VIP in Lewiston on Sabattus street was excellent, they worked with me to get the right price, tightened my lugs to spec after 25 miles and even offered a period of time where I could change my tires if I changed my mind, which is great, showing that they truly care about their customers satisfaction.

This is my go to mechanic! Ive tried other places closer to my house, but I love that I can always get my vehicle in to be looked at, and get the issue fixed within a few hours. The staff are friendly, professional & I trust the info they give me, which keeps me coming back. I recently went in for an inspection and to find out why my check engine light was on. They reduced the standard price they quoted me on pulling the codes because it turned out to take half the time - something they didnt have to do! Anthony, the tech got the work done quickly, and Dom was great at communicating updates to me and even helped me use their coupon book to save some money on that work and some future oil changes! (The free coffee and wifi in the comfy little waiting room is a nice bonus, too!) Im so grateful for this place!

In less than the estimate hour for a multi-point inspextion(52mins total) the task was done and I recieved my review of my cars state. Im pleased with the speedy job.

I had gone to a tire shop which shall remain nameless, and my car began driving rough. I took it to VIP and asked them to check it out. They found the trouble right away. I needed a new upper control arm and bushing. Im glad they were able to take care of it for me.

20 years ago I go “rip off” by VIP in Bangor, Maine and telling people not to go here. I live in Lewiston, Maine now and I needed a State Inspection sticker I went to 3 other places and they couldn’t do it for my and honestly I wasn’t going to go to VIP but they was on my ride home. I gave in because I really needed that sticker. So I went in and Dom was amazing at his customer service, the man behind the counter got me right in there. After probably 20 minutes, Martin the person who did my inspection told me I just needed a blinker light. I was happy more then that you made a new customer and I can’t say anything bad about VIP anymore! Thank you! You guys ROCK!

Good service I will say though right for diagnostic is very hard they do not give free estimates Ill get stuff done on your vehicle they charge you to work over it to find out whats wrong with it so let you know how much it would be what happened to the days when you can go places get a free estimate have your vehicle fixed and not have to pay the havent looked at. I spoke to the manager and they helped us out with that issue just heads up it will cost you if you want to have a vehicle looked at and get an estimate

I had planned to leave town for a longer trip only to find out in the morning that one of my cars tire had a nail in it. I tried the local shop but they could not do it, so I called VIP in Norway. The had an open slot at 2:00pm but I told them that I had to leave soon, and they asked me just to come by and they would see what they could do. I dropped the tire, went for a cup of coffee and at my return the tire was fixed at no charge. What a service oriented and friendly group of people.. Highly recommended. I was so stunned I even forgot to tip them. HPS

Wouldnt trust them to check the air in my tires. They sidnt notice my oil pan was rusted and leaking? Just changed the oul and said nothong. Hard my car aligned and now the steering wheel is crooked.

I appreciate how easy it was to get my appointment scheduled, and how easy it was to go ahead and buy the parts I needed. They did everything on my car in less than 2 hours which was good for what I was getting done. Highly recommended if you want to be informed on whats happening throughout the process of getting your car repaired. Not to mention, something as easy as a Google Review for a free oil change? You would be stupid not to save money and do this!

I went in to get my tire repaired, however the gentleman advised me it was unsafe due to the condition of the car. He then looked up how much it would be for a new tire. When explained I wasnt prepared to buy a tire that day he was very helpful and sent me somewhere to get a used tire until I could get them all replaced. Very good service Ill keep going back.

I would like to give a special thank you to Don this morning for helping me with a time problem. I needed air in my tires on my way to the dentist. I was not feeling well at all and only had a few minutes to get there. He said no problem and had me pull up to the air hose and I was on my way in less than five minutes. Don has amazing customer management skills. I felt he cared! Thank you again Don! Just putting air in the tires may seem minor but it was major deal for me this morning.

I brought my vehicle to vip in Lewiston on sabattus st after getting out of work from 3rd shift, not knowing why my tire monitoring light was on indicating I had low pressure on my dash. I tried filling my tires 1st on my own at gas station but air was blowing back at me. I came in at 9am as soon as they opened and was greeted right away in such a friendly, professional manner by Domnique who was at the service/repair desk. By this time from just my work, to gas station, to vip my tire had gone flat so I was panicking. There was only one tech on, Anthony, who was booked solid for the day, but still between the both of them they had my whole tire pressure sensor system completely replaced and reset, and rotated and balanced my tire, and filled my tires to correct capacity all in 20 mins even being booked! As Anthony was working on my vehicle Dom was so pleasant and polite and conversated with me all while answerng phone calls and taking customers walking in and out! They both are definitely KEEPERS! Ive never been so impressed by such great customer service, their knowledge, confidence, and efficiency at any garage in my life! I was very impressed when I left and would highly recommend this VIP location to anyone!

They did a great job at VIP in Saco. I needed alignment done. I had Gorham VIP try to do alignment couldnt do the job. I was told the bolt were too rusty to do the job, Saco VIP did the job with no problems. The vehicle is align. Thank you for the great job.

I needed an oil change on a Sunday and had not made an appointment. Every place I called was booked. Robert at the service desk offered to take my name and number to call me back if someone cancelled. This was the seventh oil change location I had tried. Robert was the only person who offered to get back to me. Within a half hour he had checked with some of the other scheduled appointments, found one who was not going to come in, and called me back with an appointment time. Robert was very polite and helpful throughout my complete experience. I am very appreciative of Roberts customer service.

I have been pricing studded snow tires at local shops and had received two what I thought were rather expensive quotes from the two other tire chain stores in lewiston/Auburn.I walked into VIP to pick up something for my car and figured “well, while I’m here.”The woman behind the counter, (I believe her name was Lisa) was very nice. She first brought me out to show me the tires she would recommend for my car. She gave me the facts I wanted and did not play hard sell at all. she let me decide what I felt would be best for my car and budget.She returned To the counter and worked me up a price that was just about 40 percent less than there other competitors. She did utilize a buy three get one free sale but also made adjustments when I found the same tire at a local distributor selling the tire itself for less. In the end I had the tires installed and out the door I saved a little over 200 dollars. Thats not snack money! I also was told I have free rotation and flat repair if the need arrises. The tech changing my tires marked each of my old tires as requested so come summer I know where there were located before. He also bagged each tire so they would not dirty up my car’s interior. That earned him a 5 dollar tipIn the end I enjoyed the customer service and work ethic I received at VIP on Sabattus st Lewiston. I’ll be back. I need my oil changed an I guess thats where I’ll be bringing it today.

Brought my Subaru in for inspection sticker. Needed to have exhaust fixed, was able to schedule it for an appointment, came back they performed the service and it didnt exceed their quote and they gave me my free state inspection sticker. They were courteous and have always worked with me to make sure that they make the work that needs to be done is affordable for me and thats why I keep coming back.

Nice people, good for quick easy things, but wouldnt go for anything major. They have suggested a few things that my normal garage then said were not nessisary and they have broke 2 air pressure gauges on my car while swapping tires our than I had to pay to replace them.

Wife got home late from work with a check engine light and oil light on. Knowing the vehicle was way overdue for an oil change I tried a few calls at 4:45pm to see if I could squeeze in an oil change that night so taking time off from work would not have to happen. I called at 4:00pm on a Saturday to see if they could get me in the same day for new pads and rotors. They were the only place in town that could squeeze me in! We purchased four new snow tires and that experience was fine . However one tire continued to lose air and had to be inflated every few days .We returned to have the tire checked. The counter person was very unfriendly and was clearly annoyed we were there. He went unto complain about how busy there were, and that they were understaffed.He also said it was not his fault our tire was leaking and it would be 8 days before they would look at it and I was welcome to leave it .I left and will never return.

This place is a joke. I brought my car in 3 times for these guys to try to figure out what is causing my check engine light to come on. After the third time, they couldn’t figure it out...they told me I could make an appointment to come back a fourth time!! I’m all set, I will be going somewhere with real auto mechanics. These guys clearly don’t know what they are doing. I paid $300 in all and still have my light on. I do not suggest anyone to go here. Better off finding a mechanic you can trust!

My bf took my car in for its last oil change and to be checked after an incident from a prior vehicle inspection. Lisa took good care of him and no problems were reported.

Took my car in for an alignment check after being told from a different shop that it would be a $600+ job to make the necessary repairs to get the car back in alignment. The guys at VIP were able to do the job for under $100. Very impressed by their honesty and customer service. The best place around to get an alignment.

. Ok want to add to my post. My son who is a mechanic fixed my AC he has no machine to charge it. So I took it there. I was told something else was wrong with the AC and it could not be charged at all. This was last May when I left there my AC was fully charged and still workingCome to find out it was the tire changer worked on my AC the tech was not there. So why did the tech work on my AC. The way I look at I got my AC fully charged from a person who did not know how to opetate the equipment which can be dangerous. Tried to contact the district manager numerous times but he never returned my call.

The Sabattus Street crew is very helpful and knowledgeable. They have performed several repairs on my Suburban and its always gone off without a hitch. The Service Manager Ben does an excellent job taking care of his customers. The ASE certified technicians do excellent work, especially Shawn the master technician.

30 dollars to have a tire dismounted off a 15 inch rim and a tire mounted and balanced on the rim which you carried in. They did not have to touch the car at all.Not for nothing, but this will be my very last visit to VIP. I just noticed when the Auger family owned VIP the name was VIP Discount Auto. No more Discount here.
