gyms. Staff is very friendly.
Awesome place just make sure you see the location of your new apartment
Cleaner and a better neighborhood than pretty much anywhere in Lexington park.
Good place to look some memes
I love this place
Beautiful place to Live
