I spoke with someone named James at Guardian Pool Services this morning to get a quote for a leak detection, and the guy was rude and condescending. He said they were so busy he doesnt have time to sit around and talk to me. He wanted me to go back to the pool company that scheduled the work and talk with them even though I was telling him that I might have to work with a different pool company due to insurance reasons. Hence I would have to sign up for this service on my own instead of going with the original pool repair company that scheduled the service. James wouldnt have any of that. He was dismissive and unprofessional and hung up on me. For a new customer like me, this interaction speaks to the character of the entire company. Wouldnt hire these guys even if they were the last leak detection company on earth!Updated: Looks like the guy I spoke with (James) is the owner of this company. He has responded below stating this review is false and that he tends to go with his gut on jobs like this. What has gut got to do with it?? I tried to hire them for a leak detection job - thats their core business - nothing extraordinary. He wouldnt even quote me a fee. When he asked me to go back to the pool repair company that scheduled the work, I told him that the insurance company is requiring me to work with a different pool repair company and hence I would have to pay for this leak detection service separately. I made it clear he wouldnt have to deal with the insurance company in any way, I would pay for it. Yet, he wouldnt quote me the price and dismissed me outright. His accusatory response and demeanor below only validates my experience. I would urge anyone looking to hire them to be very careful dealing with them. There are several other good options out there - companies that treat their clients with respect and professionalism. Go to them instead.

Thank you for coming to our home this morning, made a appointment a month ago and he was here first thing in morning, found the problem and ready to set it up to fix I had no problem with them everyone is nice and get the job done.

Great folks at Guardian have helped me troubleshoot pool issues I have been having. I have an older pool prone to leaks and Guardian pool folks have fixed all the issues we have been having with our pool.Thank you guys, I will be using your service as long as I have my pool

Had a complicated replacement of skimmers and also a leak. Work was completed as promised and problems resolved! Minor follow up was needed for completion and it was handled promptly and efficiently. They did exactly what they said needed to be done for the price we agreed to. It was all done on a handshake!!!!

Use it once about 9 month ago and did not find the leak on my spa. Now want to change 90% of the cost of checking the whole pool for a single line..... they are all about taking you money.
