Great price and performance.GTM has trimmed and thinned my 2 Red Oaks 3 times. I have been extremely happy with each visit. The estimator is always fast but thorough. Theyve never cancelled or been late. Heck you can haul a bunch of mulch from their shop after the deal is settled up. Lastly....they are the very definition of Reasonably Priced. Give these folks a shot....seriously. my neighbors and i are glad i did.

The estimate was conducted in a timely manner (without us having to be available or meet them), and was told they would be out within 3 weeks (based on the jobs in front of us, it was actually about 15 days).Trimmed our two 15 year old oaks and really enhanced the look of the front of the house - removing all the limbs that were fighting for sunlight, and trimmed them back from the house. I wanted to write a review about my experience. I know this may be a long review, but you see, we have this massive tree, a tree we love because of the shade it provided and amount of birds that came to sit and sing in the top. However, as you can see, it is next to our swimming hole nestled tightly in this space in our messy little yard. The tree itself wasn’t very friendly as it would drop little sticky nuts that made a mess everywhere, drop its leaves in our pool and had roots that loved to grow and stretch its legs up through the pavers in our yard. It wasnt always this big and had not been trimmed like it should have been. We did still love it and were sad at the thought of letting it go. We called Golden Tree Maintenance, and Chris came quickly to offer advice and confirmed this messy tree needed to go. They gave us an estimate and gave us time to think about it, remember we loved this huge tree and had watched it grow for over ten years. The day came for them to come, and to my amazement, it was fun to watch how skillfully these guys swung from branch to branch using safety ropes and teamwork. They carefully removed it without damage to our swimming hole or the fence. I was delighted to see how speedy they worked and how friendly the crew was. They even left us with a small piece that they squared up so I can use as a little seat to remember our beloved tree. The guys cleaned up all the mess from cutting down the tree and were gone quickly. I could tell they had done this many times before, and if you need a tree trimmed or a tree loved or not to be gone, I would absolutely recommend you give Golden Tree a call and let them clean up your trees or take them down with ease. Our yard now feels bigger and it is much more bright. I am thrilled to have a company that I can trust and will forever now call on when my other tree need a trim.

Golden Tree first trimmed our trees in 2013. Most recently, they came out in September 2021 to take care of our two large live oaks, two hollies, and stand of crepe myrtles. Once again, the work they did was impeccable, leaving us with beautiful, healthy trees that are no longer grazing the roof or hanging over the street. Their cleanup was terrific as well! Chris from Golden tree made a competitive offer for the removal of a large, 20 year-old bradford pear pair and pruning of 2 read oaks. He told me that it would take a while before they would be able to come by (which was fine since there was no urgency). 3 weeks later, crew came as planned and did a great job. They were very skilled and worked fast. They finished the job by cleaning up well. I will use them again when needed.

We used Golden tree maintenance to remove the tree from our front yard. We have a relatively large Elm tree that died due to the winter storm. The folks from Golden tree maintenance were very professional, did a thorough job both with cutting down the tree as well as cleaning out the yard after the process. They paid proper attention not to cause any damage to the house and we are generally very happy with their work.

I realized the winter killed a large oak tree in my back yard, it was at least three stories high. Golden Tree Maintenance came out gave me a very fair estimate was very polite and actually came on time to remove the tree. They were thorough but most of all they cleaned up even the saw dust is gone. I wish I had more dead trees :) so I can call them again.

I called one morning and someone came out same day to assess the situation (downed tree from wind). 5 days later (only due to holiday weekend, Im sure) they came out and removed the tree and all debris. I had one very large dead tree that needed to be removed, the stump ground and three others that needed the canopy raised. I got several estimates including Golden Tree Maintenance. Many were close and some were even a few $$$ less. However, after loosing one tree to the recent freeze, I did not want to risk it with less experienced companies. I preferred to trust a company that had an arborist and was insured. Chris came out and gave me a written estimate on site. He contacted me 24 hours before sending the crew. The guys who came were extremely polite and worked well as a team. I was amazed to watch them as they completed all the work without even taking a break. They removed all the tree branches using a chipper to grind the debris, raked up the entire yard and then used a blower to get any remaining twigs and saw dust. .I certainly recommend this company and will refer them to family and friends.

Golden Tree Maintenance is an A+ business that Ill certainly use again. A tough winter along with some tree pests left me with a few unwieldy dead/dying trees that needed to be removed and cleaned up. Not only did GTM take care of the massive job of cutting down 2 large dead pines, they also helped clean up a few other large trees that were encroaching on neighboring properties and overshadowing my garden. Attempted to purchase fireword during the storm was told couldnt get gate open due to power outage and to come back at 3:30-came back at 4:00-was told workers didnt show up therefore didnt want to sell-considering the dire need for firewood-I would have been happy to load my own wood-Im sure others would have as well. Was told to come back in the morning which I did, there were at least 12 cars and trucks lined up to get wood-gate was still closes, but owner was there.Left and came back two hours later- closed signed had been placed on the gate.This business felt no responsibility or moral obligation to the community and the families struggling to find firewood in one of the most dire times in Texas history.

Price gouging on firewood when people are in most need of help during a statewide emergency!! You people are pathetic and I really hope they see this review before doing business with a company like yours.

I have used this company before and was very happy the first time. This time I was home during Covid so I saw everything and while I am happy with the end results I was not 100% happy with how things were done. Instead of cutting the tree limbs smaller they just dragged the huge branches across the yard. Some were so large the branches were scraping against the house and knocking over lights in the yard that were not in the tree drip line but next to the gate they were trying to shove limbs through. At one point the hose was hooked to a branch and the guy never noticed.. just dragged the hose across the backyard to the gate. I finally ran out and unhooked it myself. I was also not happy with how instead of cutting the limbs smaller they just dragged them and shoved and pulled at them until they could get them through the gate. I could see the fence moving as they yanked the limbs through. The supervisor did not seem to understand everything I was asking about. He just kept nodding and saying ok. Also I was going to pay with a credit card and he did not tell me there was a service charge. I would have just cut him a check right there if I had known. I ended up having to mail one. Overall the work on the trees was done well but the communication and labor workers were not great.

Chris was my contact. He gave me straightforward advice about the viability of my aging tree. He gave me a very reasonable trim quote. His three guys showed up on time, in a clean truck and with well-maintained tools. Cleaned up after themselves when they were done. Very professional! Today was my fourth time using them, but I don’t think it will be my last

Golden Tree removed a very large Cottonwood tree (over 40 inches in diameter) from my back yard today. I could not ask for a better job. They had their hands full with this one and the small space to work in. Not one problem. They even cleaned up my neighbors yard where some small debris had landed. This is a very professional company with very reasonable prices.

Had Chris come out and give and estimate to clean up the property (about 12 trees) and between the time of the estimate and the job day my neighbor butchered the Bradford Pear, left me with a half a tree because it was killing their grass.Called Chris to ask him what to do and after sending pics he advised the worst had to happen, to take the tree.The guys came the next day preformed all the work and then some. I had 2 small fruit trees not on the list to be done and they took it upon themselves to clean them up for us, this was very much appreciated considering the TX heat.Also not to mention I talked to the other neighbor and he said that they were over on his side cleaning my trees up and he had a few limbs on the ground, they took them away as well.Chris very professional and kind, ready to answer any questions I had.Crew VERY thorough and have gone above and beyond for us.will call them next time!Thank you Golden Tree!

They did a good job trimming my backyard tree back in March. Cost was about $425 pre-tax. I met with Chris for a quote to trim my neighbor’s branches that were hanging over pretty far onto my property. He told me it would be about $500 pre-tax! Wow! For a few branches.... I got him to come down to $375 after explaining they trimmed my ENTIRE tree a few months ago for $425. Dishonest quoter if you ask me. I had another company come out for a quote and they quoted $325 pre-tax and I didn’t even have to haggle with them.

This place is the worst. I went to compare a material on Friday and they did not give me the complete material and I do not want to pay back the credit for the missing material and for 200 dollars that they charged me extra that were left to return the money and they did not. During this week I will be filing a lawsuit with this company for stealing my companys money and for the damages caused. Be careful

Found Golden Tree through Google and let me say they were hands down the best! Chris came out and estimated to have 3 trees removed from my back yard and trimming on others that were way over grown. I can now say I am in love with coming home and seeing a beautifully groomed yard! My grass is finally able to grow from under the trees and was able to use the 2 yards of FREE mulch to freshen up my flower beds! Highly recommend Golden Tree service was all around a pleasant experience.
