Ive been a hospital administrator for over 30 years and have managed over 10 facilities. By far, one of the best management companies Ive worked with is Horizon Health. Love these guys like family.

With nearly 30 years of mental health under my belt, all in a hospital in-pt setting this company is bar none the biggest joke of a management company. The “management” truly do not even know who they even manage. If your company is lucky you may see them 2-3 times a year. Or lucky you don’t see them depending on which way you look at it.Behavioral health deals with helping others managing their behavior, assisting in helping family relations and promoting individuals independence to the highest possible level. It’s a shame this company sets the very worst example of what administrative or even decent “relations” should look like. At the very top to HR this group has personalities of rocks. One would think when they collect 30% income with the contracts they sign with each hospital they would at least try to fake it.Worst of all with sadly some hospitals being as corrupt as they are, this group only helps assist in covering up reported abuse, neglect and yes death.Please move your loved ones if they are at a hospital affiliated with Horizons.

My mom worked for this company, they wouldn’t even let her leave so she could have dinner with me on my 21st birthday. Absolute trash, that’s a memory I will never get back. On my birthday It pained me to hear my mother crying, she wanted to be there so bad. Me and my mom should of never had to experience that, never should a employer make a employee cry.
