I also had Payroll on a Budget for my company at Nursery Decals and More, Inc. and they failed to file my tax deposits on time in all of 2016. They took the money every 2 weeks but didnt file with the IRS on time resulting in over $3200 in penalties. They have claimed all along that if they couldnt get them abated then they would pay them. But the owner hung up on me and is saying it is my responsibility now. Just FYI ... Payroll on a Budget is a brand name. They operate as GetPayroll now. The actual company name is Custom Payroll Associates. Do NOT use them. They LIE and will cost you a lot more money than you pay them to do the payroll correctly.

Gave Payroll on a Budget one star because zero wasnt and option. Payroll on a Budget got me penalized $2,057.90 in 2016. I was penalized by the IRS three times in 2016 for non-compliance with payroll tax deposit requirements. I was notified in 2015 that my deposit requirements would change for 2016. Every notice from the IRS was immediately sent to Payroll on a Budget. Every warning that Payroll on a Budget had not made the required changes was immediately sent to Payroll on a Budget . Despite 9 months worth of assurances Payroll on a Budget never made the simple deposit change that the IRS was requiring. I was penalized for 3 out of four quarters in 2016 (the IRS gave me a free pass on the first quarter violation) and GetPayroll NEVER did anything to correct the situation. Payroll on a Budget got me twice warned by the Texas Work Workforce Commission again because they simply were not doing their job. Payroll on a Budget now conducts business under the name GetPayroll. The person who referred me to Payroll on a Budget and GetPayroll has also had trouble with the Texas Workforce Commission and has been penalized by the IRS. Take your payroll business anywhere else.

Beware of this company. Tax filings are late, that means the small business owners are penalized. No one is helpful and be ready to make hours of calls to the IRS to then learn they do not have any of your payroll deposits. After two and half months of asking for help from this company, being patient, still nothing. Beware.
