Have been using them for several years. Had a new young guy come out to spray the wasps. He found a nest full of big red wasps. He got stung by them as he started to knock them out of the fence post. He was brave to keep spraying them making sure he got them all. He also found another nest of yellow wasps in the boxwood which I didn’t know were there. Very good tech did his job well.

I have a quarterly appointment and Romney sprays fir bugs and cleans my eaves. They even spray inside for ants but I seldom have any. I’ve used this service for over 15 years and they are honest and well priced.

We have been over-run by flies this summer. Romney told us this is happening all over due to the amount of rain we’ve been having.They treated the indoors around doors and windows and gave us sticky traps that attract and kill flies like magic! We had so many flies that we asked them to come out again, which they promptly did. The flies are now mostly gone! What a relief to be able to sit down to a meal without having to deal with flies dive bombing us and trying to land on our food!!!

The guys at Romney Pest Control really know what they are doing when it comes to controlling pests in and around your home. We moved in to our house almost two years ago. We were combining households, each from a different apartment. Just as we feared, some of the apartment cockroaches decided to hitch a ride to our new digs. Our experience with Romney Pest Control has been a total disaster. We previously used another company, but were interested in seeing whether Romney could provide more responsive service and better results than our previous pest control company, so we agreed to switch to Romney after a visit from a sales representative. Our issue has been, primarily, wasps.The first person that came out to treat our property was unprofessional in his appearance and demeanor, showed up with a cigarette in his mouth, and left that used cigarette on our property after the service. The treatment did not improve our wasp situation.The second person (different employee) that came out to readdress the wasp issue treated the property and then assured me that he had verified there were no wasp nests on the property, and therefore if we saw any more wasps then it must be because the neighbors have them (we have verified with both of our neighbors that they do not have problems with wasps). Later that day, I went around the side of the house for something, and happened to look up to see a huge wasp nest under the second floor window. We called the previous employee back out who then came and knocked down the nest. I can only conclude that if he missed such an obvious and active wasp nest when he was called to my home specifically to treat wasps, that he was simply not doing his job with any kind of effort or attention to detail.In the days since that last treatment, our wasp problem has gotten worse and expanded form the side and back of the home to right by our front door. There is absolutely no indication that Romneys treatments are effective at all against them, even though they repeatedly assure us that it should keep them away for 90 days. It could be that their employees are showing up and not doing what they tell us theyre doing. I dont know—either way, were paying money and getting bad customer service and no results. We intend to switch to a new pest control company ASAP and, based on our experience, highly discourage anyone else from using this company.

John was extremely knowledgeable and took time to not only do a thorough inspection but also explain what he was seeing and what needed to be done to eradicate the termites. I was extremely apprehensive and worried about the process but John made us feel 100% comfortable that it was going to be taken care of and with preventative measures in place taken care of for good. Romney also came in much lower than another company we had quoted through. They are family owned and really seem to value their customers, not just look at them as dollar signs. Will stay with them for all ongoing and future pest control needs.

Besides their quarterly service, they clean out all the spider webs, wasp nests, anthills etc. within a day or two each time I call them. They also take care of any rodent problems. Definitely recommend their service.

Any question I have thrown at him has always been met with a thorough explanation and a big smile. I am particular about the pesticide usage in my yard and around my house. Romney always calls the day before their appointment. They always treat the outside around the house and you had the flexibility to also to have the inside of the house treated as well. If you had issues between treatments they would come out and re-spray at no charge. Romney will knock down any wasp or other insect nests if there are any. Their cost is reasonable and I highly recommend them.
